I Hooked The BIGGEST BROWN TROUT of My Life! (Streamer Fishing)

  • It’s a well known fact that big streamers are the most effective way to target the biggest brown trout in a given body of water. Today I experienced that firsthand as I fished with big streamers for the first time and had some incredible results

Hey, that was a fun video to watch. I might suggest you slow your approach and retrieve a bit to be a little more "stealthy". Slowing down will help keep you from slapping the water and could give the fish an opportunity to grab your extended fly. you may want to try working your streamers up from the bottom of a run (will also help you to slow it down) instead of ripping it quickly downstream with the current. Nice looking flies btw.

@@jameshoffer4852 i like fishing them from upstream and casting downstream and retrieving them against the current, problem is in these small creeks sometimes I can’t get upstream of a spot without spooking it. I definitely need to slow down the retrieve though, that’s what a lot of people are saying

Awesome vid man!! Also been hooked on streamers for a while. Caught my biggest brown on them! Super addicting!
