This list is very accurate. I'm pretty sure Sengun will end up at the top spot in near future with multiple all star selections. But not sure about him getting the ring.
I’m pretty sure that after a couple of All-Star selections and if the Rockets underperform, teams will be standing in line to trade for him. Maybe he’ll end up with a contender and actually get to the top 🏆
😂😂 great comment! There were actually more than 10 players all-time, but some of them might have gone unnoticed (mediocre play / not enough playing time etc.). Stick around as other top 10’s will be posted in the near future!
I believe Kanter was the most talented in all of them. He had NBA ready physique, he had soft touch and superb post moves. But he was kind of less IQ or he couldn't handle public attention and stress in NBA. Just couldn't be ready player on court. He had a also immature political side shaped by Fettullah Gulen Organization, which wasted his talent. Turkish people has many reason to hate FETO , for me Kanter is just one of them.
yes, I agree about his talents and I saw that during his career he had multiple beefs, especially with LeBron. I recently saw an interview of Kanter still talking smack about him, which is kind of petty. I was not aware of the entire political aspect of his life, but people in the comments let me know about it, and yeah, I agree he's into some strange stuff. The reasoning behind including him in this top 10 was purely based on basketball talent. thanks for the info and comment!
I actually had Erden at 10 initially, but I feel like Aldemir had a better all-around game if we consider his passing skills as well. Anyway, they had similar short careers in the NBA and both should have been resigned by some teams. Appreciate the feedback!

I was a fan of both of them. Just like I followed Alpi eagerly, I also keenly followed Memo and Hedo. I always found it difficult to consider one superior to the other in terms of their careers. Hedo was the most important piece for Orlando after Dwight Howard during their second rise, post the Penny-Shaq era. There's no doubt that his career would have further flourished with the chemistry he had with Howard, if he hadn't chosen to go to Toronto after his best season. Memo made significant contributions at the Pistons and rightfully earned his championship. At Utah, under Sloan, he became the number one option. He fully deserved to be an All-Star. Had he not been injured, he surely would have been an All-Star again, as he was of that elite caliber. Considering their roles in their teams, the impacts they left, and the objective successes they achieved, I find it reasonable to consider Memo as the first.
Great analysis 👍 to be fair, I had the same thought process while ranking them and, in the end, it all boiled down to Memo being the first Turkish player in multiple categories: winning a chip, being an All-Star, plus his achievements in the NBA post his playing days. Had Turkoglu won the championship in ‘09, he would have definitely had a greater impact than Okur in ‘04, nevertheless it hasn’t materialised.

@@NBATimeTravelThank you! Reflecting on their journey and considering Kobe's determination surrounded by a strong team, I now see more clearly that Hedo had no chance in those finals. That year marked the peak of both Dwight Howard's and Hedo's careers, but neither had the fundamental to lead a team to a championship.
Dude, you've made content, but you don't understand much about basketball. Alperen Şengün made his name in the history of the NBA. Is that enough? And now allstars. The NBA is nose to nose with the new best. Everyone will want to play with him with respect and love. Listen is inconsistent. In addition, there are both missing players and more players on the list. In other words, there are non-Turkish players on the list. And then there's the GOAT. ŞEEEEEENGÜNNNN
Let me stick to the part I’ve understood from your comment: I don’t quite get it how placing a player with only 3 years of experience (even less when the video was posted) above accomplished veterans makes sense, but yeah, I might not know much about basketball 🤷♂️ as I said in the video, Sengun has potential to be number 1 when it’s all said and done, but for now he’s just putting up great empty stats, until he starts winning individual awards or a ring. Check Okur’s resume again
Kanter is not Turkish, u need to take him out of the list btw.
👍⛹️♂️
Kanter is not turkish... Take it out of the list.
Not wanna get into politics, but he did represent the Turkish national team at some point, but I get your point
U decide who is Turkish or not? Just because evil Erdogan.
He havent played never at Turkish National team . İts not politics. This is honor reason all turkish fans.

Ene Kanter is not Turkish player.
Semih Erden
Ibrahim Kutluay
Mirsad Turkcan (1st Turkish NBA player)
Had them on the extended list. For me it was a toss up between Erden and Aldemir at 10 👍
Most of them have the roots from Serbia. That's why they were great
If you mention Ersan you have to talk about his ability to take CHARGES which he was leading nba at one point if im not mistaken
lol, forgot about this but yeah, that's true, great defensive weapon

Seeing as the rockets won’t underperform because we will be the contender
Sky is the limit for this young squad 💪
Top 9 daha doğru olur.
Of these turikish nba player, sengun has the most potential to be a star or superstar.
Totally agree! He’s off to a great start this season! Great potential
If it's not an All Star this year, he'll definitely make it next year. He's going to be in that Jokic mold
No türkoğlu better
I think probably sengun will end up #1 individually in a 2 years, he may not win a nba champion title but he will be a superstar surely.
He’s definitely the most talented of them all. I also think he’ll end up number 1 ☝️
Ask number 6 if he still feels like a Turkish, then remove him out
Number one mehmet okur
Number two hido
Number thre alperen and for now :))
As an American i did not know that Turkey had 10 NBA players 😂 but still you guys put out some good talent. Good for you guys

We have five active nba players right now. Furkan, Cedi, Yurtseven, Alperen, Onuralp.

Sengun should've been an all star this year
