“Showtime sengun” needs to be seen on tv
His throwdowns are literally ferocious. He's something much more than a seemingly not so athletic and strong but skilled passing centre.
He is also athletic and yes actually very strong , watch how many times he body slammed JOKIC and Le Braun and scored , you must not seen those plays

I remember when we drafted him. I googled him cause I didn’t know nothing about him. They were saying he was a baller from turkey. That’s all I knew. Watched his turkey highlights like yea this kid is ready. I Did not know he was gonna be dominating like this!!! I love this kid fr. His game is so fun to watch. I can’t wait to see him representing the city of Houston in the all star game. Even the Vets and greats see his potential
As a 18 years old kid he became the MVP of a grown men's league.

@@poppinc8145 I agree. He was benched most of the time when he first came and the coach saw how good he is but still didn't give him enough chance so Alperen is now kind of playing more serious and more dedicated thanks to coach for giving him chance and he took that and used it well.

Passing is great similarity. However certainly more dunks and classic center Action at the rim than Jokic. Meanwhile jokic takes more distance shots.
@@Voggl242 yeah forsure is more athletic. He has a higher ceiling because of that imo. I honestly see him being a top 10 player if he keeps it up. Houston has a bright future so long as they’re smart and patient. I can’t tell you how many times Nuggets fans wanted to do the common thing and trade longterm prospects for short term stars (who had zero chemistry together). If Houston is patient they could be the next great young team.
He is more point guard than the sum of point guards in his team. He deserves a better team.

He literally improved so much at this season. You can see that by his footwork and choices for scoring. We can see all the details coming with coaching from one of the best big man in history "The Dream" Hakeem Olajuwon. You are over the years going to be Kidd of Centers with those passing abilities. Such an exciting player to watch.

Unlikely but maybe he’s a better version of Sabonis. Jokic was already way more impactful in most advanced stats even as a rookie then Sengun was year 2 and year 2 Jokic was amongst superstars already in his advanced stats. Jokic IQ is off the charts projecting Sengun to be that level is a reach

All this what you have seen has been done under the age of 21. Alperen became 21 during this offseason. That said, during the offseason he had some international matches he played. In those matches we could see that his extreme high responsibility has even risen, not forgetting he just turned 21. His body has improved muscle wise, but more important he grew about an inch. We all know by now that Alperen is a very good and capable "point-centre", but during those international matches Alperen played almost only as a power-forward who had tried 4 or 5 3pointers during matches. This is being mentioned because people find that Alperen shoots too few three’s. Another shooting attribute, free throws, Alperen was about .7 at the line. Well i can tell you that his free throw will be something else the forthcoming season. And then we have fade aways, the bigger you are the more difficult they get. I’ll say watch Alperen in the new season for some "huge" fade aways!
So this 21 year old gots his very own "Showtime Sengun" NBA video of 15 minutes with a ton of comments because he lacks this and that, and needs to do this and that… and now he showed to me (and within a few weeks to the rest) that he has actually improved most of the things he has been criticized on. So without any exaggeration i expect that (showing all his new, and old skills) this kid will be drafted All-Star this season already. The reason why i posted this message here? Because Alperen Sengun will be the MVP within 3 years. He now has the recognition and comes with a bunch of improvements right after. If he can do this again next off-season this guy will be the next big franchise of the NBA, which makes me even more proud of Alperen Sengun than that i am already.
