Kinda hard to say no to free bottles though, so I kinda see why. Although I usually stay clear of frags being over-hyped. Luckily I live near Harrods in London, so I get to test drive anything before buying. Amazing customer service there. Talking of test drives, when are we gonna hear your thoughts on Torino 21?

Fully agree with your assessment of the fragrance. This is a fun not meant to be taken serious type of fragrance. Not my favorite at all but not the worse either. I think a nice sandalwood base would have made this fragrance a lot better!
Kirke has the fruit bowl with sandlewood base. I didn't think I liked it so much. But I kept reaching. Used it up and now I'm bummed out. I don't think I will buy it again. I got a great discount. I would be extremely happy to be gifted either of them

I got a 100 ml for $130 usd on a MaxAroma sale and i really like it. It isn't my absolute favorite but in Texas you need more hot weather fragrances than cold weather fragrances. My 100 ml edp bottle doesn't have velvet on it though. I noticed that the bottle in Neiman Marcus doesn't either.
Bought this a few years back because I loved the opening, but there is this tenacious cheap musky smell in the background like you describe Marc that's very similar to a lot of Middle Eastern perfumes; I find it a little off-putting, and also, I got told I smell like an alcoholic once; another time I was told I smell like an eccentric old woman 🤣🤣 I have since retired this fragrance from my rotation.
The new Magica version of this by Christian Provenzano under the new (old) Sospiro brand smoothed out the profile significantly. Far less synthetic and far more interesting. Not a lot of hype on this new one but I’d wear this 10 out 10 times over the old Erba Pura.
got a lucky scent sample spilt it opening it, but I really like something in the open that was gone in under a second , pick up a full bottle and well same thing , I was more up set when I blind bought a rasasi boruzz musk's and it smelled like erba pura
Never tried it, in fact I only know Naxos, Kobe and 40 knots and the only ones I like are Naxos (can't stand the Lavender overdose, reminds me of Fabuloso floor cleaner 😆) and Kobe but not to pay for a full bottle. This one sounds good but not what I want right now. Thanks for the Unboxing Marc!!!

How come my Erba Pura is so weak? I know this perfume is a beast. But my bottle doenst last nor project. I know for sure its original , even Xerjoff confirmed it through email.
I'm a huge Xerjoff fanboy but just couldn't have a relationship with this one and wear it, it's too cloying and persistant. It's only something I want to smell now and then for a reminder but just can't wear it. On someone else it might be nice to catch whiffs of once in a while.

sounds about right, i think this is flash in the pan scent. people will enjoy it right away but after time will find something better.

This smells just like Mancera jardin exlisf which came year before Erba Pura. Xerjoff coping.

I have a bottle and love it but my wife hates it, you have to wear this sparingly too, more than 1 or 2 sprays and it can be a little overbearing
