How to spot fake Xerjoff Erba Pura Perfume
The smells are very similar, practically in the first 5 minutes you can't tell which perfume is fake or original, but after a while the fake Xerjoff Erba Pura perfume no longer has the same base notes... it smells but doesn't resemble the original perfume, besides the original one, which is a nuclear bomb in smell, even 48 clothes persist.
The original Xerjoff Erba Pura perfume costs 250 dollars, the price of the fake is between 50 - 70 dollars.
A safety element to identify the Xerjoff Erba Pura perfume box is its color, the original is presented in a darker green color, compared to the fake one which presents a lighter green color... see in the video. Carefully inspect the golden edges on the entire surface of the box, the original ones are thinner, compared to the fake one, which has thicker golden stripes... see in the video.
Turn the box over... on the back, carefully inspect the fire mark, the original is more legible, without traces of erasures or extra vopea, compared to the fake one which is thicker and with many mistakes...
The serial number on the back of the box must be identical to the serial number on the bottom of the bottle, if this safety element is not met, then you will surely be faced with a fake Xerjoff Erba Pura perfume... more serial number on the back of the box it must be glued on a small transparent plastic, for fakes we don't even have a serial number... see in the video.

It looks like the atomizer assemblies haven't changed much from the Erba Pura comparison you did 3 years ago. The fake ones have a metal ring around the spray nozzle while the real ones have a plastic ring.

What about the smell ? I almost just bought the fake one for $100 does it smell much different?
