I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Malgus’s swings look like he’s swinging a sledgehammer instead of a lightsaber. There’s so much power in his fighting style
Most likely he’s a Djem so specialist, that style favors aggression, and power strikes.

Star Wars Cinematics sind immer onpoint.
The reason why it entitled itself as "Disorder" is because the padawan became confused when she discovered the truth. Instead of believing her master, she trusted the Sith. Thus, it led to her master's death. There's also a hidden meaning in her actions after her master's death. Instead of destroying the cube like what her master had asked, she still kept it during the fight. The reason for this is because she believed that she can find her brother through it, not factoring that she's up against a High ranking sith.
thats what i love about the old republic, prequels, OT, and sequels make the sith so evil as a viewer you can't understand why jedi fall to the dark side and just kinda have to accept they get drunk with power. TOR shows its a constant battle every jedi goes through between their own desires and what they are taught is right, when phrased that way, of course some jedi fall to the dark side.
Her inability to let go of the past get her master killed…
My question is before finding the holocron, was she not informed that Jedi intentionally hide them in order to keep the Sith from tracking down all the remaining force sensitives and either annihilating or corrupting them?
I love those moments in Star Wars when the Jedi behave no better than the sith, it makes fallen Jedi so much more believable

There's a character called Kreia from Knights the Old Republic 2 who has an interesting perspective on this.
@@zendariun101 think of this for example: if you were a Jedi you would be taken away from your family at a young age, never to see them again, and forced to train in the ways of the force. You’re forced to follow strict guidelines, guidelines which if you break you are removed from the Jedi order. And from the looks of it, they just leave you on the doorstep. The Jedi don’t send you a shuttle or anything that might help you get back home, they just kick you out and say good riddance. Children like anakin for example shows how unstable a force user can get due to the way of the Jedi in my opinion
Their trailers still tell better star wars stories than disney managed to tell in plenty movies and shows combined.

Now this is how it shoulda been handled in film...
“Malgus…traitor” even the throwaway villain had a badass line
These 6 Minutes did a complete character introduction, showing someone you could relate to, and told a complete story of betrayal, grief and hate. It had a threatening antagonist, a plot twist(a few actuality), nuance, and the main trio of characters; Malgus, the girl and her master, are all well written, multi layered, and complex. More than the sequel trilogy were able to achieve over the total hours of multiple runtimes.
Something I just noticed is that at a few points Malgus’s eyes weren’t yellow like all other Sith. I wonder why that is? Maybe it’s a sign that he’s going his own path like Revan before him?
Also if this actually get expanded on at all ever, the girls brother *needs* to be a Sith had to he primary antagonist to her and hellbent on getting the destroyed machine’s holocron to find the force sensitives and killing all jedi, including her. It would show the true detriment to the Jedi masters choice to leave him behind, and force her to contend with that the only thing she still cared for hates her and must be killed.

@@joshuascafidi3851 Maybe. But this was a life or death situation. In GoT, it was a sparring match, against a fighting style Brienne was unfamiliar with. Lesser trained/powerful is not a guarantee for loss.
@@squallstopher608 I only have one issue with that statement, we see arya, both during and after her training, fight just as many skilled westerosi knights, as we see Brienne fighting bravosi/facelessmen trained warriors. So there is no implied or outright state proof that either of them was familiar with the style of the other.
Hopefully, in the books, Martin does show that. I'm perfectly fine with arya tying or evening winning, I just want to see training that justifies it :)

Malgus truly is a Sith to fear. How many Jedi and Sith died on his blade? I wonder if we'll ever find out what his real aim is? :) Looks good as ever.
There was a book about him, as i recall his name is Veradun.
One of his best kills is ven zallow
@@kaijubros3747 And this one. Ven Zallow was a one-way battle the entire time, besides getting hit a few times. But this fight between the master and Malgus was one-sided in the master’s favour. He’s one of, if not the only one to single-handedly take on Malgus and survive. Only reason he died was because the Padawan was distracted by her past.
These are the profiles I like to play as the most:
-Sith Inquisitor (I value power a lot, but I also believe only the strongest of mind or soul can wield it, and I want to see if despite being a Sith, I'm still worth it);
-Jedi Consular (I don't really like the hero who goes against everything the world throws at them, I prefer the one who observes, becomes an anti-hero for control and manipulation in the name of preservation, or tries diplomacy);
-Imperial agent (between manipulating in the shadows or dominanting in public, I prefer to remain in the shadows, to be precise and immerse myself in the details);
-I'm unsure regarding the Mandalorian warrior. I want to build my own legend, to leave a careful trail behind to be studied and traced back to me, after my work becomes definitive. But I value purpose balanced with duty. And the warrior seems to want to build his legend out of pleasure alone. What do you think ?

Well using two swords isn't really any better than just one and they can often get in the way of each other. Why do you think using two swords was pretty much never done anywhere in history?
@@EvidensInsania Not really, the practice just wasn't widespread as it's a style that's hard to master but anyone that has? Watch out! The double blade lightsaber was much the same.

@@EvidensInsania Ah fair enough :) Yes the only famous duel use swordsman I can think of offhand is MIyamoto Musashi and even he lost in the end.
@@cyberjordan1 Sword and dagger was used quite a bit for civilian self defence because it didn't have one of the main problems with using two swords. That being that when holding two swords of equal length they can often get in the way of each other when moving them to block or attack.

Completely different holocron. For one, the old republic is not in canon with the main SW universe (its the only thing non canon disney allows) plus A holocron with a list of Childrens name fron 2000 years before would be worthless to the Empire

Nein, Star Wars The Old Republic ist kein Souls-Like sondern ein MMORPG. Die Story hier spielt weit vor der Skywalker-Saga. Disney akzeptiert es zwar aber dieses Spiel ist im "Legends"-bereich eingeordnet.
Wouldn't it be great if there were people, which hid their children's abilities from the jedi, and the kids learnt how to use the force, yet aren't Jedi or Sith?
