Then goes on to main event 2 manias in a row
The first with THE GOAT Stone Cold Steve Austin no less!!! who hadn't had a match in 19 years.
1 with THE star of the attitude era and then the next year he main evented with his best friend
Yeah...Night 1...
@@mattjindrak Still Counts
@@RickC28 some people just like to find the negatives 😂 it’s sad really
Main events wrestle mania with stone cold... What a legend
Then again main events with sami in a first ever main event tag team match.
Does it really count when WrestleMania is a two-night extravaganza now ? Isn't the actual main event the last match of night 2 ?
@@Uzuchiha08nah still it's a main event he main evented two straight WrestleMania
@@seximexi5820 check mania ones card. Lol
He’s not a legend- you could put a high school trombone player in there with stone cold and Vince and they’d be a legend. Owens is not a good wrestler, he doesn’t look good, his mic skills are sub par… I don’t get it…. And I say this as a Canadian
This must have been before he brought Stone Cold out of retirement. That was the Pinnacle
Look at him, obviously it was before Wrestlemania 38
Kevin Owens said, "I've been here for three years". He signed with WWE in August 2014 and had his debut match in December of that same year. He attacked Vince McMahon in September 2017. This means that this interview was conducted in either late 2017 or early to mid-2018, at least four years before he main evented WrestleMania 38 with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.
Humble dude. That’s dope.
Little did he know he would Main Event WrestleMania against Stone Cold Steve Austin. I know he hasn’t always been booked like he should have but he’s had a impressive career in WWE.
WWE Universal Champion X 1
INTERCONTINENTAL Champion X 2
United States Champion X 3
WWE Tag Team Champion X 1
NXT CHAMPION X 1
Grand Slam Champion
All he needs is to win the World Championship one more time and main event WrestleMania against Sami Zayn.
don’t forget win mitb
Also defeated Cena in his debut
@@deadmanwalking5741 Not only that, but beat him clean, not everybody did that.
We don't need another Sami match, imho, there's been plenty enough of them, all over the companies
@@MonoCronic nah, we definitely need another and will get another. They have classics every time
Little did he know he would Headline not one but TWO manias in a row. Dude is a legend.
Mans definitely had a charmed career.
Goes on to main event WM with Stone Cold Steve Austin and then main event WM again winning the undisputed tag titles with his best friend.
I'd say KO has a pretty good run in WWE.
Goes on to main event WrestleMania with his childhood idol’s first match in 20 years, followed by main eventing the next WrestleMania and winning the tag titles with his best friend. Wow.
Yeah, it gets better from here Kev ❤
Kevin Owens is my favorite current wrestler. Has been since NXT days. Deserves another title run
First ever tag team championship wrestlemania main event has to have topped that.
the first ever wrestlemania main event was a tag team match
*First ever tag team champioship wrestlemania main event has to have topped that.
He said that he thought going against stone cold was top . Then next maina (39) he said that topped that and he doesn't understand how it keeps getting topped. Even said if nothing else happens in his career he'd be happy
@@szczesciejestkoloruczarneg749 thanks I forgot to put championship
@@bobtheslob2246 it's alright 😗
I'd like to think that headbutt to Vince was what got Vince so high on Kevin. He's an absolute monster and deserves his spot
Main event Wrestlemania with Stone Cold. Just insane to think about
KO has certainly outdone himself. One of the best
Extremely talented
Kevin is so great
KO is definitely one of my favs
I forgot that happened already.
Good news, it got even better. Because he got to main event WrestleMania 2 years in a row. First against his childhood favorite Stone Cold, and then again alongside his best friend.
That's a stretch. Night twos Main Event is the real Main Event. Night ones Main Event might be a couple matches before the real Main Event.
Bro got to wrestle McMahon and Steve Austin
K.O "That's gonna be pretty hard to top.
Stone Cold has entered the chat 👀
This is interesting because there's an interview after Wrestlemania 39 that Owens does with Sami and Ariel Helwani and they say that during their careers they'd constantly think that "this is as good as it's gonna get" but things just kept getting better. Here's the proof I guess because after this interview he goes onto wrestle two Wrestlemania main events back to back against Stone Cold and then win the tag titles with his best friend, beating the longest reigning tag team champions of all time in arguably the best storyline the WWE has ever produced
Vince obviously saw something in Kevin Owens to agree to do that spot. KO is the most down-to-earth guy on the roster. But he's also the most sarcastic prick (in a good and hilarious way) if you start messing with him lol. Definitely love seeing him give interviews like this
I'm gonna assume he now considers his Mania main event match with Austin as the pinnacle.
I think its fair to say you have far exceeded that moment. You and Sami are the face of the WWE right now.
Kevin Owens now has as many Wrestlemania main events as Randy Orton
Main events back to back years
That's a stretch. Night twos Main Event is the real Main Event. Night ones Main Event might be a couple matches before the real Main Event.
Kevin a future hall of famer
hopefully he don't get screwed out of it
Not only did he main event a mania with stone cold but he was the first tag team championship main event in mania history however I think we can all agree night 1 is very different than night 2
Little did he know he would MAIN EVENT MANIA WITH STONE COLD BRO
Lol every Kevin Owens interview he talks about thinking this last moment is the best it will ever be and never topping that moment. Then he does 5 more things that top it.
And then he managed to top it having a match with Stone Cold.
WOW !!
& now KO has main evented 2 WrestleManias in a row with the GOAT SCSA & best buddy Mr. Ucey.
Maybe next he is gonna main event again against Mr.Ucey.
now ur one half of the undisputed tag champs
The best moment was the festival of friendship
And then goes on to get Stone Cold Steve Austin to come out of retirement to wrestle against him at Wrestlemania, along with the awesome tag team main event on day 1 of wrestlemania. Kevin has done so amazingly well for himself, It’s not even funny! So Happy for him! When wrestlers like myself, go on to retire, we keep tabs on certain guys that we hope to see really hit it big. Kevin has always been one of those for me, personally. Beyond proud of him!
Barley dump barley dump 🎶
This must be before him and Sami win the belts at WrestleMania
Then Steve Austin said "HOLD MY DAMN BEER!"
And then he wrestled Stone Cold at mania.
He sounded defeated in this interview but see wjat happens to great talent... back to back Main Events at WrestleMania
Little did he know he would battle stone cold later
Vince pushed KO out of this Galaxy. and no one noticed cos he was a heel, an actual heel who was actually h8ed by the crowd.
Also gets to have a match with Stone Cold, wins tag champs with bff Sami Zayn, and destroy a faction working on a three year story in the Bloodline
From beating up vince to getting laid out by rhea twice
He went on to fight Stone Cold Steve Austin in an incredible match
little did he know....
Little did he know, he'd get to wrestle Steve Austin at WrestleMania
No sound?
Years later. He would main event wrestlemaina with stone cold Steve Austin I think it got better
Cue the glass breaking…
He got to wrestle Stone cold at wrestlemania in the main event. He definitely top that in my opinion.
Nothing will top the bedpan
Little did he know….
The thumbnail made this video look like a nonce hunter sting.
Kevin Steen to AEW after his contract is up Confirmed unless he gets another World Title Run.
Dude main evented wrestlemania with Stone Cold and drew a good match out of him.
He deserves it. Love KO.
The funniest part about that was the absolute amount of shit Vince was talking to him right before the headbutt.
Then went onto
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Kevin Owens
Wrestlemania 38 Main event🤣
Imo kevin owens is like cm punk
In the aspect on the day levin owens leaves Wwe its not gonna feel the same without him for a long time and id imagine if he left on controversial terms the crowd would be doing chants on kevin owens
It was supposed to get Owens on the level of 2009 Orton but, people barely talk about it so sadly, it failed
Luckily for Owens, he got more pushes and got over again barely but yeah
very cool! but this is only the second biggest question involving KO... >.>
and yet he did...
….Later on he main events with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Just goes to show ya never know where life is gonna lead you.
Then he wrestles Stone Cold at wrestlemania in what is likely Stone Colds last match. Seems like he topped it
Trust me KO, it gets better than working w Vince and that Universal title run. It gets WAY better!!!
Not very often you get to say that something actually did age well
Did Kevin Owens peak too fast in WWE?
The title never comes into play at all
Ko should be son of stone cold kayfabe, scsa gave his blessing to ko
a undertaker match at wrestlemania would beat that!
big ard tough kevin owens headbutting a 80 year old man
He has no idea how to answer this question lol
AEW
What !!?? Where his tattoo !!?? So that was fake huh ??? Damn 😨
Insert stone cold
Vince went on to say Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho was the worst wrestlemania match ever
This was after that. Literally same year. Vince doesn’t hate owens as much as people say he does
Im mean it wasnt a great macth both wrestler didnt want to do the match that way but worst vince booked sid vs undertaker wm main event and must think it was such a good shit
IT will be in WWE unfortunately
Not gonna lie, KO looked better with less tats
Inside the ropes thos why nobody really follows yall should over 3 million but yall say dumb shit "a angle he never really worked with anybody" VINCE MCMAHON LITERALLY GOT BEAT UP BY HIS TOP GUYS ON A MONTHLY BASIS BACK...inside the ropes just stop
I’m looking for his armpits. Looks like a place for boils.
He sounds so distant and uninterested
Where is his comment on the headbutt? Misleading much?
Fr
He headbutt Vince and the beat the hell out of him. That's the one they talk about
@@ikhy1990 lol I'm talking about him actually talking about that exact moment and did Vince bleed the hard way or did he blade? I know he head butted him and beat him up but I wanted more details as the headline says he talks specifically about the headbutt. Everyone knows he did it but what's the backstory? You feel me now?
It was not😊
Midcarder
"it's going to be hard to top"
Yet Steen looks like a someone who doesn't have problem with choosing toppings .😂
Why's he talking About his Experience with Vince!!! He should be talking about why and how in the Hell he made it to the WWE to begin with! Absolutely No look No Charisma and was just Awful in the Squared Circle!!! I give him 2 👎👎!!! Hahaha
I’ve watched Steen for years and I don’t see it. Can a fan of his please sell me on what I’m missing that makes him a main eventer
It’s okay to it be a fan of someone that is popular. I have several popular wrestlers I’m not a fan of, but you don’t see me going around to videos about those wrestlers trying to shit on them. Wrestling fans are already tribal and shitty enough to each other already without people trying to start shit on purpose, and it literally costs zero effort to just, yknow, not comment on videos with stuff like that.
@@bluenosegamer9175 I wasn't, I literally want to know what others see. If I can understand the reasons I'm missing then possibly I can enjoy his screen time better.
You could have asked to clarify instead of just assuming Ill motives.
Well, first he's probably the most relatable wrestler due to his looks and the way his character works. Pretty much one of us, so to say only with more kick-ass ability. Also he's a great promo and most importantly, a heck of a wrestler who can go against anybody and can make anybody look good. He was trusted with haveing a WM match against Stone Cold, and let's be frank, he carried Austin through that match and made him look still awesome (especially when you compare that to other oldtimer matches in recent years we all want to wipe from our memory). He had some crazy matches against Reigns, and again, he was carrying the matches and made Reigns look like a billion Dollars. Basically he is a guy like Mick Foley or Christian, in that no matter if he wins or loses, his opponents come better out of the matches than they went into them. And I'll always care more about this kind of wrestler than I will care about all those larger than life figures.
@@Eluarelon Thank you for the reply.
He's a good hand for sure. Stone Cold did come out smelling like roses after! I think maybe my biggest drawback is that he looks like me/us. I have a hard time with his credibility because of it. Foley looked like that, or possibly worse, but he was a psycho and Unique. Maybe I'm just a mark for dudes that look like they can rip you limb from limb. I did love Big Bubba Rodgers when he was huge and later when he slimmed down. I also, even to this day, love Bully Ray. Maybe it's because Steen is Canadian, but my favorite wrestler from youth was Bret Hart.
I don't know
@@TheJDough1 Everyone has different things they like about Wrestling and I think that diversity is what making it so great. The giants, the high-flyers, the technicians, the brawlers, the entertainers, , and as long as Wrestling has things that both of us (and of course, other people) like, we can probably live with the things we don't enjoy quite that much :)
Humble guy, great worker. He would've made it in the Attitude Era for sure. He's one hell of a technician and wrestler
You know NOTHING about the Attitude Era!
