playing against falcon as incin is so much fun, no bullshit projectiles and/or stalling to take advantage of the slow cat, just a good old in your face fist fight, it's so hype i love it

This is a FT10 they did a few weeks ago. Same players, no comentary, but a few remarks here and there.
Whole set was a highlight reel. Insane
Skyjay is quickly becoming my favorite pro to watch. Like he casually taking esam and Leo to game 5 and now beating fatality… WITH INCINEROAR
Incineroar is cracked and nobody respects him, probably because it's so rare to see one
@@AutistiCat2406 he’s super slow and incredibly volatile though. You have to have insane clutch, like skyjay does, to come back when you’re down by a lot because it will happen with the character.
When you have a slow character you gotta be patient. Skyjay’s got nerves of steel and great reading comprehension when it comes to fighting other characters.
It was like a month or 2 ago I started seeing Skyjays name pop up in big tournaments. And my God is it entertaining to see incineroar
That is the reason tho. It is BECAUSE it’s incineroar that he can pull these upset-like situations off. Incineroar is so volatile and hits really hard (plus he has command grab), which allows him to be able to bring back games. It’s pretty hard to scrap with him, which is why he tends to do well against characters that can’t kill without getting close.
That was intense! I'm just happy to see incineroar at that level but both those guys played one helluva set!

Breaks my heart that Fatality is out, but SkyJay played out of his mind. Amazing set.
Good set nonetheless, but I expected more from Fatality
Honestly I'd like to disagree. Skyjay pulled a lot of unexpected movements but he also whiffed a LOT of easy punishes and missed quite a few combos, whereas fatality was very consistent in his combo game and his positioning for punishes.
@@ericchun5576 That's a +1.5 matchup for Falcon, Skyway was just playing cracked and Fatality choked in the end and let him get a nontrue combo

@@RTGXII no it's not. I tested it on the training modpack. Fatality could have airdodged from that back air, that move took like an hour to come out after a weak nair with barely any hitstun. So it's Fatality's fault for probably mashing an offensive option in that situation against an untrue combo.
I think this was one of the best matches of Smash Ultimate I have ever seen.

When Fatality gets his steam running, he looks unstoppable, but Skyjay was able to counterbalance with precise and lethal confirms. Great set
Gluttony said it when he played Fatality in that first to 10. Fatality's predictable aggression cost him this set. If he had just waited at 13:20 when he had advantage instead of chasing Skyjay off the map he would have won but instead he got gimped and put himself in a last game last stock situation.
Fatality's aggression is his greatest strength and his greatest weakness. At top level play it's costing him too much. He needs to learn to hold advantage at times instead of pushing. He can go so much further if he just learns some patience.
You make a good point bro but I think it’s the fact that falcon sucks at being defensive. The best thing he can do is jump defensively but the second they start antiairing you’re kind of screwed
Thinking about it kind defensive against incineror is easy…

fatality getting caught by that last Nair was painful. Skyjay though played amazing. The slowest runner vs one of the fastest and still keeping things even.
Speed is a lot in Smash, but you really can’t afford to whiff vs a good Incineroar.
TBF you also can’t afford to whiff vs Falcon, that’s why these matches are really quick and aggressive.

As an Incin main, playing against Capt Falcon is one of my FAVORITE matchups in addition to Terry. A great day for Incineroar hopefully getting more recognition after this

@@williamspears1627 He is not a good character no. The player however is very very good. Just like HBox is very vwry good with Giggly, doesn't make the character good but their skill level is very high.

@@williamspears1627 There isn't because you aren't using facts. Stats, frame data, tier lists all show how subpar of a character he is. That's not bad though. The skill Skyjay possess is incredible and puts incineroar on the map. Skill can make any character viable. If you have no skill even top tiers are bad.
It’s amazing how comfortable these guys are with each other’s play style after that first to ten. Makes for some amazing stuff.

This fight needs a sequel!! It was like a no-regrets play style! Maybe that's not the better way to play Ultimate, but that's the most hype and honest. We need a "fatality vs skyjay" part 2!

Fatality played like crap here. They're pretty evenly matched for the most part. Skyjay won't be getting top anything unless he picks up a secondary
One of the best sets in this tournament so far. Probably my favorite. End to end action!
The "Sir... Sir!!" Like he's trying to diffuse a situation with a customer acting unreasonably was comedy gold!

Here’s a tip for everyone out there, NEVER take Incineroar to town. He can cheese stocks at 40 so easily because the sides are so close.

Most intense and electrifying matchup I’ve seen for a while! These two players are insane and the many frames mistakes were so juicy for a spectator. 11/10

Man SkyJay is so good with this character. Literally Incineroar has the worst speed but STILL put up such a good fight and manage to beat Fatality. Good stuff
In a RPG Incineroar is like a character that someone put at MAX Attack and forgot to put any stat growths towards anything else

I feel like I’m watching a player from the old generation vs a player from the new generation. Skyjay trying to prove himself that he belongs in the big leagues to an old player like Fatality. It’s beautiful and nostalgic.
