Incineroar weight value is 116 while Ridley is 107 under Samus which 108 at the heavy tier
@@jamesthelivingplanet Ridley cannot be a heavy, being lighter than Samus for me automatically makes him not a heavy. If you’re dying before Samus who’s a chick in an armor suit you’re not heavy

Don’t think Ive ever seen the skewer sweet-spot animation in a real match before. Caught me totally off gaurd! One of the best freaking animation in the darn game in terms of evoking emotion, it’s just so raw!

Incineroar is absolutely busted like... I've hated the character even before the buffs
@@buttbutt3000 uuh.. Yeah well, it's not really this specific thing that makes him "busted". Beside he's far from busted, he has an incredible moveset and frame data but it is extremely well kept in check with his slow ground and air speeds.
Even Skyjay wasn’t ready for that lol

Can't count the number of times Skyjay tried to dash attack the roll-away just to get shield grabbed and thrown off stage, which is the worst spot for Incin.

This is extremely unexpected and refreshing seeing a Ridley VS Incineroar Grand Finals in a pro tournament.
First match shows how painful incineroar recovery is, swan diving full speed to his death 😭
Incin is just so fucking bad. It’s just frustrating to watch. Skyjay better find a new main if he hopes to ever win a major. His obvious talent is wasted on a character like Incin. Sorry if my comment offends anyone.
@@MidianVGC sometimes is not about winning and is not like Skyjay is not actually getting results with the character. So yeah.
@@MidianVGC I think inceneroar isn't that bad. If you analyze the match, most of those deaths were mistakes. Also I think Incineroar should be played agressively, but not how skyjay was playing him. Most of the agression I mean should come from fear. Incin has a lot of good moves. Playing slow would benefit Incin greatly. Skyjay tries to make too many hype plays just to please the people watching and ends up paying for it every time.
@@buttbutt3000 you missed the point you're trying to make in your own defense of Incineroar.
Incineroar is bad BECAUSE he has to take those risks to take stocks and win neutral. His options are incredibly linear and doesn't have any advanced movement tech to take advantage of.
Whereas characters higher on tier lists don't have those big risks in neutral or off stage, have consistent kill confirms, and above all else, SPEED.

The amount of times Nair did double jump off ledge in disadvantage state and ate a bair is staggering.
He kept getting punished for that, I'm amazed that didn't stop him from trying it repeatedly.

Skyjay seem to panic if that makes sense, played way more defensive and didn't as many NAIR, spins, side b or combos. Heck even grabs which Incin is the best at.
You can feel the sweat and the precision in each move. These guys are both sick

I mained Ridley since the game came out and incin is my favorite mon so he’s my second main.
I play Hero, Roy, Seph, Byleth, Joker but I began with Ridley. Love watching Ridley plays

Really amazing movements from Skyjay using Incineroar as always!!! I used to use the Back Air only offstage but he uses it almost the entire game. I use more the Side B and Darkest Lariat to ran off situations.

Love Skyjay's games, when it's good it's great! But his performance is sooo inconsistent!

As someone who’s participated in a few low-tier-only things (mostly at my school and battle arenas), I can confirm that they are amazingly fun. Absolute slug-fests and a joy to both watch and play.
Rise n Grind did have an official low-tier side of things last week. Was pretty interesting to see different characters play

Command Grab suicides like Ridley, Gannon, or Kirby always kill the user first. Nair probably wanted to release Skyjay but was just a tad too late, allowing him to recover.

Skyjay coulda won I guess but you need a secondary. The bracket reset was extremely painful to watch. Incinerar off stage is easy pickings.

Lol It's interesting how many people seem surprised at the characters for grands in this tourney. Yeah, the meta is much less restrictive at lower levels. Stuff like this can easily happen with low-mid tier players, but it would never happen in a major stacked with top players.
Nair actually defeated Sparg0 in Smash world tour Lol, and Skyjay defeated Fatality, and in his last tournament in US defeated Chag and t3 Doom

There was a tournament on VGBootcamp a few days ago where Grand Finals was Wii Fit versus Duck Hunt...
The gameplay here was really lacking. Neither player played too well, the level of play difference between this and any nonlocal tournament is HUGE
I was a little disappointed as well, seemed like they both flubbed some easy punishes. Maybe they were second guessing themselves because both characters are uncommon match-ups?
I thought that Nair’s creativity in the final 2 matches was phenomenal. Debatable that his fluidity won him the title.
If you wanna see a better match between these two just look for the set they played at Smash VERTEX. Easily one of the funniest sets in ultimate's history.
I mean they're both top 100 players and the best representatives of their respective characters. Not exactly randos.
