My second animatic finally done after working on it for 2 months (not including i was on vacation at Disneyland when i started working on it) I seriously did A LOT of research for this animatic/story especially on the Gods Ra & Seth.I have an Egyptian story novel in the progress and I thought it be a great way to make my own version of the plagues. I mean, who wouldn't? It's from one of the greatest movies in literally history and my childhood! I had seriously a lot of fun doing this and hope you all like it, I have another one in the progress too which i will soon release during my school semester starting next week, wish me luck and i wish you all love!

Actually, it's Ra, I did a lot of research and know that similar gods look alike but that's Ra, he's a good God trust me and yeah, they hate each other.

@@mickeysanimatics1996 There are a lot of versions of stories from Mythology, and Egyptian Mythology is pretty much the opposite of an exception. Set was invited to make thunder on Ra's Sun Boat after Horus was made King, In the versions I read, which satisfied the god of Chaos.
@@charliefarmer4365 Set just want to rule Egypt, not to destroy it. That's why he help protecting Ra's Sun Boat from Apophis who to destroy the world. Not much to reign over if everything is destroyed.
Ra (or Horus idk) and Set involved in a sibling rivalry that leaves many innocents completely destroyed....

Fun Fact:Red in Egypt is a symbol of evil and death while Blue means the Nile and life. Red means the desert and Blue means the nile.
But I like how even Ra is stating she has to end this suffering

Elsies voice fits Rameses so well. It’s so powerful and strong. So perfect
Ra having to stand against the son that was ever loyal to him in order to ensure that there would still be a proper kingdom and people left.... that alone hurts me more then if this was Horus standing up to his Uncle.
Brilliant usage of the siblings showing their characters great and why their respective gods chose them. Ra for the girl's kind heart yet understanding of what needs to be done to protect Ma'at. Seth for Pto for the lust for power and desire to never be the weaklink, an obvious insecurity Seth was proud to exploit to make him a 'proper' pharaoh.

Yes the princess has RA as her mentor since she’s the first heir and needs a good loyal powerful god by her side to show her the ways to be a true ruler and not stick to her tyrant pharaoh father or her also tyrant yet toxic love and power obsessed brother who’s influenced by Seth (he might switch or have also Anubis too) but he hasn’t killed anymore… yet just caused destruction so far. He mostly wants her than the Throne which Seth or other gods aren’t happy on that lol
Was so happy to see Anubis but it saddens me to see him portrayed as 'evil'. Still an amazing video! Well done!

I adored this. I love that you used Horus and Set for this, canonical enemies of each other. Horus seeks to reclaim the throne that would be his birthright after Osiris, but Set in his anger at what Isis did sending Ra to retreat to the heavens, usurped Osiris and Isis, taking the throne for himself.
and here we see siblings, one chosen by the destroyer to lead the people, the other by the avenger.
Thank you! I’m glad you liked my work! 😊 and sorry to be that person but it’s RA and Seth yes. RA is the mentor of my princess who seeks just and claim her throne as pharaoh while Seth is for my prince who only seeks power for himself but at the same time wants his sister to be his queen even if she’s the first born.
I’m still debating to use more gods in this series but right now it’s only these 2 mentor gods.

Anubis is the one with the head of a jackle (dog). (Pagan and he's my deity...) He's the God of Death in loose terms. But he's more of a carrier of souls to where they go after death, not the one who causes their death....
edit. I was informed that it is not Anubis. It's Seth, the God of Chaos.

I'm not sure if you knew this, but the Prince of Egypt also got a stage adaptation that ran on London's West end up until the beginning of this year. In the musical's version of 'The Plagues', it starts out with a clever mix of the chants "By the Power of Ra" of 'Playing With the Big Boys' and segways into the chants of "I send the pestilence and plague...". But then rather than reprising "All I Ever Wanted", it reprises one of the songs exclusive to the musical (although there is a reprise of "All I Ever Wanted" where Moses recoups with his adopted mother Queen Tuyah and she is begging him to make peace with Ramses).
I always thought they sang 'Thus sayeth the Lord, since that's what it always says in the King James version...

i believe that Anubis (that Coyote God that was on the evil side) should be swapped with Apophis. Anubis is more of a God that measures the goodness and badness of the heart. Not really an evil god. Apophis, however, is a snake God that is THE embodiment of Chaos and evil. I think he will match with this incredibly well.
Ra, that falcon God that was fighting on the good side, is the king of Gods, but that doesn't neccesarily mean he is the God of goodness. Think of him like Zues. The one that is the God of Good is Horus, an eagle god and I think he would work.
The battle between Eagle VS Snake, Horus VS Apophis, Justice VS Tyranny, Good VS Evil.
This is why I love modern stories that talks about mythological gods, especially the egyptian ones.
The next plague will just be 'The sun shall never rise up again"
I like how Ra in this video is basically like "You know what? Yeah... fuck Egypt."

I've seen all four of these videos and, first of, huge fan. Secondly, I can't help but feel like these stories aren't particularly in order.
Side note, as someone who took mythology my second year of high school, I really love how you're using Ra and Set.

This year I’m gonna be working more on it for sure along with these parts too, even not In order hope u don’t mind that lol
And I took some mythology courses too 2 years of college, recent last semester which I LOVED more than my art classes yes! Haha and I wish to get a masters in mythology studies especially Greek, Egyptian & Norse.
RA and Seth will be big lead Gods in this story since they are mentors to my siblings. RA good for the princess and Seth bad for the prince haha 😁

Yes I will, I have huge plans for this projects. I want to make this into an illustrated novel like I did for my Greek novel (that is online published to read) I have ideas for next parts as well to make this more intense and dark and improvised animation and storyline each time. I will get right back on this as soon as I can since I’m settling into a new place in another state, which is why my next works are on hold at the moment. That’s great! I wish you luck! Well, the best way to make an animatic, if you have access, to a storyboard program like Adobe Photoshop,after effects or one I use called storyboarder which is connected to photoshop and makes my panels easier to organize and makes the basic animation smoother for me. I’m not gonna lie, but I hate the cover. It just doesn’t sound right as a female. Male goes along way better. Animation was good though.
Well, u probably won't like that in my next Egyptian animatic I'll ave the lead male with a feale cover too. I did search A LOT of covers but couldn't find any right one than the one i got planend for. I just felt the female covers are more powerful than the male covers, and i want it to be powerful but i will have subs for it so it will make a bit more sense if that helps and thanks! :D

@@user-hb4eb1or1x yeah i just started taking storyboarding classes and i'm still learning with my professors and i'll be working on a new original story aniamtic to apply for internships plus my second OC one too, hopefully i'll get at least one of them out before i start next semester next month but thanks for the support, i really appreciate it! :) i have my intagram with process work on them and my art stuff
