It is not just cloak that got nerfed. NB used to have access to Major Resolve as u could trigger it with Spamable (Suprise Attack) and Cloak. But SA got moved to Assassination and Cloak is a toggle now, so you cant use it to trigger Resolve when you need it. NB being a good choice for IC is debatable and the reason for it is quite simple - existence of Detection Potions (and other detection abilities). It is hyper easy to counter stealth right now as all of the things that are designed for that are still "tuned" to counter "previous" (castable) cloak. Even back then it was easy, but now it is actually way too easy. So NBs in IC, unless they are in larger group are dead on arrival, even before they leave spawn. Also, just a side note - if you played as a NB & have a little bit of experience, then you can 100% get away even without detection to counter stealth. All you need is direct dmg aoe & a little bit of experience what would you do as a NB. But in PvP, players tend yo use overkills. Personally, I would move NB to B+ and if you are stam build then maybe even to B or even C+ depending on the scenario.
Bro, with all due respect, you're not playing Night Blade correctly if this is your perspective. NB has the highest single target burst out of any class. They also have some of the hardest hitting heals in the game. Their semi spammable hits harder than any ultimate in the game. Building into resistance on Night Blade is almost a wasted stat. NB survivability is from its mobility and heals. Even if you run defensive sets for duels, you can still hit crazy numbers with spec bow. NB is king in imp city.

If you allow NB to go invisible (somehow) and your build can't take 1 bow proc & you will not react by roll dodge / block- then it is not NB that is "king" of IC, it is you who made tons of mistakes. Lets put it this way: Even top NBs can't kill a half decent PvP player with one attack. You need burst combo and it is very easy to avoid the rest of that burst combo. And with how nowadays you can basically kinda remove sneak / stealth gameplay in IC, even approaching as a NB to land a 1st part of burst combo might be hard & risky. Speed as you mentioned is important, but that is cuz you can use that as a substitute of the unreliable stealth.
@Tommy_The_Gun Based on what you're describing to me, you just need a better understanding of how the nightblade kit works. I'm not bashing you, but I'm telling you you're wrong. If you run a proper gank set up, with or without proc sets, you can burst players down with max resistance in a single global cool down. If you run a brawler, build for duel all of your survivability comes from the absurd crit heals and mobility, well fitted triats. You can even run a resto back bar. A common setup you might run into is ET, RC with Balorghs. Are you running reposte CP, backstabber, fighting finness? You can even run pariah with ET and still hit insane numbers with spec bow. I mean for goodness sake, if you run 2H, you have infinite sustain. You can run invisibility pots to get around cool down. Magblade is S teir, stamblade A+. Edit; BTW, you should be dropping your spec bow when the target is stunned. If the enemy is roll dodging your spec bow, you are not doing right, and your timing is off. Stop treating stealth as a crutch.
Hi Jake, Random question for you, Is there any event that gives you a bonus for doing Crafting surveys ? Like getting a parcel box or something ? I know they don't have increased mats for surveys but maybe an event you can get parcel boxs for doing them ? I Literally have 7000 surveys, not an exaggeration I have 180 x 40 each ish (average) I don't want to do them unless there's some extra incentive

I'm new to PvP and I'd really like to make a dedicated NecroHealer even if they aren't good. I figure all Healers have access to the Restro tree but only NecroHealers have access to the Necro trees. It looks like a lot of HoTs, a few solid debuffs, and some wonky abilities like a minion that mitigates damage, Tethers that are free with the exception of Corpse requisites. A big downer for me is those Tether abilities require premade Corpses, and they break over distance, etc. If it's Cyrodiil fine but everywhere else that's a bar spot just to make another finicky bar spot work. If I'm not making and consuming Corpses I'm just every other Class in ESO but worse, imo. Any tips other than reroll? I got plenty of capped toons but I really want to Heal as a Necro.
Try Nobility in decay from IA makes you the tether. PVP healers need about 40k resist buffed (resilient flesh) it would be a good bb set. You can run that and fb Rally cry, or PA, or SPC if someone else in your group is running Rally. You need to make your weapon spell dmg and health as high as possible. Run recovery food and moster set like choke thorn or bloodspawn from ulti gen. You cam definitely make a good pvp necro. But Warden meta.
Met enemy arcanist in bg 4v4 yesterday, he got 39-0 on us, yeah we had 2 pve players with no exp and i was a healer, still i haven't seen anyone else doing this crazy dmg output nor any arcanist be able to outdamage my self healing
My pvp main is a warden. I never knew Northern storm got banned from duels. XD Also combining it with balough and shalks and you got a pretty good set up going.
Can we get real tier lists S-F? Everyone is so afraid to make real lists. Divisive? not really everything is S or A. cmon. Necro and templar needs reworks in PVP and PVE. Necro should be F tier DPS, and why? Because its not a fluid class an any matter (needs a permanent pet option) and very clunky. Templar because of nerfs and no real direction in design. I'd like to see class devs in ESO with a a solid vision on classes. All classes in this game seem very middling and similar in design and their skills while different are not different enough. Devs knocked it our of the park with DK and Sorc other classes seem weak in execution.
I just don't feel it to be honest. I've mained Templar for years and the shit feels like a wet noodle now. People outhealing beam execute, downright ignoring my jabs that used to tear through people. I feel like the resource drain for damage done on jabs is not balanced. The burst damage (Pol, stun, jabs,) Rarely gets people that actually know how to duel within execute range. I feel like vs a similarly skilled and leveled player that is on Dk, sorc, or warden it's just no contest right now.
@Robert-pt2jz jabs isn't meta right now and yes the sustain sucks, class set from IA jav into beam is super strong, just heavy attack scribe spammable jav beam. I only use my jabs when I have a dedicated healer and rolling with my friends. Granted there are better classes you can just cheese but what's the fun in that?
I was recently asked to PvP by a sorc while i was on my pve frost warden. The fight took a looong time but I eventually stunned him and he said he was stuck in one stop. Asked me how I did it. I wasn’t too sure but I think it was because of arctic blast. Stun at the end of ability.

The quote was something like "Ww aren't starting until x stops stewaming." My thing is, games like ESO who have such a strong core of mega high spending players don't need positive attention as much, which is why every ounce of critique matters. If you love a thing, stand up and speak when something is wrong or nothing will change.

Meta warden uses fb mech acuity, bb wretched, ms balorgh. Paired with scribing charm script it is basically easy mode. Can wipe full groups..

@ well the latter I think has context that’s missing, the former gameplay changes didn’t affect most players and probably would be considered positive
