Street legal truck spectator drags at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway Day Of Destruction #2 with some rain to add to the fun. July 19th, 2015. Thanks to Beech Ridge and competitors!
Sorry about the glitch at around 8min. My camera splits up the recording into sections and when I combine them, it doesn't line up right. I'll try to avoid this next time.

@@jester4886 in the vids in the last couple of years hes the same one that drifts in the big black 2500. Dont tell me he doesnt know how to control a drift. I think used to drift an older black 2500 that he had before he got this white one but maybe that was someone else....

reminds me of the 4x2 Silverado extended cab short box rental I had in Texas years ago. Long forgotten experience. Man, I loved punishing that GM with some drifts.

Manual Truck Man that doesn't have Ls it's a vortec 5.3 there both built different the 5.7 in Ls1 is built totally different then the vortec 5.7 and the the 5.3 vortec is built way different then the 5.3 Ls4
Another randomchannel Technically I guess it’s not the same as a Corvette or Camaro ls But The 4.8 and 5.3 are still listed as LS engines just a variant of the original intended for the trucks and SUVs. And still very good engines And plenty to offer in the performance department.

Caliguylouie 84 Rules vary slightly by track but pretty much any street legal car is allowed. Bring a helmet, roll up to the pits and sign up.

Caliguylouie 84 At this track you just need a helmet and a registration on the car (oh and an inspection sticker if the state requires it). It costs $15 bucks for a pit pass to enter and sign up at this track, then you can go join your family on the front stretch for no extra cost (Pit pass covers general admission, so I normally race spec-drag then go park and join up with my family/friends in the stands to watch the rest of the events). General admission at this track is $10 bucks for the event, so $5 bucks to take a lap or 2 on the track even if you know you can't win is worth it.
This is why I don't buy used vehicles.
