I’m getting a new MacBook today..I don’t need it for editing or gaming, but for my bookkeeping business. I feel that the pro could handle my accounting software with excel, etc all running at once. This review helped me make my decision on the pro vs air! Thank you. Likely the silver, but I am getting a case for it with a privacy screen either way.

Space is more subtle looking. Silver had a more stand out appeal
Correction: It is $1,600 with 8GB of RAM. It is $1,800 for 16GB of RAM.
With 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD, it is nearly worth the price. Still has the port limitations. Better to get the M3 Pro MacBook Pro. All the ports, faster CPU, base 16/512GB configuration, and only $2k. Treat it like business investment in productivity.

I know the M3 chip is the best one, but should I also get 16gb ram to edit on After Effects? I rly didn't want to pay 250€ extra for more ram
get the M1 pro with 16GB ram (or more) M3 is not worth it. nor is M2
Just bought a lightly used one for 1,130 or so after taxes to replace my 13 inch original first gen m1. Hope it’s worth it cause I’m gonna sell the older model
Is it worth to pay extra from 1TB to 2TB for MacBook Or just get an external drive?
Personally got a 1TB with a 2TB SSD (£77) and it’s cheaper than upgrading but also got fast transfer speeds. I don’t feel like I’m missing out 😊
Get an external drive. If you work for a major corporation, the O365 gives each user 1TB of storage anyway. Only self-employed or side hustles need 1TB of storage. Even then, you have iCloud ($120 per year for 2TB) or O365 for additional storage ($70 annually for 1TB).

I'll never be able to afford one of the new MacBook Pros -- but given my workload were I ever to upgrade from my MacBook Air M2, a Pro would be overkill and I'd go with a Mac Mini or a base iMac at most -- but I'm still watching this (because it's a SoulOfTech video). 😄🤩

Peice is fair, m3pro 12c smokes up to UV 13700HX, m3max smokes desktop grade 13900k and 14900k's. Best design best Materials used, sexiest laptop, amazing display, best audio by far. Battery life is crazy.

M3 is garbage compared to M1 (way too expensive). It's unessecary. I have an m1 pro max and it's the best machine i've ever owned. 2 years later still flawless. literally no reason for anything more powerful, it. handles EVERYTHING you can throw at it without breaking a sweat.. apple made M1 too good. M2 and M3 are not needed for 99% of the population

It seems like you're trying to make yourself feel better for having an older machine by putting down the newer one. M3 is SIGNIFICANTLY faster than M1.
