Interesting how Richard has work ties to all these women. Sally turned him from Derf the Drag to Derf the Surf in Gidget. Of course, he won his own Oscar opposite Marsha. He nearly was in The China Syndrome with Jane in Michael Douglas' part. He was married to Bette in Down & Out In Beverly Hills. And he later did a play with Jill. Lucky women!
ASÍ ERAN LOS VERDADEROS "OSCARS"!!!. GRACIAS!,GRACIAS!,GRACIAS!. YO ERA UNA NIÑA,Y EN MI PAÍS,ESTABA EL GOBIERNO MILITAR,Y CREO KE LA PELÍCULA:O NO LLEGÓ,O SI LA PROYECTARON,FUÉ TOTALMENTE CENSURADA...!. SALUDOS EN OCTUBRE DEL 2024,DESDE ARGENTINA.DONDE LAMENTABLEMENTE,VUELVE A GOBERNAR LA ULTRADERECHA.😢.
A legendary actress in a legendary emotional film. A classic for the ages. Norma Rae to this day was what makes America great again having a union present the workers of America to be backed up by hard work and to fuckxcj the industrial part of things. But more importantly the courage she fought to bring us that Amen to that. Love it happy so happy☺️
Sally had already won the Emmy for Sybil but this first Oscar definitely helped her movie career. I'm a huge Sally Field fan and I've seen Norma Rae, Places in The Heart, and Steel Magnolias many times. This reminds me I need to see Sybil again.
One of the best movies ever Norma Rea played by Sally Field Loved it….❤
Thanks for uploading this, Sally Field was great in "Norma Rae"!
Richard Dreyfuss was looking so FINE during this time.
Such a phenomenal lineup of actresses and films to say the least. Way to go Sally!
Aww I cried a lil bit♥️ After reading her book I know how badly she wanted this. So happy for her!
Sally’s hair was gorgeous
This had to be a tough decision. They were all amazing. 😍🤩
“It was given to me ...” remains one of the best acceptance speeches.
Sally says it was a "gift given to her".

There is something inherently dislikable about Richard Dreyfus
She didn't acknowledge her fello nominees.
Well you can’t be perfect. She forgot that but this was a great speech.
They don't all do that.
