People that think Graduation is better than LR are correct. Higher highs by far. Its much more iconic and the vibe is better too, i prefer hype over gloomy. The rapping skill on graduation isnt far behind lr either. It has the more memorable lines.

I really love TLOP and I understand why people don’t like Yeezus as much as me, but I think that the sampling and production on this album is top notch, and I prefer the shorter album with less filler than the longer album with more filler.

@@user-ge5qz2rv7hThey are very different albums, Yeezus is an experiment in minimalism and industrial hip hop by Kanye, where as TLOP is sort of a mix everything Kanye had done up to that point, they’re not really similar albums at all, and Yeezus is better in almost every way. Like it literally has 10 tracks that are better than any track on TLOP, and it’s only a 10 track album.

It’d be like saying 808s is a new and improved version of Graduation, literally the only point where that would make sense is saying that Donda is a new and improved JIK or I guess if you prefer Late Registration, you could say that’s a new and improved version of College Dropout although I’d def disagree on the improved. Me saying Yeezus is better is just an opinion, and to explain how would take up too much time and you’d just complain about me writing an essay instead, because I literally can’t point out even a single aspect of TLOP I think it did better than Yeezus.

Late Registration is just the perfect KanYe West album, while The Life of Pablo is the perfect Kanye album if you get what I mean.
@mr.sociallyawkwardtheautho9311 well Late Registration has that significant old style soul sample Kanye West flair to it with catchy lyricism, tons of humor, lots of unique features & subject matters that Ye touches on while TLOP is basically very similar to Late Registration, but with a more experimental, more raw, more deformed side we saw from Kanye in years.
On Pablo, we see three sides of Kanye, the artist (Pablo Picasso), the religious man (Paul the Apostle), & the media icon (Pablo Escobar) where he focuses on various topics similar to his earlier work but with a more obscured focus on them. Songs like Ultralight Beam & FSMH represent the religious Kanye, Facts & Famous represent the media icon Kanye, and Waves & NMPILA represent the artist Kanye. By Saint Pablo it's an amalgamation of all the themes presented that was forspoken on the album. The album also touches on Kanye's waining mental health & his battle with bipolar disorder being emphasized with the 3 sides of Pablo.
TL;DR, Late Registration is the perfect representation of old school Kanye West while TLOP is the perfect representation of Kanye West as a whole.

I’m not gonna I liked Yeezus more than life of Pablo. Lop had great hits but the collars w daft punk are unbeatable and it feels more thematically grounded overall (tho some of those songs did age hard most of it seems to hold up well)
