Kanye and Common kind of fumbled it for each other lmao, both were same label reppin GOOD Music but they kept droppin the same year, they could have ruled 04-08 by winning straight years for College Dropout (2004), Late Registration (2005), Be (2005), Finding Forever (2007), and Graduation (2007), but they didn't space it out right and kept clashing in the same eligibility period, which is a damn shame cause Be and Finding Forever are FIRE as fuck albums, classic Common rappin over soulful Kanye beats. But then Kanye's first three albums are just pure art.... Should've shifted the release schedules, not their fault they keep dropping so much fire shit the same year
I’m a Ye stan and Be is one of my favorite albums ever. Idk why they had to drop at the same time. They did it again in 2007 with Graduation and Finding Forever. All I know is they were on another level at that time man. Edit: yeah what Thomas ^^^ said lmao
That’s the thing... the whole nominated albums were masterpieces but in 2022 listening to LR - As far music theory goes, it was clear off the rest. And I don’t even like Kanye West.
@@h6kz it's subjective, to me the massacre was better than LR, and we all know that 50 didn't get no grammys for his solo work cause of his content while kanye was the obvious safe choice, not taking away from his musical genius I'm just sayin even a blind man can see that shit.
