Totally agree flights are a complete joke I been going Thailand for many of years and I have never in my life seen flights this high. Tourist won't go back till those flights drop and yea the earcfoes not help. It's still risky flying.
Once the new fast train is up and running, I can see that Bintabaht, Poonsuk, Selakam 'pleasure' square gone and replaced with family friendly hotels and guest houses, giving easy quick access to the beach, particularly to the Thai Bangkok holiday makers. The foreign 'lads' will find their Pattaya type night pleasures in Soi 80 & 94 the other side of the tracks.

just booked my fight for june 23 ,its just been so much hassle and expense so far, and i still have to get the dreaded covid check for the thai pass,they are not making it easy for tourists , cancelled flights to look forward to ,will i ever get there
Hassle and expensive? I went in April and worked it out to be an extra $200 and that was with the Covid test which is no longer required.. it just comes down to how keen you are to travel. I know for me it was easy AF to organise..
