I was looking for a solution everywhere to see what's going on with my battery stuck at 0% all day. I watched that video to reconnect my battery. Long story short, the answer was Lenovo Vantage : I turn on "rapid charge" and 10 mins later my battery was fully charged (but I think it already was).
Is it normal that the ful charge capacity decreasing over its original design capicity over time? Even conswrvation mode is on and what is the safe cycle count of battery?
yes its normal. after a cycle count of more than 1000 the battery will start to have less and less available battery life, even if u charge it to 100%. rechargeable batteries everywhere does this, its nit exclusive to laptop batteries. yes also car batteries and electric cars (tesla)
Are the cooling fans on Y530 and Y540 the same? I own y540 and the fans require replacement, but I'm only able to find fans of y530 in the store near me. Can I use them instead? Because they look kinda similar. Will it work the same?

There was no blue connector on the right side, unless you mean the cable connecting it to the motherboard? If you mean that shiny blue thing on the left of the battery, that's the thermal pad for the SSD
Hello! I have problem with my y540. When I enter any game, it gets hot at charging port and it just stops charging (charging port checked at repair shop and they said charging port is not a problem). Should I try remove battery and test it without battery?
Actually that is not an adapter or charging port issue, it is a design flaw of lenovo where the hot air fires at that site making the plastic loose, which inturn causes minute sparks and heats up the plug, so to avoid this issue completely, use a match stick broken into the height of the charging jack of your charger not the laptop plug, so that the match sticks prevents the charging jack (the portion which is inserted into the charging socket) to completely slide in and prevent it from heating. Issue resolved 🎉
If you're still wondering, my Y540 came with 512 GB NVME SSD installed. The laptop has an additional 2.5 inch slot available, which I put a 2 TB HDD in.

If Conservative mode is on, then the battery won't charge past 55-60%. If you turn it off, then it should charge back to normal

Yes, it is safe. Just make sure the laptop is entirely turned off and be careful of static electricity.
