      @JewishGirlRox 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also curly hair styles for people with shorter hair! Your last curly video wasn't helpful for me...my curls were too short! I mean medium curls, shoulder legnth etc. There's so many videos only for black women but their curls are different than white girl curls which are looser. My curls are pretty tight, but not THAT tight...

    • @majordelilah

    Have you ever tried ways to style your hair that they used in the past? like those ribbon things they used for their tight curls in the regency era and whatever they did in the Edwardian era to get that big fluffy hair. That would be such a cool video!

    The "suction cups" you mention were sold under the name of "Spoolies" back in the mid-60's. (Yes, I'm really that old, and yes, I really enjoy this channel.) Girls seldom wore their hair as long as Kayley's is, and if it was that long it was supposed to be perfectly straight -- orange juice cans for rollers, for instance. The Spoolies were really easy to use but did indeed take forever to dry. I'd like to see more of the curlers that are all coiled up and how you actually got the fat straws to stay in place.

    • @chryswoods
      @chryswoods 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If you are talking about the drinking straws, she folded both ends in toward the middle of the straw and said she fastened them with rubber bands. If you are talking about the fat twisty straw looking things, they slide into the top of the hair section and then have a removable clip at the bottom that fits over the end of the twist. Oh and end papers that are normally used with a perm that can be placed at the end of the hair to keep it in the twisty. That way you don't get "fish hooks" or weirdly kinked hair at the bottom of the strand.

    Gurl! How much do you lift?
    No but your arm game within the last year 👌
    And Id like to see more styles with heatless curls. Like how to style them if they don’t turn out well (with and with out heat), what products to put in with them, how to make them last more than a day.
    Also summer hair styles, or simple styles that have the hair off the neck so hair and sweat just isn’t there as much. I end up wearing a French braid most of the summer and get bored by it. (I know other styles but they just take much longer)

    When your hair gets tangled , try twisting it one way than the other, and you’ll find which way the hair was wrapped and you’ll be able to undo it without ruining the curl !! :D

    • @dreandrada6027
      @dreandrada6027 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I've slept with straws in my hair and it's definitely not comfortable. If you lay your head down the straws sorta just stab you from all different angles. However if you can bear it, than in the morning you will have beautiful bouncy curls. Just make sure you have enough time to take them all out- it can be a process.

    I did my very long, ultra fine, super straight hair with straws in October and I LOVED IT. Took a couple hours, and I slept on them. And GORGEOUS! My hair is "hard to curl" type, so heat styling and hairspray absolutely don't work on my hair AT ALL. Highly recommend straw overnight curls if your hair won't hold curl or if you want to avoid heat damage. Plus, the curls lasted for days💖💖💖

    Hi Kayley, just a quick note for you. I grew up in the 70s-80s and tortured myself with the lovely pink sponge rollers. Just thought I should share that prolonged use will suck the moisture right out of your hair and cause a great deal of breakage. To be fair to the rollers I did use them every other night, so occasional use of the strawberries probably wouldn’t hurt as much. Loved the video!

I really liked the look and would love to see a video with more styles similar to that, using the section of hair between the temples. cj222100 The styling cream from Garnier Fructis “48 hour Curl nourish” works and smells amazing . My hair is straight , thin but SO frizzy it poofs up . What I do is I put the cream on while the hair is wet and braid it , then I put a hair roller at the ends so that it doesn’t dry straight . My hair’s really complicated but that product allows me to curl it whenever I desire so. Good luck

    Hey, I wrote this on one of your other posts yet I don't know if you read it. So just trying again, juuuuust in case ❤️
    I personally love whimsical and fairylike hairstyles. But those who aren't too extreme to wear to school or work.
    hairstyles for goin out clubbing, telling us which ones are flattering for your face(shape), you know.
    Also product testing or diys, but (very) low budget. I get that you use your fave products but I can't buy them, also because they aren't for sale in the Netherlands. Things that won't take to much money or time. Maybe a hair mask you can make at home or something.
    I loved your hairstyles inspired by movies or series. Awesome for dressing up parties.
    I'm just interested in prom hairstyles (and what dresses and jewelry you pair them with) those videos are so satisfying!
    I love the way you use accessories in some videos. The scrunchies or de ribbon. So cute. I'd love to see more of those. I think hair jewelry and accessories are so cute and classy.

    Okay, thank you first for using your sister in your videos so you can show us how to do the same styles on long AND short hair, which I appreciate SO MUCH! 😂 and I love your videos where you do celebrity hairstyles or characters like the decades hair. And I love the videos where you try products and tell us what you think bc then I know if it’s something worth buying off of wish or if I really should go out and splurge on something. I also love the drugstore videos

    • @sarahchappell16
      @sarahchappell16 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, In this video you mentioned how you lost a handful of hair, but do you not shed that much when you brush your hair? Bc I lose a clump just from brushing out my hair in the mornings (but my hair is also insanely thick, like insanely more than it looks bc I go in to get my hair done and I warn the hair dresser that my hair is going to hurt their arm and they blow it off like oh that’s cute this girl thinks she has a lot of hair and then they get about 1/4 of the way through just brushing it and then say dang girl, you weren’t kidding about your hair! No, no I’m not.. 😂) my hair dresser thins my hair out for me bc it’s too heavy on my head it will give me migraines

    The first ones you tried I bought on wish and decided to try before watching you. I love them. Use them every morning. Hair almost dry. If you wind up the ends first on the teeth, then be very careful when rolling to not twist and go right over the ends. I use hair dryer quickly over the rolls. Then do exactly the opposite when taking out. Takes just minutes.
