    I have the Revlon Dryer and medium length, really thick, and curly hair. It is a total lifesaver. I love it so much and it’s the only blow dryer that doesn’t make my hair look ridiculous. I love these videos so much!

    I love the Revlon one step dryer! I have long, thick, wavy hair and I can actually get my hair from pretty wet to dry and styled in 20-25 minutes. That's a miracle for me! I agree about the heat though, but my hair can take it and I don't use it everyday. AnnaLaura should give it a try!

    I love how we get to see on short and long hair. I've tried doing a fishtail braid and a French bread and no matter how hard I try I suck lol. I love how the Revlon blow dryer made your hair look when you were done.

    I have used the revlon hair dryer for almost a year. I love it. I use it on low and to me it’s not as high heat as the full power setting. It’s a lifesaver for my thick wavy hair. I only wash my hair maybe 1-2 a week so it doesn’t bother me at all. I love it!

    Ok DayQuil Kayley is my new fav. Also, I think the fishtail braider could possibly be helpful for someone who has some sort of physical disability? It might take some work and practice, but it looks like it could be done with one hand. Glad you showcased that one because I think although it might not be helpful for most of us, it could be useful for someone!

    • @alexandragatto
      @alexandragatto 5 ปีที่แล้ว +13

    I have the Revlon volume dryer and medium length fine but curly hair, and I absolutely love it. The heat doesn’t bother me too much, using a microfibre turban my hair and it’s dry enough I can dry and style my hair in under 10 minutes. The heat works for me especially for how quickly I can get through it. I do agree though that what could improve it is better heat control, including better cold settings as well. I haven’t touched my flat iron since getting it.

      Heather Noel I just cut my own hair that was almost to my hips to a long bob. I slightly am upset because it was a mistake that was made by my mom. I decide to fix it myself which I shouldn’t have but now I’m happy with it (kinda of)

      I freaking love my short hair! I got it chopped off about 2 years ago and I've kept it short ever since. There have definitely been different short styles I've like more than others but I feel like it's better short seeing as it's cute, easy to wash and requires 0 effort in the morning

  • @neptuneesk9760
    @neptuneesk9760 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I’ve had the revlon dryer for probably 1-2 years and I absolutely LOVE it. I have medium length, fairly thick hair with body- if I don’t do anything including brushing it then it dries wavy with frizz, but if I brush it then it dries straighter with some waves/bumps towards the bottom and some frizz.
    I’m not great at styling my hair so I love that it makes styling it super easy and makes my hair feel really soft. What I usually do is use a regular blow dryer just to get things going a little bit and speed up the process. (I tend to be in a rush in the morning.) Then I use it to finish drying and style it. I don’t spend tons of time with it close to my head so I don’t notice the heat, but when I do want to get closer to the roots it does get pretty hot so that’s a fair assessment. It doesn’t really bother me though.
    What I really like is that it smooths my hair so it’s not wavy in places I don’t want and keeps the frizz to a minimum all day. The number 1 reason I love it is because it helps straighten and smooth my hair WITHOUT losing volume, which is what happens when I use a flat iron. Irons make my hair too stringy and thin looking. This keeps my hair looking full, shiny, and smooth all day. I haven’t used a flat iron since buying it. It was by far one of my best hair purchases. :D

    Yaaas my queen Kayley reviewed the Revlon Hot air brush finally! If you think I ignored all the other reviews and waited for you to finally do one before buying it, you would be correct! Also, as a side note, I just want to say how much I love seeing you so happy and in your complete element working with Anna Laura. Somehow it feels like you are the most genuine you that you've ever been on here of the years, and that's saying something because I've been loving your videos from the day I discovered them several years ago. I'm confused. The Revlon One Step does have different heat settings? Cool (high air pressure, no heat), low (medium heat, medium air pressure), and high (high heat, high air pressure). I have thin, bleached hair and use it daily on the low setting. Takes me literally 4 mins to dry my hair and no damage from it.

    I love the Revlon One Step Volumizer. I have a short bob that's grown about three inches since I started using the dryer. Since I use it after my hair is 75% air-dried, I don't have to use it for long, even hair so thick I have to do three sections-with an undercut. The other tip for the heat is to alternate between the high and cool. The cool setting is the same air speed.

Also, I've decided to start using earplugs because it's pretty loud. My sister is deaf so I may be a bit hyper vigilant about that issue but it is pretty loud right next to your ear.

    I used to have one of those butane curling irons. I last used it on my last trip overseas when I arrived in Amsterdam to freshen up my hair after being on a plane for 9 hours. It didn't smell great. It made this low-grade, continuous wind noise while it was on. It was the best and only option in its day. This was 2000. I had one in high school, which was late 80's early 90's.

    I have psoriatic arthritis and the Revlon one step has been the only way I can dry my hair and get volume. (Can’t hold a brush and dryer at the same time). I only use the high setting if I’m in a hurry, but prefer the low setting. I then go through my hair with the cold setting in order to prevent a psoriasis flare up on my scalp. Try the low setting, the product is such a time saver!

I remember the add for it; a lady was sitting in passenger seat of a convertible car, hair blowing in the wind and she was curling her hair on the go. I thought is was quite nice to be able to style ones hair on the go, free from the cord.

    I really enjoyed the video! So many tests in one. Great!
    I also use the Revlon hair dryer. I blowdry my hair first to about 2/3 dry with a regular blowdryer and then use the Revlon for volume and shine on the low setting. On high, I feel like my hair is going to burn off 😂

    Great video!
    Can you test more products, similar to the video when you tried out Coco and Eve, rose oil, etc?
    Thanks Kayley!!! Supporting you always!!

    I love my chargeable flat iron. I use it in my car, yes even while driving when late for work and I am just doing the ends, without looking and no brush (don't do this) and people look at very confused

    I didn’t realize you’d never tried the Revlon brush!! I have really course hair, so I have to use the high setting. My tip: I use a heat glove because it really does get hot on the high setting. But it’s soooo good!! Your hair came out adorable!

    I have a similar one, Dr. Knot, and love mine. It took some time to get used to the oval head, but after a day or two and I was off to the races and using it everyday! The only downfall I have noticed is the tiny spindles mixed with the brush have started to wear out and become tiny tangles if I’m not careful. But I will get a Revlon one to replace this one since it’s cheaper than my Dr. Knot!

    You cut your hair about the same time I did and I’m loving the mix of short and long styles in your videos lately!! Side note: your makeup looks stunning in this video

    I have the Revlon and it is the best tool I've purchased in a long time. I own a t3 blow dryer and I stopped using it because I love this brush so much.

    I use the Lange blow dry brush. It is amazing! My mom can do a full blowout on herself, in less than 15 20 minutes. With the brushes, they work much better when you wait until your hair is more on the damp side. With the heat: use a high heat setting until the plate heats up then switch to a lower air pressure setting. The cord is VERY long. I also use the brush to control oil on my roots. Recomend it for every hair length.

    I love love love mine! it used to take me almost an hour to dry and flat iron my hair and with this tool Ive cut the time in half. It gets my hair so straight and voluminous while accentuating the layers i have. it's even great to smooth out my bed head in the morning. Your sister would actually really like this tool cause my hair is long and it works so good. It definitely gets really hot so i just make sure i dont have any jewelry on cause i've learned how to maneuver the tool to avoid too much heat on my skin, I just wish it had a longer cord

    I have the Revlon Dryer and always use it on the low setting- because that alone is hot enough! I usually let my hair air dry 50% or blow dry it upside down to 50% and then use the brush on low. Also I upgraded to the Hot Tools Black Gold Charcoal Infused One-Step Blowout which is about double the price and looks/ preforms pretty much the same but is smoother on the hair, gives you smoother hair, and the hottest heat setting isnt so hot. Also all elements feel higher quality, which is strange because the body's look almost identical. I would say try the revlon one if you're interested if its on sale but ultimately I really recommend the Hot Tools one if you're going to use it frequently.
