Thanks for watching!
Thats a bad idea you can tell the upper control arm hitting the coil.you should change the upper control arm about 2 inch or longer spindle .. i install it in my truck and tthe ride is wiered thats why i take them out... be safe
I does put a little more stress on the control arm but I have never seen any issues after they have been installed.
Nice video,Do you like to do car tools review ?
Thanks, I would like to but I haven't yet, I've just showed the tools in my box. Are you offering?
Haha that’s great that’s what I did after I striped the end of the sway link
Yah, those nuts can be a pain.
Good video
Thanks for watching!
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS well I’m glad that I watched your video because I had the tire shop install that for me because I also bought new wheels and tires put on my 2018 F-150. I’m sure that I could have done the lift kit myself, there’s actually a lot of stuff to do and plus they did a front end alignment after the install. So by watching your video I now know that I made the right decision to just have the mechanic do it for me. I’m starting to get to that age where I just don’t feel like farting around with stuff like that anymore. You know what I mean? Life is to short and I have found that it’s better to just have a professional do it. Thanks for showing me all the stuff that was involved in putting a leveling in.
Happy Holidays
Youre removing way too many things
That what people tell me. How do you do it?
No matter what she says, an additional 2 inches means a lot.
LOL!!
You got an apprentice 👍
I don’t think he’s a apprentice,he looks like a master mechanic to me,fully trained a long time ago
This is his truck, he was my apprentice 8 years ago, now he is one of our best techs.
Dai Bennett what I inferred was Brian is describing the steps and matey was doing the work. Like having an apprentice 👍
He had all the parts loose already before you did the video
Just the sway bar mounts.
You called it a shock about ten times, but it's a strut
Actually, I am right, struts are used when there is no upper control arm in the suspension design. This truck has upper control arms.
Actually your wrong. A strut is a coil and shock together in one unit. It goes up in the upper control arm in a f150. It goes right up through it
@@dillhole3852 sorry, you are incorrect.
A shock assembled with a coil spring is called a strut.
@@dillhole3852 not in this case, it’s a coilover shock.
Found out the hard way don't go with 2.5 inch
Oh no, what happened?!
