Hi George, I'm Rob C you meet in Baileys Lane, talking about the duck decoy. Great to meet you, I was star struck. Awesome blog, keep the good work. Typhoon took off at 09.05 back to base.
Hi rob thanks again mate for watching was great to meet you to Ill hopefully take a look at the duck decoy next week aswell Glad you enjoyed the video mate
@Yodaspirit45 i still to this day also call it speke airport I remember an old mate of mine got a job in there back in the 90s it was a whole different place then looked like a chicken shed lol
Was lying in bed recovering from cream classics and they flew over ours (Mackets Lane) really low . Never has someone with a hangover jumped out of bed so quick 😂
I saw the Arrows landing at Blackpool Airport a couple of years ago. They did the same arrival maneuver then. Must be their standard approach. You got alot better footage than I did George with or without the audio 👍
Boss when they land isnt it smoke out then breakoff Thanks for watching glad you enjoyed it the camera did go a bit wierd sometimes i think they were just to fast ha ha
I've only just found your channel when it appeared in the YT recommendations. I love it already and have subscribed. The footage in this video is fantastic. I actually live near the airport and I missed seeing the Red Arrows. The Typhoon took off this morning and I only knew from the almighty sound it makes. I'm off to explore your other videos now. 🙏🏼🙏🏼Thank you.
Thanks for watching glad you enjoy the content i have lots more to come thanks for subbing aswell Glad you enjoy the footage i work near the airport so im always looking up into the sky at planes ha ha That typhoon wow the noise its something else Enjoy the other videos!
I restarted flying lessons after a 25 year hiatus and last year, I was fortunate enough to see the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight do a fly-over, join the circuit and then land at Runway 27 at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (EGGP).
Thanks stephen glad you enjoyed it mate I was bloody livid ha ha but the second day saved it i just needed to go back and refilm ha ha Thanks again mate
Great footage. It's hard to believe the Hawk T1A is nearly 50 years old and still flying. They were likely headed back to R.A.F Scampton from Woodvale air show.
Hi kenny i have been many moons ago and do plan to go again thing with that place now is parking its a nightmare which puts me off but its amazing isnt it
@@g2emedia1977 yeah parking is a bit of an issue, we usually stay over in the hotel on the lake further down to get an early start before people arrive but yeah it’s a cracking place 👍
Dunno if it's of interest, but next time you're in that neck of the woods check out bits and bobs relating to the 9-foot Giant, John Middleton - "The child of Speke" - the pub in Hale is named for him, his grave is in the churchyard, the house he was born in has a plaque and there's a statue of him up too (used to be two apparently).

Great that George. As a kid growing up in Speke in the 70's and 80's, the airport used to have an air display every year

These lot almost gave me a panic attack when the flew across my house. I felt so relieved that it was just the red arrows.
