The bitter sweetness of their music is so moving and profound - really all of it. This video really captures their essence, i think. I love it at age 52 and so does my son at age 14. Wow. Believe it or not - I picked up on this band from paul krugman's blog. How geeky is that.

They very much have a 70's west coast singer/songwriter vibe to them a la James Taylor/Christopher Cross/Todd Rundgren. If you listen to the Bridge on Sirius/XM - they could get away with playing any of their stuff and nobody would probably notice lol.

for the past 6 years, On weekends my dad, little sister and I go out for drives around the older parts of town and get coffee with this song and others like it playing as we ride along old local businesses and neighborhoods with visible age and character. I'm very thankful for the memories this song is a part of.
