The Bananarama version of this song is ok, but I like this better because it is the first one I heard. There was something special and different about this sound in 1969. Great reaction. In case you didn't know, she doesn't/didn't speak a lick of English and sang phonetically. The fact that someone can sing in another language and not even know/speak it was a surprise to me the first time when I discovered that a Japanese singer performed on the Complete Les Miserables 3-D set in the role of Eponine.
