GnR was never one of my favorites, but it's still the favorite band of one of my closest friends. I've come to appreciate them more and more each year! Try Patience, Don't Cry, Estranged, Civil War, Paradise City etc for other great songs of theirs. Knockin'on Heaven's Door is a Bob Dylan cover they do and is amazing.

I felt that they were overrated when they first came out. I mean, they were good (Slash is phenomenal, Axl's voice is great), but not as great as what others thought. Always appreciate your honest reactions. So many channels seem to "absolutely love" everything and that can come off fake.
