Max returns for some more modded Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, this time checking out the long-awaited addition of Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil 4, coming in hot with his roundhouse kicks, sniper shots, and suplex slams!

If another MvC or a Capcom All Stars game ever happens, and Leon is in it, I think it would be funny if Ashley would walk around in a similar Delilah/Bedman? way. She wouldnt fight or be damaged, but could react to the fight

I'm really curious how Chris and Jill have been in MVC games but never Leon or Ada? Obviously, Leon's RE4 iteration is perfect for a fighting game with his ability to roundhouse a Ganado into the stratosphere and suplex cultists, but Ada could be crazy too! Just imagine her zipping around the field with her zipline, and she's also an agent, so she has to have some martial arts experience
Its because when Marvel 3 came out, RE5 was Capcoms most successful game so they put every RE5 character in
Supposedly he was really considered for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom but I believe the director of the game or someone in charge really wanted Frank West in there instead which -- sorta makes sense as Frank West/Dead Rising being a bit more tonally goofy makes it match Tatsunoko a bit more. Likewise, when MvC3 was in development RE5 was the most recent entry in the series and was on its way to being the highest selling Resident Evil game so it made much more sense for them to throw Chris, Jill and Wesker into MvC3 instead of Leon.
I'm hoping that if there is another MvC that they'll put Leon in it instead of Chris but if the timing is around the RE5 Remake I can totally see them just putting Chris in the game again lol.
It was on Re5 timeframe and they chose to put frank west instead of leon sadly

Honestly what had me most hyped watching this was the remix from snes's "Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage". It's perfect.
It's a really good remix of the boss theme!
So I see at 7:24 Leon has kept some of the benefits of having been infected with Las Plagas, that super human freak.
Characters are not just functions, it's insane what modders have been able to do with Palette Swap. Leon is so freaking cool!

A dope ultimate to have with Leon would be if he summoned the assistance of Ada. Maybe she drops him a rocket launcher.

on a side note, I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but it would be a fun touch if the modders could alter the apprehended/slain poster since we've gotten some of those characters added in now. obviously not necessary, but could be cool, dunno
Search up "UMVC3 Days of Modding Future Nexusmods" for the stage having the apprehended/slain updated.
I love that in this game leon is by far the puniest character yet he can suplex anyone, good times!

But thanks to modders he’s now a mod in UMVC3

I mean, this modder is so good. The character has the same quality as if made by the devs
I think Up rifle should be an assist, OTG or Forward Matilda should be another, and the parry the third one, kinda like the Maya shield that PW has
They should make a move where Leon just kicks a door open on the enemy

Okay, this is a long shot, but can anyone who plays this game tell me what the name of the track playing in the background is called? It's the boss fight theme in Spiderman and Venom: Maximum Carnage and I'm shocked to hear some kind of interpretation of it, I'd love to find it!

the animation is correct it's just that the opponent is facing the wrong direction... unless this is a different type of suplex i am not aware of
It's more based on the OG RE4 suplex (belly to belly).

@@nesmario123 probably like in the remake, initiate suplex prompt behind a stunned/kneeled castle enemy.
@@nesmario123 In the OG you can only do it to the cultists in the castle and the guys on the island. The kick you can get off of the knee shot turns into a suplex on those enemies.
