Yai Boon's life has been a difficult journey. Her last job was at an elephant camp in Pattaya. Even in her frail old age, she was required to work. Her teeth were missing, which made it challenging to obtain enough nutrients from a spartan fare. She became quite thin and weak. Yai Boon had fallen down many times, even during work.
Feeble and no longer a healthy specimen, as well as facing criticism from clients, the elephant owners no longer wanted to care for her any longer. The owner contacted Save Elephant Foundation for help to take Yai Boon to the Sanctuary at Elephant Nature Park.
Yai Boon now has a best friend named DiPor. They enjoy doing everything together, ambling about from mud pit to riverside. Yai Boon's health has improved dramatically, both physically and mentally. She presents herself as a proud and beautiful elephant again. Learn More: www.saveelephant.org/

Oh Yai Boon, you poor sweetheart 😭😢 I'm just so grateful she was rescued from that hell & brought to a place where her life has completely turned around. And she has a wonderful friend in Di Por who herself suffered a life of hell. Bless these darling girls & bless their savior, ENP!!! 🙏❤🐘

I can't understand why someone would do an animal like that it is beyond my comprehension but thank God that there are people like y'all who care enough to go out of your way to help poor animal elephants are one of the most intelligent creatures on Earth possibly even smarter than a horse or dog and people mistreat them as well God has a special place for people who take care of animals you guys keep up the good work God is pleased at what you are doing and so am I my college football team is the Alabama crimson Tide their mascot is an elephant elephants are dear to my heart along with all other animals thank you all once again for all of your hard work and a job well done

entertainment or for rides is evil
God did not create elephants to
be misused ! Justice will be harse

Her journey may have started early in her life . Many are ripped away from their family herd while still young! God's wrath will be upon
those who abuse these innocent creatures . Karma !!
All captive elephants are ripped away from their mothers when young. All of them were forced through Phajaan/Crush/Torture Training when young, at the same time as never seeing their mothers again. When man chose to reject his original design as Creator made him, to alter himself and his children, he altered his neurology which corrupted his thinking and his "heart," and cruelty entered in.
