cok tesekkur ederim hocam!!
My super favourite turkish drama series is Kadin. Character : Bahar, Sarp, Nisan, Doruk, Arif.
Very good teacher
I really frustrated 😔 today,,, when I used a word during a business meeting
'' ✖️ minnetkarım" and it was wrong the correct word is "✔️minnettarım"
and it is not commonly used ☹️ for appreciation
You are absolutely right. If you are an Arabic speaker, the word comes from Arabic word minne(t) (e.g. ene memnun). It means I am grateful. We use it when somebody do something really important for us as a favor when we really needed that favor and feel like we owe them. For simple things we just say "Teşekkür ederim" which is also Arabic. There is no Arabic verb in Turkish, but there are many Arabic nouns and we generally use an Arabic noun adding a Turkish verb, generally the verb et-. Some times other verbs for example with cevap (cevab) we say cevap ver- (give answer). We also use Sağ ol which is Turkish and literally means 'be well' (I wish you wellbeing or wellness) for the meaning of thank you.
completely understand. I'm just starting Turkish and i'm trying to keep ekmek and etmek apart.....

Hello, my native language is Turkish. And I want to learn english. We can practice if you want. If you want to learn Turkish, I will teach you. And you teach me english, my friend. Does anyone want to learn Turkish?
I want to learn Turkish.
There is a silent V in the word
"Sevmem" it was read as "semem"
Am I right ? ❤️
not silent actually we use v, it's just bad pronunciation
Turkish is phonetic language that means the sound v makes will be same in every word it won't be silent it won't be changed
As a Turkish person, it's "sevmem". While reading, we use "v" letter. I hope I could help :)
*Please do answer*
Which phrasal verb are used for this sentense:
If soneone invite us to a party then how to make it using phrasal verb.
Call in - to invite someone
Then how it's as opposite
How can say someone invite us using with phrase.
How am I supposed to remember these? Should I write it down?
Try throwing the video at flying cars, that may help
Merhaba , meu friend !!! 👋 😘

I am a native Turkish speaker and I want to let know people who are trying to learn Turkish that this is very bad Turkish. Please don't learn anything from this video. These are literal translations from English, they are not natural and there are some mistakes.
Konuşma dili ile yazı dili farklı.Çeviri daha farklı:=) Mecaz kelimeleri bilmeden Türkçe nin duygusunu anlayamazsın.Sana hak verdim.

I would like to add this comment: the Turkish people are some of the most forgiving and understanding people in the world. Studying the language again, I cringe thinking how badly we G.I.'s botched up their beautiful language. I'm sure they silently shook their heads in despair, but smiled through it.
I appreciate it
Mennetkarim!

it isn't 'minnetkarım' it's 'minnettarım'

We hardly ever use present simple on speaking language. For example you can't hear that ''Ben İstanbul'da yaşarım.'' ''Ne zamandır görüşmeyiz.'' when you speak with a Native Turkish speaker. If you listen them carefully you'll hear ''Ben İstanbul'da yaşıyorum.'', ''Ne zamandır görüşmüyoruz.'' But it's only on speaking language. If you want to write a formal mail or something or if you'll make a formal dialog, you'd better don't using them. I tried to translate it English I hope you understood. Good luck!
Thank you for your clarity ❤

Merhaba
Wait a sec... I thought goodbye was hosca kal?
You can use both görüşürüz means see you later and hoşçakal means goodbye
hoş = pleasant / fine
hoşça = nicely / engagingly
kal- = stay
gör- = see
görüş- = meet
görüşürüz = we shall meet
I don't like translating things considering their common usages on other languages, so I'd love to inform you about what they actually mean
