Finally we get a 3DPrint slicer on the iPad! It's something I've been thinking about for ages now. It means we can go directly form Nomad to Pikaslice and off to the 3DPrinter without needing that pesky desktop. Just a point of order, it's for Resin printers only just now.
This is a nice slicer. Have used Lychee and Chitubox, but prefer this one. It's very smooth and having it integrated on the iPad is great. Only wish it would provide internal supports on hollowed out projects. Or if it does, I haven't figured it out yet! The price is more than reasonable. It's a great deal for a wonderful program.
Very cool, now we really could do all steps on the iPad from sculpting to slicing! But is there no undo button or gesture in this app or am I just blind? That would kinda kill my workflow...

Yays have been waiting for one. Literally everything is in one very capable package. As an aircraft engineer and CAD capable, looking then to scan and reverse engineering, I've just started the sculpting angle because I've just realised rather than scan, copy to CAD and STL, I can scan, clean in Nomad to CAD or straight to STL. Is the scaling issue factors of 100 out only? Also have a peopoly sat in corner.
yeah I would love a one time price. I get they can't make as much money though. its just a burden when you have everyone moving to monthly or yearly fee models, and I don't make money form my hobby, haha. great videos though, Glen! thanks for sharing! does it have different base options? for example I think yours connects to the build plate via skates, but can you remove the skate? (am I making any sense? im a noob)
I think $3-5 is great for a monthly sub price if u try for a month and don’t like it cancel and move on. A lot of hard work,none of us want to do, goes into these awesome apps. Support the developers!!!!
I noticed you could add a custom printer and thought it was that simple, then I would be able to slice on my iPad for my filament printer. Whoops, not possible ever. This happens when your new to the field and are desperately trying to source a slicer for your iPad and filament printer. I thought it was a great video just the same.
Pricing.... you're slicing a model made in Nomad Sculpt I see; how much do you pay per month for Nomad Sculpt? I expect you use Procreate too? How much are you paying per month for that? There is a reason why so many people use Procreate and Nomad Sculpt... because not only are they great apps, but you pay for them once (and at a reasonable price tag) and that's it. Subscription? Yeh, I'm out.
As I’ve already mentioned I’d much prefer a pay-per-export in the way a lot of scanning apps do. Subscriptions will always drive people away and it’s a choice every developer has to make and gamble with. I imagine a lot of people will think like you.

Looks impressive! Even has blockers to use when hollowing... I love Lychee but having the option to slice Nomad models on the iPad is pretty crazy :)
I'm fairly new to this program. How are you making the 'toolbox' for quick access to commands?
