    I’ll be glad for explanation about sizes. For example: how to export model to STL to get resulted print with 5cm height

      Will do, that will be in next video I put out on 3d printing.

    Thank you so much for the help because I'm planning on doing digital sculpting for dinosaur and dragon action figures and statues and that was really helpful because I'm planning on getting a 3-D printer soon

    Can this be done to fill the center of a hollowed out object? How can you make sure your stl object will print without a bubble of liquid resin in the middle?

    Hey! How are you? I recently saw your video and it really helped me, but i wanted to know if you knew why when i export to obj (cause i want to 3d print in rhinoceros) the file is too big, like 1,4 gb big and the program crashes with that much info, so if you knew how i could make the file smaller? Thanks!

    How would you change the model to the size you want it to be before printing?

    • @aefoundry
      @aefoundry  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would use a software like blender or zbrush for that

    Do I need to merge all my layers together?

    Can you email stl files from an Apple IPod? I want to email a project I did and send it to my desktop so I can tweak it in fusion 360 before slicing. I’ve tried emailing and it says I can’t add stl file as an attachment. Maybe I’m missing something?

    • @aefoundry
      @aefoundry  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You should be able to, unless the size of the file is too big, you could email a google drive link or a storage services like that, so who ever you need to download it can have access to it.

    If you’re not merging shapes and just caulking like with clay do you still need to go into blender if it’s a complicated clay sculpture so to speak? I’m going to be using a Saturn to print. Thanks!

    • @aefoundry
      @aefoundry  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As long as each piece is water tight and has no opening then technical yes. But using blender will allow you to keep scale uniform incase you need to make and further adjustments

    • @aefoundry
      @aefoundry  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As far as I am aware nomad just scales at its default values. You can actually measure in blender.

      @@aefoundry what dose water light mean?

    • @aefoundry
      @aefoundry  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ShadowExtremeEX8 water tight not water light. It means the mesh is combined to one piece, no holes or intersecting pieces.
