In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Silent. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. You just replayed the first part of Raiders of the Lost Ark with those first two events. Grabbed the golden idol, triggered a trap, then a thief tries to grab the idol from you.
Once again you see there is nothing you can possess that I cannot take awa-🔪😵
Nobody is going to talk about how insane that heart fight was? Smooth stone + Caltrops came in insanely clutch!

I *just* finished watching a video of yours from two years ago to get a better idea of how to use grand finale, and as soon as it was done, this was recommended to me. The finale is calling to me.

you should try a run where you take every single deadly poison you have access to, upgraded or not
before watching this video i didn't know that grand finale was a playable card

Really enjoyed this run I love close calls I really thought there was no way you would won against heart
for a silent on fatal activation card I had a neat idea. It shows an additional card at the card reward for the next combat. Some neat interactions I thought of, first is that combats without card rewards like end of act 3 or the first coliseum fight would build up extra card rewards especially with multiple copies to get more kills and see more cards. Given how I worded it prayer wheel would only get the benefit on its first card reward. This card would be weird because it would be far more of a snowball effect but would fall off sooner than other meta scaling cards. I think it would pry be like 1 cost exhaust with more damage than a strike. If you got this from a starting benefit thats probably another 3 cards seen minimum before the first elite. It seems like an interesting card but def doesn't fit spire 1 perfectly.
Note: I said spire 1 cause I totally think this could fit into an ever so slightly ethos that spire 2 could totally do.
1:54:28 why the shield attack point from 21 to 9, it's loss 12 damage!
It took 8 damage off the base attack but you see the buffed damage (+50%) because he was facing away from the shield

Why does Nob gain 3 Strength but does 4 more damage?
You have to account for both vuln on the player and weaken on the enemy. Accounting for both the damage is increased against the player by 9/8 or 1.125. So an increase of 3 strength increases the damage against the player by 3.375. Depending on how this adds to the rest of the base damage which is also scaled by 1.125, you will either see the rounded total damage go up by 3 or 4. And, in fact you can see the number go from 24 to 28 to 31 which is an increase of 4 and then 3.
