Brute Bonnet is a big reason I believe the theory that the “Time Machine” is actually a sort of “dream machine” that made these theoretical Pokemon the professor thought they might find real. All the future paradoxes have wildly different backstories but all have the same designs of being small, highly metallic and featuring colored plates with white speckles, then there’s Roaring Moon which resembles a phenomenon that doesn’t occur in nature, Brute Bonnet resembling a tool that hadn’t been invented yet, and Sandy Shocks… existing at all.

@@axolotlgamer2831 ok, and? The creator of modern pokeballs could just be inspired by foongus regardless of if the originals look simmillar or not, maybe older pokeballs being simmillar was even used as an excuse to push foongus' design onto the ball, as foongus' gen 9 entry (forgot which one) talks about a rumor that the designer of the modern pokeball really liked foongus.

my major counterargument is, if it is an imagination machine of sorts… where did the professor go? and the end of the story, they use the machine and are sent through time, how would that work if it wasn’t a time machine? did they get sent to an imagination dimension? it just doesn’t line up to me.

I mean they're called paradox Pokémon for a reason, not that they're made from a imaginative Pokémon, but that the time travel implications caused massive changes in the past that it impacted the present.
There was another video that implied that brute bonnet originally had no pokeball design, but implied that the time travelling pokeballs were superior predators that just snapped other Pokémon out of existence, forcing the evolutionary trait for brute bonnet to use a pokeball design as a defensive mechanism, which is my favorite theory of them all at this point

If the whole fungus-on-a-dinosaur theory was true, then explain Sandy Shocks looking so primitive. Your video just filled in the missing puzzle piece for me. The reason why these mons go traditionally unnamed, are detached from the modern evolution lines and their relation to “regional fakes” / why RFs were introduced this Gen in the 1st place.
Bc paradoxically they represent all those things. They are both evolutionary separate but also the same (just as the RFs) they don't have traditional “names” to highlight that very detachment.
Its also why the box ledgendaries went from being w those generalized names to more traditional ones. It shows that even something unreal/ detached can become the paradoxicaly the opposite depending on your POV
I believe the 3rd legendary created these paradoxes to represent everything that the region has to offer. including all it's contradictions
