    Something I kinda figured out about 3 of these past paradox Pokémon
    Flutter mane
    Scream tail
    Sandy shocks
    The reason they aren’t past versions of their fully evolved counterparts is because these Pokémon evolve via artificial means
    Jigglypuff evolves using moon stone
    Misdreavus evolves using dusk stone
    And Magneton evolves in a magnetic area or thunderstone
    All using outside factors to force them to evolve

    • @AlexMartinez-gv7hy
      @AlexMartinez-gv7hy ปีที่แล้ว +24

      I wouldn't say artificial. Artificial would more likely be like Onix or Scyther evolving because of the metal coat which seems man made. Pokémon that evo using evolution stones are using infinite energy that been trapped or charged within the stones. Same goes for Magneton, it uses. High amounts of magnetic waves to fully fuse into one being.

    I believe the first magnemites/tons/zones came to the world of pokemon way before the time period of the legends arceus, as there is a magnemite depicted in the X/Y ancient war cinematic that happened 3000 years ago (when AZ tells the player about the ultimate weapon), so the idea of they going back to a prehistoric period makes sense

    My guess is that a colony of magnamite crashed landed long ago, thanks to their ability of magnetism, they gathered loose sand particles to appear as Sandy Shocks does. Over time, there magnetism weakened, and so they began to hover like shown in the present day. Also, it might be that Mount Coronet and other areas like the charged cave in Unova might have a magnetic meteor buried within, which is why they release high amounts of magnetic waves.

    There's a theory going around where the "Time Machine" that Turo and Sada used is not actually a Time Machine but a Machine that can create something based on someone's desires. It kinda explains why Paradox Pokemon, mainly the future ones look like that. They're meant to be exaggerated versions of Pokemon from the past and future based on how Turo and Sada saw them.
    Yeah, there is a hole in the theory being the sightings in the Scarlet and Violet Book.

    • @panopticpunk
      @panopticpunk ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @Cristigoga8447 is right - there has never once been a Pokédex entry that states magnemite are man-made. In fact, in red and blue, the Pokédex states;
      "Uses anti-gravity to stay suspended. Appears without warning and uses Thunder Wave and similar moves."
      And in stadium they said -
      "Appears as if out of nowhere. It floats using anti-gravity and discharges electricity from two side-mounted units."
      And here's where it gets REALLY interesting. Check out magneton's entry's.
      Red + Blue - "Formed by several Magnemites linked together. They frequently appear when sunspots flare up."
      Yellow - "Generates strange radio signals. It raises the temperature by 3.6F degrees within 3,300 feet. "
      Stadium - "Formed by Magnemite that link together when the number of black spots on the sun increases. Fires high-voltage power, etc. "
      Ruby - "Magneton emits a powerful magnetic force that is fatal to mechanical devices. As a result, large cities sound sirens to warn citizens of large-scale outbreaks of this Pokémon. "
      Sapphire - "Magneton emits a powerful magnetic force that is fatal to electronics and precision instruments. Because of this, it is said that some towns warn people to keep this Pokémon inside a Poké Ball."
      And last but not least - Violet. - "They're formed by several Magnemite linked together. They frequently appear when sunspots flare up. "
      So - it DEFINITELY sounds alien to me - or, in a more likely case - an alien drone/A.I., sent out to scout other planets, and send back the data it collects. But it seems like something is blocking those signals, (possibly the power plants and other electronic devices getting in the way) and the Pokéarth's gravity is too stonks for them to just leave and fly away - they're just kinda stuck here. Stuck here to be captured, imprisoned, medically experimented with on a consistent basis, and forced to fight for the enjoyment of the dominate species (Poké Humes) on that particular alien plant. So yes - i believe this is less of a theory, and more "unconfirmed fact".
      ESPECIALLY since it wouldn't be the only alien Pokémon in Red/Blue/Yellow. (Clefairy and it's line are aliens. As are Staryu and Starmie. Clefairy and it's line come to Pokéarth on meteorites, and no one knows how the Starmie/yu's got there, all they know is that they're star-shaped, and their seven colored core emits radio signals into space at night. Staryu behave similarly, gathering at night and flashing their red cores to communicate with the stars.)
      So uh... yup. Definitely alien. Dunno if it's an A.I. or just a drone, but.. yeah.
      👽Definitively alien.👽

    Well, we know Magnezone needs something special to evolve, a special field of energy, said field of energy is only in some of the regions we know so far, such as Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and ORAS Hoenn.
    While GF then retconned it to "thunder stone" which is a bit boring but less of a pain I can imagine, here is the idea, Magnemite and its evolution may be from space or our planet, but here is the thing, Magneton needs something special to evolve !
    It is possible than in the past, this ressource was rare, or even completely inexistant (as you know, the world wasn't maybe 100% like what is depicted in game back in the day)
    Meaning Magneton eventually turned mad because he wasn't able to evolve, after all, Magneton attracts stuff to it, so after its magnets got filled with stuff, it progressively turned him more aggressive ?
    I'm not so sureat the end to be honest, but what I ca, say is maybe Magnetons get mad after ten thousand years

Maybe tons of Magnemite were brought back in time through those time space distortions some even so far back to when past paradox pokemon roamed the earth. It's possible the magnetic field in the area these Magnemite lived was special causing the Magnemites to go down a different evolution path into Magnetribe (Sandy Shocks) but were unable to evolve further due to this interaction with this magnetic field. Eventually either these pokemon died out or over time evolved into present Magnemite.

    What if instead of the Sandy Shocks dying out and being replaced by new Magneton, they instead did evolve over time into the modern Magneton that then get sent back in time again and evolve into Sandy Shocks, making a full loop. No evidence of that detail and it doesn't really change much or add to the theory, but it does make it just slightly more fun and weird with the time travel stuff. If you wanted to go even further you could say that all magneton evolved from sandy shocks and vice versa instead of any others originally coming from space. That would obviously create a bit of a paradox as there's no real origin for them outside the loop and no start to the loop where they didn't exist yet, but they are a "paradox" Pokemon after all. That has even less likelihood or evidence, but it's a fun enough baseless theory, and magneton is just weird enough biologically that it's theoretically possible to make that idea work, unlike the other paradox pokemon

    My theory for this is that sandy shock is the natural form of magneton living in the wild for extended periods. That it magnetism pulls in those electric sand and compacts them into its own magnets. While magnezone only exists because of non natural elements and exposure. In this case Earth's intense magnetic zones or a thunder stone. Its threw this exposure that magneton can reform into magnezone and gain the power to use its magnetic capabilities to send out radio waves.
    Now to how they got here. It's probably a mix of space time distortions, landing on earth like a probe, and /or ultra wormholes. Outside the ultra wormholes we don't have any real proof these pokemon came threw the space/time distortions from anywhere but earth. So the idea they were purely just plucked and placed onto earth doesn't feel right. But if an initial amount just appeared landed onto earth at some time period and then threw their existence at all time periods are somehow involved with the space time distortions (like somehow their magnetic waves can cause on to start) then that can explain how to kinda just appear and how they are related to the past and future mon.

    • @TNobody0214
      @TNobody0214 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also if that's the case. I could extrapolate that means somehow the magenmite line somehow can interact with the space time trio or act like receivers for them. Which just opens the whole discussion on the idea that they could be dialga's or palkia's form of unknown. But at that point that's way to much speculative theory craft.

    I have good theory about the origin of the magnetite maybe it was originally created in an era of space colonisation as an artificial Lifeform created to explore the universe as a hivemind and to find viable natural energy scorces that humanity could use to move on to there next destination but along the way a lone magnezone got separated from its group and ended up sucked into a distortion in space and time ending having its dna spread across the Pokémon timeline with all its original programming still intact which is why magnezone in modern and ancient times still try’s to send signals to its original hivemind despite it not existing in the point in time it now finds itself in

    It did bother me playing through Legends Arceus that they insisted on keeping Pokemon like Rotom and Magnemite around. I know they're Sinnoh Pokemon, but they didn't do a lot to justify the presence of a living light bulb in a land devoid of electronics

      By all notes.
      Magnemite existed 3000 years ago during the Great Kalos War, and Rotom may just be a ghost with uniquely electric powers.

    gamefreak might later bring ultra beast back? maybe if so live where ultra wormholes are beside aloha the radio waves mix with energy of the wormholes, necrozma will heard the pokemon wish to return home but cause a connect between worlds.

    Paradox Pokémon are one thing, but that TV commercial is a _real_ blast from the past… 💾

    think it's less of they even existed in the main timeline and more of another one, it's in the name, paradox. i think they come from another timeline entirely, not in our past but another's like maybe it's a case of the time machine picking primal pokemon from another past seperate from the main past. it would make sense since they're treated as new species, no evolutions, just similarities so striking they bare resemblences to what their present forms could've been. as for the future one same case, future can be changed easily with how the present works but the past remains the same. TLDR paradox mons likely come from different timelines seperate from the main one of the game's so different past and futures where those mons happended to exist during those times.

    They’re Ultra Beasts, they didn’t exist until Heath brought them into the world with the Tera legendary

    What if Magneton is the natural form of the Pokémon but because of the weird magnetism of the Pokémon world they become Magnemite and Magnezone

      I thought of it like this:
      *Long in a different dimension, humans are more advanced then present day humans In so they created magnemites and it's evolution line. Until Palkia and dialga started to fight*
      *Due to this fight, the whole magnemite line was sent all around the world, and some even traveled into the long past.*
      *Without magnets and metals in hand, the magnitons have evolved to be more active on the ground, using the remaining metal from their bodies to create Sandy shocks.*
      *Others followed up with this idea, and soon Professor sada opened up a portal where multiple Sandy shocks were captured. And sent over to the present*
      *The ones who weren't captured disappear from existence due to the metal's rust or decomposing away*
      *As the non-pladea magnetzones are trying to communicate with their homes, the paldea magnetzones are trying to communicate with the Sandyshocks inside the creator, having a feeling their bortherings are still their somewhere*

    My Opinion is Sandy Shocks is the Original and the Ufo/Alientheory is wrong. Why, you may ask? Well one of Magnetons Dex entries describes how if they split the continue to live on as a magnemite and then it struck me: Sandy Shocks IS Its primal Form. Sandy Shocks has a Tail, Two Magnetfeets and Black Stuff ....whatever it is. Over time Sandy Shocks began to shorten their legs and started floating because of the increase of magnetism until after every change in his appearance and body he turned into magneton which caused the existense of magnemite

      I thought of it like this, to be honest:
      (Since I'm not writing all of it again, I'm going to copy and paste it)
      *Long in a different dimension, humans are more advanced then present day humans In so they created magnemites and it's evolution line. Until Palkia and dialga started to fight*
      *Due to this fight, the whole magnemite line was sent all around the world, and some even traveled into the long past.*

    I could believe that Sandy Shocks came from the past. Just because it's metallic doesn't automatically mean it was man-made. The main reason I think this is because it's covered in Magnet Ore, or Magnetite.
