As a 49year old man, DM has been my favorite band since 1986. Seeing this reaction has warmed my heart The timeless eternal that is Depeche Mode will live forever!
Depeche is the best there was, the best there is and the best there ever will be...we are now in 2023.,were there any better live shows in 89/90? i can still watch, listen to 101, and it is still fantastic...no drums, Alan...and Fletch ..DM FOREVER.
A great and fabulous live show ! 101 was the final concert from the Tour for the Masses live in Pasadena Rose Bowl. First time they played in a stadium… Thought there were about 65.000 people ! It was a great deal at that time a live location that wasn’t used for concert since a long time… so many people didn’t think DM could play there and fill the whole place with people ! THEY DID IT !!!!! And their faces, smiles, they was very proud to play ! They told of lots of technical problems… and also with the stage that was SO HEAVY the crew didn’t could raise it ! They must called, and managed to have a crane to hold it at the last time…
the best life band is DM and it will ever be. The spirit, the band, the people, the music, the vibe, each concert was a big party, with a lot of friendly and helpful people. It is extraordinary to be at a concert from DM❤🧡💛💚💙💜

The smiles they have are from the fact that this was the biggest concert there I think ever! Having so many people there for just you is exciting! Hell I am still pissed I got grounded and couldn't go with my friend and his dad! I was like 13 at the time and this would have been the biggest and best thing in my life ever!

The anticipation and excitement of the crowd, the interaction of Dave and Martin, the live sound of their songs that you just don't get anymore (you'll see some of that genius when you watch Stripped)... Their style was so good then, and is so good now. PS wear that hat when you listen to "Policy of Truth"
One of the best things about Depeche Mode concerts is the crowd, they would throw inflatables on stage especially. I vividly remember someone throwing an inflatable banana on stage for Andy fletcher, since he loves bananas 😂😂

"welcome to my World",,,, now you see that live versión, i think sounds better for me than the album take, for Us, the DM fans we know how to act in every song, becouse every song had a simbology and we all act igual in the stage,,, for example in Never let me down again, at the end of the song all the crowd, are hands up, balancing from left to right, and in a general take looks luke the wave of the ocean, it s just amazing,,
Depeche Mode defies many people’s preconceived notions that an electronic band can’t be exciting, captivating and entertaining live. Depeche certainly is all of those adjectives and more in concert. They have been good enough live for me to have seen them 15 times.
these young people were invited by depeche to go along the us tour in their own bus there is an extra DvD included in the box set you should look at it ;)
i hope at least on your own time you watch the whole documentary, I've watched it so many times over the years..Own it on Laser Disc and Dvd..havnt got the Blu Ray yet but eventually..

@@SephPlays No, I went with my girlfriend ( now wife). The day started with Wire, followed by Thomas Dolby and OMD. What a great day!! I’ll never forget using the bathroom on the way out. There must have been 100 guys all peeing at the same time in a giant long urinal. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Personally, I prefer the studio version with the official video directed by Anton Corbijn; the black and white video's so aesthetically pleasing. Dave's at his best, hairstyle and fashionwise; the lady behind the wheel looks very chic; Martin, Alan and Fletch, in the background, look great as well. I love the lyrics; I love the music and I love the video. 100% approved. BUT I do admit this live version's quite good. Anyway, I like your enthusiasm for Depeche Mode.
