I remember when you could jump from the platform. I think they are getting rid of the jumps because people like to dive in those areas. It is a very beautiful spring. Thanks for watching! 🙂
I hope you are able to get inside the park. I am not sure if it fills up fast on weekends like some of the other springs. It is a beautiful place! Maybe go early as a just in case. Thanks for watching and good luck!
We have been here a few times and never saw a shallow area. I called Fanning Springs, and they confirmed that there isn't much of a shallow area. If you bring them floats or pool noodles are definitely recommended. Bronson Blue might be a better option. They were only open on the weekends last time we went, so call ahead and get there early. 🙂
According to the site primitive camping did not allow cars to be parked overnight. If you are staying in the cabins you would be allowed to overnight park. I guess this is for people who are arriving by boat, hiking or bike.

We felt that music we did use for this video went with the water theme. Best bet if you don't like the music, just watch with subtitles. Fanning Springs is a really beautiful park and definitely worth a visit.
With any water in Florida, including the ocean, there is a chance for gators. You can find them in the woods. We always say swim in clearwater, with crowds, and know your surroundings. Springs are just like oceans and forests. Wildlife exists, and you just have to look out for them while having fun. For the most part, snakes and alligators don't bother you. This is a beautiful spring to visit. Thanks for watching! 🙂

Been to Fanning several times in its rental cabins. Great state park. That pulsating. "music" pretty much ruined your video.
