Haha thanks Jake! Yeah big one this week for sure
Terrible video terrible trabajo ,hermoso por donde lo mires, felicitaciones,Tj Mac muy pero muy bueno👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🍻
Truly the best build ever on this channel!!
Thanks Nate ! It’s pretty wild
Don’t you mean, best build on any channel??? 🥵
Agreed. I'm currently accumulating parts for my 67 C30 build, and this is Hella inspiring. I can't wait to start.
Haha the "get yelled at by the misso counter" has a few strikes on the whiteboard 🤣
Loving the build! It's going to be a weapon! 🚙💨
18:08 is when I first noticed! Must have a few home runs with the numbers on the scoreboard 🤣
HAhaha it hasnt gotten smaller thats for sure! Been some long nights in the shed 🤣
What an absolute feat of engineering by you and all of the boys who helped out. The skills of all the cutting, welding and re-engineering of all the parts is second to none. You must be one happy camper of how the build is coming together. Can't wait for the 44inch subs to in the tray. LOL😂
It’s certainly been a tough build ! Thanks for watching 🤩 can’t wait to get more done soon 💪
This build and uncle pooly’s baz are some the best builds on TH-cam. High quality and lots of thought going into them. Love seeing you work your magic Macca!!
Can’t wait to see the Ktruck vs BAZZ 🤩
Thanks mate! Definitely learning alot on this one! Next one should be easier!
the best TH-cam 4x4 build in Aus at the moment. Good information, great content in a cool easy to understand way.
not filled with just grown ups acting like 12 year olds.
Awesome work
Thanks so much Jeremy ! Certainly a big project this one 😅
That's mental Mac!. Can't wait to see it finished.
Very impressive. For someone who has no mechanical knowledge, you do a great job explaining things. Good stuff gents.
Thanks mate! Plenty and plenty of research! I did also build elevators for 15 years (not just wire them up) so that helps i think haha
thanks for the breakdown at 17:35. I genuinely needed this to understand what was happening :p
Haha yeah bit on with that front setup haha
was tossing up sasing my pj ranger this may have convinced me
This is the sickest build currently on TH-cam, I can't wait to see this thing flexing on the tracks. Love ya work boys 🤙
Thanks Zac ! Yeah imagine this thing all crossed up 🤩 gonna be ballistic
Sick ep!!! Steel-It works great but it is all in the prep. It sticks better to the material when prepped w/36 grit or grit blasted. Just coated my front bar w/it. Cheers!
Ah awesome feedback thanks sam!
I’ve got a 3 link suspension wheelchair (NitroCircusWheelz) & now I want build an old normal wheelchair into a 3 link. Watching your channel helps heaps. Cheers from Tville love your build mate :)
Thanks so much mate 🙌
Damn Brother that is some incredible engineering to accomplish what you've done thus far. Outstanding episode!!! Shed Life never fails to deliver. Kudos.
It’s a big build this one 😅 thanks Mike 🙌
This build is just freaking awesome man…love it.
Love watching Mac just explain shit hey hahah makes it very easy to understand what's happening and why
Cheers mate! Im useless with technical names but good with the basics of how things work i think haha
What a build and not even done yet 😮
I need to be there when you take this thing out to glassy 🥳 solid effort boys on everything soo far 🙌🏾
Haha Straight up big red for first drive surely 🤣
Hey Maca mate, you've given my old boy inspiration to start on his 1988 ford f-100. You're an absolute legend. Cheers bud! 🤙
Bloody awesome to hear! And a great classic truck to!
Great piece, thanks.
This is exiting can’t wait for the next episode
Not usually one to comment but had to for this one boys... OMG absolutely froth this build. Macca and Simmo putting in the work on the big jobs 💪 well done keen to see her rolling
Thanks jordan! Cheers for watching and commenting to mate apreciate it!
Awesome episode guys can't wait to see it finished 🤘🤘💪
Thanks Graham 🙌 same here mate 😅
DOM Tubing is famous here in the states. The lift on my truck uses DOM tubing for the cross member drop bracket. Buddy of mine has made radius arms, control arms, shock mount brackets; strong stuff.
Yeah new to us but loving it !
Definitely seems to be the go!! Keen as to test it out!
Luving the build Mac!! Already frothing. Needs bigger pots to push that beast weight your strapping onto it. Rock on
Haha not wrong! Cheers!
That's why you boys are TH-camrs and I'm not...the amount of experience and skills with all you boys together is world of knowledge....I'm fully into this build like maccus I'm loving it....don't know what life is like behind the scenes but for me having so many obstacles thrown in the build I would of flipped probably having neighbours 3 doors down finding spanners in there yard from a major dummy spit.....awesome videos boys....
hahahaha Thanks mate i can definitely confirm this episode nearly broke me 🤣 I was going to bed at 10-11 after the shed still thinking about how to make things work, was starting to feal defeated than a few small wins just kept me on track!
Going heaps better now though the hard stuffs done haha
Such a sick build, has the cool factor for sure. Cheers from NZ
Thanks Roy !
Unreal build,what a weapon
Well done guys great justification on the suspension,i do this on my raptor thats got 60%of is new cost in mods that havent been used i sold it to the misso to get them apart form the performance mods as she is a rev head so win win.
Haha no brainer 😝
Loving the build mate, are we gonna see some shed life k truck merch? Can't wait to see the finished truck!
Thanks guys ! Nothing planned at the moment 🤔
Hands down best episode period!
I don’t really comment on TH-cam, however, this is absolutely epic fellas. I mean, I enjoy the builds you guys pump out, but this is next level. This build is a monumental task to get right. Bravo fellas, bravo 🤙🏻
This old dawg is hanging for the next episode, my hat comes off to you 😎
Thanks mate! Definitely one of my biggest builds to date and i dont just mean the height haha! Im working hard at the next ep as we speak!
love the vid boys, keep up the good work. the coil overs and the triple bypass shocks are the bit of the build
Thanks Alex ! Yeah it’s a big build for sure 🤩
Nice work man! That's unreal
This is bloody awesome! Literally so cool man, hope you are proud!
Thanks so much ! It’s certainly been a big build to this point 😅
What an awesome build. Keep it coming
Thanks Craig will do mate 🤩
This is a major build dude, Jesus you’re putting in some work! Mr Dimebag
Has to be one of the best Aussie TH-cam builds happening at the moment. Solid effort lads 👌
Thanks Jamie ! Certainly a big build 😅
Best quality content on the tubes.
This was so satisfying to watch well done I really enjoyed watching this episode thanks for the detail you must be very proud as we all are 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much 🙌
Kustom old cars are hard work mate! Just remember the end goal and it makes it all worth while, keep grinding 🔥🔥
Thanks mate 💪🤩
Ill be happy if i dont hear the word or see a grinder again after this one hahaha Hope the travels are still going well mate beers when your back next!
Going well mate, doing some work in SA, definitely be swinging around when we get back
It's almost 6AM in the states and I have work at 7 lol! This episode is LIT!!!!
Haha thanks legend ! Yeah it’s coming along , can not wait to get it on the road 🤩
Great video Guys👍👍
Thanks Richard !😎
Have to say boys, one of the best ep's I've seen. Keep up the great work, keep up the detail and why's. (K the explaination on steering bars and coil tower install, took some referencing after, but learnt alot from it). Keep up the good work. When you guys get to "setting shock valving" can you give us a "how to select how to pick correct shimming/valving" really struggling to find someone who can offer time to explain and actually knows what thier on about
Keen to see this thing for real.
Much appreciated! Yeah I’d say we will touch on the shock tuning a bit when the experts are playing around , shall be interesting getting to test it 😜
Definitely! However ill definitely be bringing a proffesional shock tuner or someone with experience for that one! We can all learn together haha!
Magicians man. 👌 sick build.
Mint mate!
I’m bringing back “Bloody Nora”!!!!
Can’t wait to race it on the beach Mate😂🤪🤠
Keen haha
Bloody oath lads. Yet another banger 👌 loved seeing how many times the misses has yelled at Mac on the board 😂
Gonna need a new pen soon 😆😆
Should have pre heated the cast diff housing 2 different materials cool at different rates causing the weld to crack
Its definitely not the direction I saw the truck going but its turning into an absulte weapon.
It’s a big project for sure 😅
This is sick! A wicked different Build here in Aus!
Certainly been a tuff build so far 😅 thanks !!!
Watching this in Bali…. how sweet it is… love ya work boys
Thanks mate ! Have fun 🤩
Jelous! Love bali!
Awesome build guys
Thanks !🤩
YESSSS!
Indeed 🤩
Insane stuff!
Well cool build series Mac. Love the way u love to learn stuff. Glad u guys are doin well. 👍🍻🎯🇦🇺
Thanks Andrew! Just need to tool up more now! The problem with learning more is i want to do more 🤣
I'm not sure about the actual ratios but the cummins 5.9 and 6.7 love to sit on around 1500 at highway speeds. I guess you could work it out backwards from there to find ratios? I did also wonder why you didnt triangulate the front links instead of panhard, but i guess the deep cummins sump will bugger that idea lol.
Loving the series guys, keep it up. Cheers
Cheers for the info daniel! Ill work back from that! Also 5 link is alot easier to get engineered here in the front!
Definitely the best video that you have put out, fuckin love it lads keep it up
Haha thanks Aden ! It’s a big build !
Absolutely insane going to be sickkk
Can’t wait !
Bloody epic!
This things insane, complete weapon 🤘🏻
Bit on ey 😂
love the KONE shirt rep, small world
haha 16 years with kone!
@@macpreston hahaha mate! I bet you could smash out some AMD's quick smart. 6 years for me
might be the best conversion ive watched
Thanks Sammy !🤟
Ugh so so good I would love to have a project like this … such a great watch fellas
Still cheaper than a 79 👍
Thanks Luke ! And na … unfortunately it prob won’t be 😅😅😅
Do a shed tour please love the vids ❤❤
Thanks Nicholas ! We did one kinda when it first got built
In between all the killa builds can we have a mad dash budget build minitruck and drag the ass off it 👀 keep up the good work lads 🤘🏼
Haha I’m all for that 😝
Hahaha Dont tempt me 🤣
Hey bro, weld a big peice of angle onto the side of the chassis in front of that link mount for the hoist leg
That’s a wicked idea!
3:5 gears on that with 37s would be my choice
D O M. Drawn over mandrel. Improves strength and safety. Eliminates the weld seam from rolled steal pipe.
So sick! I’m going through the same stress atm. 2 steps forward 10 back. Trying to fit big things in small areas 😂 I dunno why we do it to ourselves 🙃
😆 good luck ! It’s gonna be the same dramas no doubt haha 😜
Cut front gaurds and lengthen them like you would a tubbed car and ad middle section to keep factory look
Keen to be part of the shedlife club!
🙌
Awesome build guys.
With changing almost everything, was there any thoughts of RHD conversion?
I did contemplate it for a minute, but i still like the fact that its a classic american car so sort of deserves to be left hand hook!
Yeah she’s back mate
Shit yeh!
Yeeewwwwwww
Not sure about 6bt but I do Cummins as in n14, gen2 and egr models in trucks love revs opposite to cat engines
I love everything about this and off Road truck with more horsepower than it deserves I actually wanna do something just like this with my With my 90s F150 if I get one and go overlanding.
Oh definitely thatll be a kool build!
Gday, well that’s a bloody massive achievement there Macca, what a mission to get that to all work in together and there no way as long as my ass points to the ground I’d have a go at building something like this, great job mate and something to be proud of, cheers
Thanks MATTY ! Yeah he has been losing sleep over this build 😅 coming along now though 😂🤩
Haha cheers matty! As tj said defintely lost alot of sleep and some hair i think lol Im keen on the challenge tho!
Love the video
Thanks William !!
He'll yeah been waiting 4 this 1 👆 Yasss 👍
Thanks mate 🙌
How mad does that bonet look.
Just a quick question why did you not change it to right hand drive?
But it was another awesome movie guys 👍🏽
Thanks Jesse ! I think Macca loves the left hand drive as it is an import
Wouldn’t feel the same if we converted it 😝
Exactly as tj said, i still wanted that american classic fealing!
This is the one. Best episode yet.
We need a left hand down shirt.
😅 has a bit of play in that steering I reckon 😂😂
Bloody oath lol cheers for watching mate!
How’s the tube work skills 🤘🏽.. give Pechy a hammer 😂😂
Haha 😝
I'm subscribed to a few channels but wasn't really sure which was my favourite, I'm a tight ass with coin and i just signed up 20 bucks a month to be a member of ya club so I guess you guys are my favourite 😂
😂 thanks so much for the support legend 🙌
Good work mate question are yous coming to the 4x4 show in Sydney
Prob not this year sorry mate !
41:59 that is tough! Keep chewing!
4.56 gears and 37s. Killer down low crawl ratio, Good top end on the highway in OD.
4:56 is like Gas engine gearing.
@@riverratt8626 Gearing should be determined by tire size and keeping engine in peak operating RPM range. It has nothing to do with Gas vs Diesel.
Maaaaaate love ya work so jealous
Thanks Paul !
So now that the k trucks coil SAS is almost done and was such a joy and a breeze 😅😂😘 Next up must be the surf/lux surely, and superior jumps on board and makes the best SAS kit on the market for Surfs… Pretty please 😂🙏😘
I’ve been hinting this to Macca for months .. I don’t usually get a response 😂😂😂
Haha ive been dodging this for as long as i can lol engine swap first i think!
Mate, next time I need coilover hoops I know who to come to😅 Awesome episode!
Haha 😝 I think Macca is has retired his hoop building skills done so many 😅
Make sure u bring 20 metres of tube to make 2 🤣🤣
@@macpreston Jeez, 20m is a bit light on. I was thinking at least 30m worth?🧑🏭
13:33 that's a called a bushing Macca.
Noooice 🎉
What length pro fenders you running boss?
where can I get one of those calendars? seen behind you around the 6 min mark. otherwise bloody sick build man
Its from office works! Super handy! U have to add the dates and days tho but atleat you dont need to buy a new one each year!
@@macpreston haha 😆 I’ll give it a go man
🔥🔥🔥
tuff
Who would of thought these boys just started off doing missions in to glassy and bribey to giving away new Rangers and 79s
Pretty wild times 😅
That looks awesome mate. Only question I got is there will be flex in the front hoops meaning you Probly won’t unbolt cross braces when cars on ground tho you think?
I dont really plan to unbolt it when its on the ground! However ive since gusseted the tubes so i dont think it would flex to much! But good question ill sus it out!
@@macpreston sweet as. Other than that. Wicked build mate. Love to see it finished :)
1 step forward 20,000 steps backward 😂
What a project 😂
Make sure you do some arb head studs on that motor. 6.7s are notorious in the states for head gaskets if you don't
Yep already on!
2000 series i beleive off memory
@@macpreston good deal
Justified!
😝
Boy math wins again haha
4.10 with 37s will be ideal if your turning up the power even a little..
