Or we could have episodes following Wario and Waluigi as they try to pull off one of their schemes, and miserably fail. You could have Easter eggs in the background, like seeing Mario and the gang doing something that happened in the last episode, and seeing Wario and Waluigi in the background of that episode so you’d know when an episode focused on them is coming up.
@@theredmm9688 Theu could do that and later transition into getting thier base abilites kind of like how Mario goes from a fire flower to using his natural Fire attacks.
I really like the idea of Bowser Jr trying to live up to Bowser's reputation. If it were up to me, I'd have it so that if Bowser came back the conflict wouldn't be Mario vs Bowser, it would be Bowser vs Bowser Jr as they would absolutely have different ways of making plans, and that's what would foil them in the end.
@@cosmicspacething3474 Good point! Hopefully the Koopalings haven't become too saturated from appearing in lots of games recently, as there's definitely room for funny scenes and dynamics with them
Plus bowser would have different ways of getting rid of mario gone are the days of him planning over complicsted plans and now with the just killing mario.
My idea is to have Bowser as a villain for one season and Jr for the next for Bowser to return after that season after Jr’s character arc. It doesn’t seem right for Mario’s main arch nemesis to be completely absent for the shows entirety.
@@thecreatorofpc7929 That's probably the only way, but just make it the general beat while everyone dances in the background. Remember the Sponge Out of Water credits? Something like that could work
I think the music for the intro should be modeled off of the SM3DL remix of the SMB theme (seen in 2-3; the level where you travel across large 8-bit sprites), also heard as the sky bonus theme in SM3DW.
I feel Bowser could work good as a villain who is not treated as some big bad serious villain and instead more of a joke villain way past his prime like in the Paper Mario games. This more funny and charming Bowser is the one I like a lot more anyway. You could still have some big serious threats like you mentioned in the video ,characters like Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings but I feel the show would benefit from a good comic relief character that you can pity.
Capn Crunch Master I feel that would also work good but I feel making the person you’re pitying shouldn’t be one of the main characters and also have some evil intentions so you don’t mind always seeing them at the butt of the joke
I love how he was portrayed in Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story. A big, thick-skulled Goof, but at the same time an absolute powerhouse that will destroy anything that stands in his way. It was an interesting balance. He is incredibly powerful, but he's held back by his short temper and foolishness.
This is so epic! Just the other day, a Discord friend and I were discussing how awesome it would be to have a brand new 2D modernized Mario cartoon created by Nintendo themselves and they air it on television. This could easily be your best video. Can't wait for the premiere!
As a big fan of the DuckTales reboot, I feel like its approach to episode stories and fanservice would be a good route for the Mario series. _Edit: By fanservice I mean things like references, cameos, and easter eggs_
I have so many ideas for easter eggs if this show ever became real. Imagine they're walking through a forest and in the background you can see Geno for just a split second. Or they encounter Birdo for the first time and accidentally refer to her as "Mr" and "SIr" in reference to Birdo having male pronouns in Mario 2. I Think the easter eggs should be somewhat obscure references like old characters and odd tidbits of knowledge.
Ducktales also manages to pull off an overarching storyline well, it's like Gravity Falls. They set up plot points that they come back to later in the season.
When he said "take aspects and characters from all sorts of media" I instantly remembered Ducktales and how it takes stuff from the old show, the comics, video games, etc.
I dint think I like that I think I'd prefer if they had colored accents on their shoes somewhere like on the rubbery part at the bottom the whole shoe being that color seems a bit strange to me
My idea for a Mario cartoon: Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Daisy are the main characters, always having to thwart Bowser. Meanwhile, Bowser Jr. wants to be just like his dad and does his own scheme with the koopalings, which goes horribly wrong. For the B-Plot, Wario and Waluigi are always trying to get money, and they do it in a way that affects the main plot in several ways. edit: wrote this years ago, nowadays i might write it a bit differently but i still think these ideas are cool
@@themightygallium9509 i guess, i wrote this over 2 years ago, my idea of what episodic plots for childrens shows could be was a bit limited then i do remember wanting to have a running gag of Waluigi really liking Poodles, if that means anything, lmfao
Having Wario and Waluigi be sub-plot character could be amazing, especially if they are comedic relief. Like Bulk and Skull in the original Power Rangers or Team Rocket in Pokemon. They slow the good guys down but are generally a harmless threat.
I’d honestly love a Mario cartoon in a similar style to Adventure Time. Having multiple different worlds each with their own set of characters and having certain episodes dedicated to exploring those worlds and characters, maybe even having earlier seasons have a more silly tone and get more serious as the show goes on while still keeping some of its more silly aspects.
I honestly don’t feel serious and dark tones would fit a Mario cartoon (especially if you’re using Adventure Time’s tone as an example). But I feel it would be perfect for a Zelda cartoon. Especially if it uses a wind waker art style!
Rodrick Goldberg I don’t know. I think it would be interesting to see a Mario cartoon with a more serious tone but still with some silly elements. We’ve never really gotten anything like that before and I think it would be interesting.
Kirby Over Yonder Actually... Mario has been serious plenty of times in the past. Mainly in the RPGs. Remember the Shroob invasion of partners in time? Or how about Super Paper Mario, where Mario was literally forced to travel through HELL. Including swimming in The River Twigz, an alternate version of The River Styx!
Rodrick Goldberg I haven’t many of the RPGs so you have a point there, but I totally think cartoons can have drama and story arcs. Adventure Time, Avatar, Gravity Falls, Star Vs, Steven Universe. All of these shows are loved by both kids and adults.
"You can now get Cable TV channel subscriptions through Nintendo EShop! We will start with the Japanese Golf channel for $29.99 per month but more to come for realz lol"
My ideas The villains from Mario and Luigi should appear as secondary antagonists throughout the series Bowser would be like how he was in Mario Galaxy, hammy, but still threatening and serious. Wario and Waluigi would have roles.
@Pally Dan Everyone keeps forgetting that Tatanga exists, because we haven’t seen him since Super Mario Land (well, besides appearing in Smash as a spirit).
Paul Gilbert Well, there are more Yoshis than just THE Yoshi from f.e. 64 DS. But I honestly don’t like the idea of him being a pet either. They can talk in all of the RPGs, they’re clearly just as sentient as any other Mushroom Kingdom inhabitant.
Yeah, I could see it as him always disliking Mario but really he's just kind of a goof, compared to the other villains who are much more of a real threat
As a big fan of Wander Over Yonder before the show ended, Lord Hater was my favorite character, if there was a cartoon, that would fit Bowser the best. The Super Paper Mario bowser was the one i liked the most out of all of Bowser’s personality’s I miss Wonder Over Yonder now :(
I have a dumb little episode for the origin of Mario: Mario & Luigi are low-paid hardworking plumbers with their own plumbing business "The Mario Bros." in Brooklyn (it can be New Donk City). They barely get any work due to people confusing their names with their more successful rivals, "The Wario Bros." who are sucky, but rich plumbers. Meanwhile, on a late night in the Mushroom Kingdom, Princess Peach has a major plumbing problem with Piranha Plants, so she orders the Toads to find some plumbers in New Donk. They go to the Wario Bros. where they're forced out 'cause Wario & Waluigi don't feel like it and want to sleep. So, they go over to the Mario Bros. who take the job immediately. Mario & Luigi are totally not expecting Little Shop of Horror creatures when the Toads said they had plants in their pipes, but they do some funny shenanigans to beat the Piranha Plants. Peach hires them as the royal plumbers and offers to pay them a lot of money and a house at the Mushroom Kingdom. They agree and as they're packing up their old business, Wario & Waluigi snoop in and learn about how those small guys with the big heads actually worked for a rich princess, and now they want some of that mulah too. So, the rest of the episode could have Wario and Waluigi trying to clog the pipes up, first with piranha plants, and then with whatever means necessary to try and convince the princess to pay them instead, though Mario & Luigi keep on coming on top in the end. I don't know what the climax would be, but that's essentially it.
That would be a neat idea. I also have a Mario origin story to come up where: Mario started off working as a carpenter who constructed buildings and deals with hazards. He did the job very well until he read the newspaper, stated Donkey Kong (or Crankey Kong as what Shigeru Miyamoto officially confirmed) got released from the circus and kidnapped Mayor Pauline, which Mario wasn't interested at. That's until Crankey goes on the donk rampage throughout the city as he went to the construction site where Mario is working at and started to take over. Mario saw Pauline in trouble and decided to go save her (and he's also a rookie at that time, which means he wasn't experienced with falling in heights, hence the death sequence in the original arcade game). After the events of Donkey Kong with Mario got fired for the damage of the construction that Crankey had caused, he started to work with Luigi, who owned a plumbing business that also owned by their father as the boss (who is also retired), leading to the events of _Mario Bros_ and their job is to smash all the Koopas and other creatures inside the sewers of New Donk City until they discovered a pipe that leads to the Mushroom Kingdom.
8:39 (I can’t help but NOT think of this) Luigi: Hey Mario, you eva wonder where babies come from? Mario: Well ya see Luigi, when a Paisano puts his spaghetti noodle in a mama mia’s ravioli, a little bambino covered in prosciutto comes out about nine months later All jokes aside, I really like this video. It’s well paced, well thought out, and I can really feel the passion behind it. And who DOESN’T love the Super Mario Adventures comic? It’s a masterpiece!
Agreed, in no game in the series Yoshi was ever a pet. All the Yoshis are sentient creatures capable of pretty much anything Mario and Luigi can do. They even talk depending on the game.
@@siga.7578 I still say we should take the mama Luigi angle though. As for did Yoshi that help Mario find his brother he should be older Yoshi like the one from paper Mario.
@@siga.7578 I wonder how he will introduce waluigi into this maybe you can have an episode when wario is jealous of everybody having a partner. So he runs around desperately trying to find someone? And he just randomly picks this guy off the Street it be like Mario tennis but we get to see how they met
2:19 Actually according to Nintendo Peach just gets kidnapped so often because every platform game could be completed pretty easy but at the same time pretty slow and for that reason Peach just pretends she is in danger when she is more worried about the lives of Mario, Luigi and Bowser.
I have 2 great ideas of episodes that can be based off of Super Mario Maker: 1. It can have Luigi and the Toads making a level for Mario. Afterwards, Mario is told "Peach got kidnapped", and he goes to "save her", which led to him playing the level Luigi and the Toads made. Mario is told this afterwards, and he says he likes it. 2. It can be based simply off of the Story Mode plot in Super Mario Maker 2.
This reminds me of a tumblr post I made several days ago: “I can't sleep so l'm fantasizing about a well made or at least decent Super Mario Bros Super Show reboot, titled The *New* Super Mario Bros Super Show, in which I want the Koopalings getting up to various schemes and having hilarious sibling antics. I want the creators to reference memes such as Yoshi committing tax evasion and Waluigi's taco stand. I want some episodes to be goofy nonsense and others more serious and emotionally stirring. I want interaction between Bowser and King Boo. I want Toad to make squeaky toy noises again. And most of all, I want something I can love thoroughly and passionately, just like the Super Mario Bros Movie.”
Kind of like how steven universe was leading up to ocean gem? That's an interesting idea! Imagine the fan theories that would spawn as we get more and more story.
I'm a big fan of episodic cartoons with overarching plots so I'm totally on board with you here. Maybe, it could seem at first like there's just a story per episode, but with little bits of foreshadowing that hint at more coming later down the line.
Me thinking it's a good idea but sadly knowing that if there's a Special half hour episode in space, Rosalina will only show for that episode and never seen again. Unless... she just returns regularly.... due to fans.
Well, Bowser Jr. could have a space station, he's even more into mechanical fortresses and robots and stuff, in a new season or something, and Rosalina would be a more recurring character.
Why not just have the TTYD Yoshi with a fan vote for his name. He'll appear in a Glitz Pit episode and then be raised by Daisy leading to his fistey personality.
Agreed, in Super Mario World, he was more of a naive child, able to perform the duties his species does in the games but he was cognitive and a good friend, he could talk and he ate anything and everything, it made sense because the show was based off the game where Yoshi first appeared and in that game Yoshi is JUST hatched so him being childish made sense.
Episode 14: 24/10 A Majestic Encounter After a few instance problems, Peach became alone, her manners are too obnoxius for her friends, and after saw that from Kamek's Crystal Ball, Master Jr. sends Ludwig to Peach. He tries to convice Peach to drop off her friends in order to stay majestic and formal. Is he succeeded? Peach fell in his trap?
Bowser jr.: are you really in charge Here? Random koopa: I Bowser jr.:Nope! Random koopa: am Bowser jr.: wrong Random koopa: in Bowser jr.: I'm in charge! Edit: another suggestion, some episodes could be dedicated to lemmy koopa on many odd situation and uses humor and comedy to fix them.
Fun fact: there are mario animations other than the american ones that exist The japanese mario movie, the 3 storytime episodes, the phone console game and the car safety video. Edit: nevermind.. you referenced them... Shortly...
I would like to see this cartoon idea expand on Luigi's more mechanic side. Seeing as how he can build things out of pipes and other objects. I could see him as kind of a "Tails" to Mario's "Sonic". Imagine him building a bi plane called "The Koopa Stomper".
TwoTailedSponge I have to disagree, unfortunately. There’s really no need for a plane if powerups like the Cape Feather or the Raccoon Leaf are as plentiful as they are in the original cartoons. Sonic and Tails have a use for a plane because Sonic doesn’t always have the seven Chaos Emeralds(which is the only powerup that allows him to fly and for a limited amount of time only) at hand and Tails carrying Sonic everywhere would be clunky and awkward, especially since this way Eggman could just easily shoot them out of the sky as they would both be unable to counterattack properly. Mario and Luigi on the other hand can just grab one of the many flying powerups that exist in their world if they ever need to fly for an unlimited amount of time, maybe even keep one on them at all times like you can in the games with the extra item slot. They would also have an easier time attacking and dodging flying enemies as they are more evasive on their own with a powerup than they would be in a plane. Not to mention Bowser’s go-to missiles, the Bullet Bills, are *sentient,* meaning they could probably dodge most if not all attacks a plane could throw at them and aim straight for the wings whereas they would need to get close to Mario and Luigi themselves if they were flying with a powerup, which leaves them open to the Mario Bros’ deadly jumps and powerup-specific attacks such as the tail swipes they can dish out with raccoon leaves and tanuki suits. Having Luigi as a mechanic is all fine and dandy, but it needs to make sense in the universe at hand. You could show him as the more mechanical one on the job if the Mario Bros do some plumbing and have him build things that are supposed to make the job easier, like a fully automatic toilet plunger or something. If anything, I would maybe have him build a spaceship if there ever was a Mario Galaxy arc. Or go-karts if there was a Mario Kart arc. Or repair the Odyssey if there was a Mario Odyssey arc. There would be lots of good opportunities for him to show off a talent for machines, but directly importing a feature from Sonic would be a bad idea because their universes function nothing alike.
I like this idea! Here's my take on the concept,(if anyone cares) A Mario cartoon made by me would be similar in tone and style to the 2017 DuckTales by Disney. It would have a similar adventurous vibe and focus mainly on Mario and Luigi as they use a combination of intelligence and mild cartoon violence to overcome their obstacles and enemies. There would be no overarching villain, although Bowser would make frequent appearances in a way, similar to his appearances in Paper Mario:The Thousand-Year Door. The cartoon would go across multiple seasons, with each season having a different theme. There would be: "Super Mario Universe Season 1: Tales from the Mushroon Kingdom",with stories based on every Mario game that takes place in the Mushroom Kingdom "Super Mario Universe Season 2: Vacation Mishaps",with stories based on all Mario games that have the cast go on a vacation, including Luigi's Mansion 3 "Super Mario Universe Season 3: The Sky is the Limit!",with stories based on Galaxy,Odyssey,3DWorld,SMB2 and an occasional Captain Toad episode "Super Mario Universe Season 4: The Super-Mega Games",with an original plot that revolves around the Mario spinoffs and sports games.
I love this concept, I love this art style, I love the characterization, this video is a full package. I’d love to see a follow up video where you could elaborate with more specific locations and characters. I also like the idea of an episode where the main and supporting cast get together and race in the vain of Mario Kart. Definitely gonna have to check out more of your stuff.
6:24 It's not a Mario cartoon if Bowser himself isn't around anymore, while I do like Bowser Jr, he should be the secondary villain, teaming up with his father to try and stop the Mario Bros from ruining their evil schemes, I want Bowser to be the main antagonist of the show, not make him absent from the show whatsoever.
Here's an episode based on super Mario land It was a beautiful day in the mushroom Kingdom and Daisy invites them to sarassa land but when they get there however it's being taken over by aliens led by tatanga and so mario and co have to stop him. But bowser jr was brainwashed by tatanga along with the koopa clan. as mario tries to fight tatanga suddenly he gets killed by elder princess shroob who came through a time hole and the real battle starts. She speaks in english and tells that she's an alternative timeline thankfully the cobalt star came and it didn't seal elder princess shroob but it did destroy her saving both sarassa land and the mushroom Kingdom
What if Daisy not wanting to be a princess was an actual plot point? Like, for a good portion of the show, no one knows she’s a princess and they just think she’s some cool girl who hangs out with them. She could form a friendship with Peach and a potential relationship with Luigi. Then they travel to Sarasaland for an episode and she’s immediately called Princess Daisy and whisked away to her castle. It turns out she actually ran away from Sarasaland and they had been searching all over for her. The rest of the episode could be Daisy showing why she doesn’t like it, Peach not understanding why she doesn’t, and Mario helping Luigi out when he starts to feel unworthy of dating a princess.
I like that you made Peach stay girly and cute without being helpless. It kept her personality without just being that lady that gets saved. I also like the shoes Mario and Luigi had, matching their outfits. Great video overall!
They should have an episode where Mario falls into a deep slumber and the gang gets warped into his dream into a familar place... *SUBCON.* The dastardly greedy Wart is back at it again! Croaking for another brawl! Hoppin’ mad! Here he comes!
I love the idea of this so much, and honestly this would complete everything about my life if this somehow becomes a real thing. Wario and Waluigi could show up as the neutral scheming cheaters they are who sometimes interfere with Mario and the gang pulling off whatever ridiculous antics they're up too, and sometimes even fight against the gang themselves because they're helping Bowser Jr. Also, there has to be the obligatory joke about how Mario and Luigi speak in italian gibberish, for example when they're whispering to each other about ideas or whatever it is. There's just so much extra stuff they could sneak in!
Season 1 : Super Mario Bros - Super Mario 64 Season 2 : Super Mario Sunshine - Super Mario Galaxy 2 Season 3 : Super Mario Maker - Super Mario Maker 2 Season 4 : Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Episode 13: 17/10 The Bee Showdown Mario and his friends arive in Jungle Japes only to know that the Zingers and the Honey Bees are declaring fight under the orders of Honey Queen and Queen B. Diddy Kong is very worried about this fight. How is going to turn out? Is Mario gang able to end the conflict?
Y'know while I appreciate the innovation of Bowser Jr taking charge at the start, what if this plot thread were delayed? Such as, Season 1 is the typical show you'd kind of expect, Bowser's the antagonist and Mario and Co. have to stop his daily plans. But in the Season 1 finale (or a canonical, inter-seasonal OVA movie) Bowser is defeated seemingly for good, and BJ takes his place on the throne. Suddenly the formula goes out the window and the show gets turned on its head.
I think the other big bad villain could be “Count Bleck” and/or Diementio (not sure if i spelled that right) they could probably be the villains of the final seasons. Or maybe the Master Core (I doubt this one) and he would transform and clone himself to fight the Super Mario Gang I also wonder, who would be the animators for the show?, I haven’t ever watched a full episode of Steven Universe and i mostly forgot the plot and stuff, but I think the animation was pretty good, so maybe a couple of the animation team could hop onto this show after Steven Universe ends (not sure if it already ended. But i did see that a movie was released recently) I have seen full episodes of the DuckTales reboot. And the animation was quite possibly the best i’ve seen. And the art style would probably fit so well with this show. I would love to see a Super Mario show animated by the DuckTales team Also, i think Disney would be the best channel this show would go on. Off-Topic but i really want a Kirby Right Back At Ya reboot. With all the new Kirby Characters, the ones i mostly want to see would be Hyness and Void Termina
Maybe at the end of each season, they all fight a boss, and then, in the final season, they could fight the final boss. It would be like in the games where at the end of each world they fight a boss and in the final world they would fight Bowser or something.
11:35 Too be fair, Piantas aren't quite the sharpest plants in the pot, besides they have tiny trees sticking out of their brains. That kinda makes sense that they're not the brightest.
I'll probably fix the Bowser part. Instead of being like the "villain behind the curtain that waits until the end", it could be that he's like Glomgold in Ducktales: a villain, but also a villain that is the least bad of them all (since also he's supposed to be one of the main heros of the Mushroom World, states in Yoshi's Island DS and other games. He's just want to be evil), like... it could be Wart, Fawful or the Shroobs to be the final villain(s) and we could have hints of thier actions, like their easter eggs in other games (partners in time, bowser's inside story, color splash, link's awakening ecc...)
Here's how I would do a Sonic crossover, I would promote it to be some epic fight, just 11 minutes of Mario versus Sonic. In commercials you would see Mario transform into Fire Mario and see Sonic turn Super Sonic buuuuut here's the catch: the fight only lasts for 30 seconds, hear me out. It would basically just be one huge prank on the fans and the plot is actually Mario, Sonic and Tails team up to take down Bowser who has Peach turned into a robot.
You better find a studio where you can make this show because i wanna see the talent you can put together to make such a show I've wanted to see for years. Live your dream man. I pray for ya!
As embarrassing as this might be, I've had tons of ideas for adventures in the mushroom kingdom! If you ever want to do something like this, I'd love to write for it :p
Surielle the Cookie Kid They had Chris replace Amy and Tails in some situations that defined them as characters, the worst example being Amy talking Shadow into saving the planet instead of destroying it in SA2. In Sonic X during the SA2 arc, Chris gets to do that and Amy is flanderized into an angry clingy Anime girl stereotype with little to no depth to her character. If a character needs to flat-out steal defining moments from other characters in stories that never needed him in the first place, chances are he’s a crappy character to begin with.
Nintendo and Illuminations would be very proud of you. They should hire you for Nintendo Pictures because I hear Nintendo is planning on making TV shows, movies and anime based on the Nintendo games
This could work with an overarching plot, though, like Pokémon: The Series. You can have many series which are based off of the games. Super Mario: The Series - Superstar Saga, maybe.
If I were to go for a Mario TV Series, I’d upgrade the number of main characters from 4 to 6, thereby making Toad and Yoshi be important members. I went with 6, because that’s also the number of the main characters representing Disney’s Sensational Six (Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, and Daisy).
I was just gonna drop some Mario cartoon meme like, _IT'S A STONE LUIGI!_ or whatever, but I'm now legit amazed by all these ideas. You're a truly talented person, sir! :] Now I wish that someone on the official Nintendo crew gets amazed by this as well...!
How about a really obscure reference episode where bowser steals and resells prized possessions to buy hair dryers to melt antartica (which in this case will be snow kingdom)
In tha final episode bowser the broodels, bowser jr, the koopalings, boomboom and pompom, kamek, tatanga, wart, (maybe wario), every other main platforming mario bosses and all previous villains of the show itself! That'd be amazing!
its a cool premise, but I think if I was a kid, I would miss seeing the familiar iconic bad guy whenever I got a chance to watch. Kind of like how I was always less interested in Ninja Turtles when Shredder wasn't present. It would be cool if he still somehow appears in most episodes, maybe he was banished to another dimension (a "Warp Zone" or something equally Marioish), and could still bark orders at Jr. through a crystal ball or something. Junior might initially see him as the true Koopa King and do his bidding, but have an arc where he starts to realize Bowser Sr. isn't physically present and he doesn't have to take his orders, he often goes against Senior's plans in favour of his own.
With how much personality the characters have nowadays in Mario cutscenes, a movie or TV show that is faithful seems likely. My biggest source of evidence is “wowie zowie” from Luigi’s Mansion 3
In regards to your point about making no mention of Brooklyn, I propose an idea: Maybe they were originally from New Donk, and moved to the Mushroom Kingdom? That kinda seems to be implied by New Donk’s existence.
When I always thinking about super mario cartoon show, I always though it would arive in nickelodeon, because nickelodeon always shot-outs mario games and mario sometimes appears in kids choice awards. The fact that you said all in this video would be perfect for a mario cartoon show
Your idea for having Bowser dormant for most of the series while having Jr and the Koopalings take over reminds me a lot of how Transformers Animated handled Megatron: have him established as a threat that the heroes somehow miraculously defeated and have the minions reek havoc in his absence and then have him back and badder then ever as the finale to establish that he’s a serious threat that needs to stay down. Maybe like TFA, Dry Bowser would be pulling the strings with the undead characters (Dry Bones, Boos, Luigi’s Mansion ghosts, etc) and to help him regain his body so he can take his revenge on the Mario Bros. I would imagine Jr at least also trying to find some way to bring him back (a la NSMBDS and Bowser’s Fury) but maybe some of the Koopalings would take the Starscream approach and try to impede Bowser’s resurrection so they can have more freedom to do what they please (Ludwig comes to mind as a good candidate as it would fit with his cunning personality). Of course since you want it to be standalone for the most part, it wouldn’t affect the current episodes that much outside of establishing who the heroes will fight and the dynamics the Koopa clan would have but still. Very interesting premise regardless.
I like your ideas. I'm glad I'm not the only one who would love a Mario tv series. I even wrote my own pilot for a potential show based around Super Mario Bros. 1, and I envision my show to be about how Mario became a hero to the Mushroom Kingdom, with both original episodes and ones based off of certain games. If there's one thing I'd nitpick about your ideas, I'd include Yoshi as a main character, and would have Bowser as the main villain.
I actually have an idea for a funny moment to appear in an episode. At the start of the episode the main crew are fishing for coins. Peach comments on how relaxing it is, whereas Mario fears he'll get a blister if he continues any longer.
i always imagine amore story focused one in the first 5 or so episodes beiging in the mushroom kingdom when the episodes after would be a world tour with mario luigi daisy peach toad toadette and many more
(imitated Jimmy Neutron): Attention, citizens, there are no more Super Mario games, and they will not be making any more. Thank you. No more Mario, no more problems. What are they gonna do, riot?
I think your interpretation is great! And I would totally watch it. One thing I kept keeping in the back of my mind though is for them to bring a bunch of spin off characters into the series to tie the lore together more than they could do in any game. For example, Geno could be an awesome character to make a return and would make for some solid plotlines. They could use other characters aswell, and use elements from their games, locations, and character arcs to give either tie them to the current mario lore, or give them new details about them based off of their games. I think fans would love to see the standard mario series, Mario RPG franchises and Paper Mario games mix all into one. Paper mario could even be a character in some episodes! And some off episodes during the season could focus on the mario party or Mario kart aspect of Mario, and possibly tie those games into the main series. There is so much room for creativity here. One thing I wasnt sure about though was the entire “Retell stories” aspect. Maybe some episodes they could do this and other episodes, they could focus on adding new stories and tying up lose ends in the mario series as a whole.
I feel that Toad should definitely get the fourth lead role over Daisy. He’s appeared in many different more mainline games as a playable (usually as a fourth character) while Daisy, as you said, usually only appears in spinoffs. I just don’t really see how Daisy would work as a sort of better comedic relief than Toad has in Super Show.
I love your ideas so much, and it makes me sad that this isn't already real. I wish there was some way to pitch this to Nintendo or at least get the idea in their heads that we want a show like this.
Making a Mario cartoon/animé has really been a long time coming IMO and with so many adventures now it seems to be an excellent idea to do. A fantastical world with goofy adventures is what I picture it, with some slice of life moments to also develop characters. It will be mostly comedic but will have emotional moments and cartoony action. I think Pokémon Sun and Moon animé has a tone that can work well here. I like that you have Daisy as a fourth member of the crew as I am thinking the same. She could be a great foil to both Peach and Luigi in different ways -- gentle vs. brash, timid vs. courageous. Have them go to some adventures to thwart the big bad and maybe sprinkle some minor villains here or there. Maybe at times have them team up too especially if a Bigger Bad comes. I think your Bowser Jr. idea is great but I still would prefer Bowser. Bowser could be like Dr. Doofenshmirtz being angry at the world making comedic schemes that always fail. Have the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. also try to fight for his favor at times. Then maybe have some villains like Cackletta, Antasma, Wart, and even Count Bleck as the serious villains in the seasons. Have some miniarcs based on the games. It's quite surprising how many things you can think of in a Super Mario cartoon that making a movie based on it actually has quite the potential.
I love this idea for a tv series. You could have so many different things going on! you could have character-centric episodes focusing on the problems one character faces and the gang helping them overcome whatever it is, for one idea. Maybe another idea, you could have Wario and Waluigi bullying the characters and being comedy relief, while another episode could have the gang help Wario in one of his hairbrained moneymaking schemes based on the Warioware or Wario Land titles. And yet another episode could have the gang visit DK in the Jungle Kingdom and reference the Donkey Kong show EVERYWHERE in that one, King K Rool and Diddy and Dixie and the other DK cast could make awesome eye candy cameos. Or what about an episode based on Mario and Luigi Dream Team with some references to Super Mario Bros 2?! Wart, perhaps? And as for Bowser, maybe he could be like the looming "bigger bad" in the background kind of villain. The best example I can come up with is Dr. Claw from the CGI Inspector Gadget series on Netflix. In that show Dr. Claw's nephew is the recurring villain much like Bowser Jr. in your show pitch. Also I absolutely love the artwork you've done for the video. It's so cool!
I have an Idea for an episode, titled "The Great Mushroom Cook-off" Where Peach and a new female character compete in a cooking contest with cake, souffle, and other stuff.... it could work.
King Boo should DEFINETLY be a reocurring villain. Maybe i'm just saying this because he's my favorite Mario character, but it would be awesome if he was a season finale villain, and Mario and Bowser Jr. had to team up to trap him in a painting for good. Maybe Bowser Jr. could want to beat him because KB, like in the games, uses Bowser's body like a weapon to defeat the Bros
Solar Boy Django that conversation would be hilarious. Bowser jr a 4 year old with access to an army talking to a dead person that likes to stuff people in paintings
One fun thing the show could do would be to center episodes around the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. themselves! They could interact just like they do in the cutscenes for Bowser Jr.s Journey, like how Ludwig thinks he’s the smartest, or when they need to be sneaky, Iggy or Morton start yelling things, blowing their cover.
That will be an excellent idea, i can also imagine things like cameos of mario's friends (like mallow and geno, paper mario's partners, etc.) reference from mario games (like sagas like mario & luigi, paper mario, spin off games and main games), retell story's in a different and refresh way, explore the mario universe and even episodes when some one else is the protagonist, like bowser jr. And the koopalings (also can have flashbacks when bowser was with them). Something extra i love to see is Wario and Waluigi being secondary antagonist, it will be funny.
I think you have some good ideas going and so does a lot of people in the comment section. It’d be really fun show if it could be pulled off well. If I may I’d like to throw my idea of some vague Mario animation that I mentioned on another video for the inspiration of the underground theme: I can’t help but imagine a cheesy 2D 70’s/80’s animated detective-esque Mario movie trailer where, along with this song playing, at the start of it you only see a black screen and then the faces of Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Daisy are illuminating with neon lights of their respected colors. Mario looks angry, Luigi is a bit passive, Peach is a touch frightened but still optimistic, and Daisy has a confident smirk on her face. They all do their own unique walk cycles and then you hear a narrator say: “These two plumbers have snaked their way down the wrong drain pipe.” As you actually see them wobbling and zig-zagging down the warp pipe. Suddenly you get a glimpse of the underworld which looks like a cramped, monster infested, grimier version of New York but only illuminated by the neon lights outside of the buildings. “To find their way back,” ‘I wanna go home...’ “Its gonna take two pros,” ‘Cheer up Peachy Pie. Us girls gotta stick together.’ “Two Bros,” ‘Here we goooo!!!’ ‘You can run Mario Bros. But ‘cha can’t hide from me!’ “To unclog this mess.” And then around there’s a bunch of different clips of fight scenes involving Charging Chucks, chase scenes of the gang running from chain chomps, Thwomps, and so on. You see brief clips of all the koopalings taunting Mario before they begin their battles and you even see Wendy calling in Lakitus and at one point carrying a conversation with Mario about something. It flips back and forth between Mario & Luigi to Peach & Daisy going around town, interrogating people about this place how they can get out of it. When it gets to 2:25 there’s ‘fan service-y’ clips sprinkled into the mix where Peach & Daisy are at the “dance” club all dressed in black and the shygirls (I know they’re not canon) show them up with their dancing. Of course Daisy takes this personally and so an odd dance off ensues in between the parts where Mario & Luigi kick some of the Koopalings’s back to world 2-2. “Welcome Mario and Luigi to...” * warp pipe sounds as the title card falls * * 8-bit bullet bill/Firework sfx plays as the title lights up* “The Underground. Coming soon to a theatre near you.” ...Something like that. ^^; I don’t really see it as something that could potentially exist, let alone something that could be made by Nintendo, but it’s still fun whenever it runs through my mind as I hear Friendship’s “Let’s Not Talk About It.”
I like the idea that Bowser has been defeated and now sort of acts like an angry dad, where he isn't exactly good but the protagonists will sometimes have to work with the former villain to deal with problems that only he would know how to solve.
LITERALLY EVERY SECOND OF THIS ARE MY EXACT THOUGHTS. Like I'm so used to just hearing people say the games only have a boring Princess saving type of plot and don't see like any potential whatsoever. (Though I usually find it's due to their only real experience to the series being from games like NSMB) It's always so awesome to hear from more people who really feel there could actually be potential in something like this. It makes me have hope more people like you who understand it like this are out there and end up being the type who work on the movie (Though I'm not holding my breath). While I don't have the highest hopes for those type of things, finding a video or post somewhere like this every so often just makes me feel so inspired and happy. I know it sounds silly but the series means a lot to me, being what really got me into video games (after my Mom originally made me think they were all bad from always buying cheap awful plug and plays), then after my little bro was born being something we can enjoy and bond over. Thank you. :)
I’ve been working on my version about Mario series. Based on the Mario RPG franchise but in my own version but also representing the Mario Source Material. The Adventures of Mario & Luigi: Based on the plot RPG Nintendo Game in the Super Mario Franchise Mario & Luigi. The plot revolves around Mario and Luigi traveling simultaneously as they explore the neighboring Beanbean Kingdom to recover Princess Peach's voice from an evil witch, Cackletta, and her pupil, Fawful. For the purpose of harnessing the power of a special artifact called the Beanstar to rule both neighboring kingdoms. But Unlike those titles however, Superstar Saga features a lighthearted whimsical script and a greater emphasis on comedy and humor.
CAST: Mario (Voiced by Charles Martinet): The Main Titular Protagonist of the The Adventures of Mario & Luigi series and Luigi’s Older Twin Brother. He is the Heroic, Optimistic, and Kind-Hearted Plumber as his good deeds are well known around all each kingdoms. Saving the Princess from the dirty claws of the Brutal King of the Koopas, Bowser. He can a-bit of a Tenacious Daredevil but his humble personality is what keeps him in check and can be straightforward when things get serious. But he couldn’t do this alone, now alongside with his little twin brother Luigi they both work together to retrieve the princesses beautiful voice from the far neighboring kingdom of Beanbean. Luigi (Voiced by Charles Martinet): The Main Titular Deuteragonist of The Adventures of Mario & Luigi and Mario’s Younger Twin Brother. While his appearance does seem abit similar to his older brother he has different qualities that make him stand out. He’s a Quirky, Clumsy, Timidly, Introvert of a Plumber that he’s too scared to face big and tough enemies even ghosts. Making him cautious around his brother whenever he’s put into risky situations. But like his brother he’s also Kind-Hearted and Heroic even in dire situations he just has to pull through his own fears and face incoming threats when necessary. He’ll put his own courage to the test as he and Mario Travel to the neighboring kingdoms of Beanbean on a daring quest to retrieve the princesses voice and figure out what this maniacal witch Cackletta has in plan! Princess Peach (Samatha Kelly or Anya Taylor-Joy or Emily Neves or Nicole Mills): The Supporting Deuteragonist of The Adventures of Mario & Luigi Series and Ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. She lives at her own giant castle with Toad and Toadsworth as the prominent landmark amongst the toads of Toad Town. Her color of pink reflects the sweet, gentle, optimistic personality and socially classy to her people and others. She even shows worriment to her enemies such as Bowser. While she does portray as the damsel-in-distress, she’s bold enough to stand up to her friends if they are ones in distress. Princess Peach receives a gift from the Goodwill Ambassador from the Beanbean Kingdom at her castle, but the ambassador and her assistant soon reveal themselves (Cackletta and Fawful in disguise) and steal Peach's voice. King Bowser Koopa/Rookie (Voiced by John DiMaggio): The Minor Antagonist of the SuperStar Saga arc (Season 1) But also Starring Antagonist of the entire The Adventures of Mario & Luigi Series and The King of the Koopas. Mario’s Arch-Frenemy/Nemesis and Ruler of the Darklands, Bowser has Nasty Reputation of being the most powerful, angriest, evilest king of all koopas. Regarding as the Feared Leader from his troops due to strength and tenacity, but his own arrogance and short-temper can be his own downfall as he’s not the smartest but more brawnier. Despite his pleasures of his villainous deeds he has his own standards of villainy and is quite the cordial father figure to his son Bowser Jr. and his Koopalings and his harsh and raging demeanor sometimes softens somewhat towards to his Loyal Minions. Some time after this, Bowser arrives at the castle to kidnap the princess. However, Mario and Luigi enter soon after, and Mario engages in battle with Bowser (with the latter being irritated at Mario allegedly attacking him while his back was turned) However, once the fight is over, Bowser states that it is not the time for a battle, and a Toad explains the situation. Bowser realizes that if he kidnaps Peach now, her voice will destroy his castle. He and the Mario Bros. venture to the Beanbean Kingdom to recover Peach's voice, only wanting to kidnap her afterward.
Other Casts: Toadsworth (Voiced by Tom Kane): Toad (Voiced by Tara Strong or Andrea Libman): Prince Peasley (Voiced by Todd Haberkorn): Professor E. i would like to see a 90s anime of the First two Paper Mario games. i just love the partners. and i would like to see them interact with each other and Mario. (Or Bowsers and Kammy's interactions, in an anime format.) to me, Characters like Goombario, Vivian, Koops, are a few of the more interesting characters. because they've opened up a new side to species like Goomba, Koopa, Lakitu, etc.
I’d watch it. One thing that I really liked about Super Show was how it included musical segments. I know it doesn’t make a lot of sense, but if “What’s New Scooby-Doo” can make it work with 2000’s rock, this new Mario show could do the same with a genre of music more representative of Mario.
In the original cartoons, Toad to me is to priceless for the shows standards to be a side character. Also, I feel were to run with the Bowser Jr idea, I think bowser could become neutral, as just a side character resident of the mushroom kingdom, and maybe come up with some ideas to help Mario and co. Yoshi could also maybe replace peach, as a silent straight man like Grommit from Wallace and Grommit.
This just proves that Mario can excel at other sources of media then just video games. Of course, Super Mario Adventures already shows us, but this takes it an extra mile! I want somebody to actually animate these ideas. It'll be great!
While I do like the idea of Bowser Jr as the main antagonist at all, I also would like to see Wario and Waluigi as the comedy relief bully characters.
Maybe a B plot!
Yeah! It would be really interesting! Maybe there could be some spin-off, the Wario Bros. Misadventures.
Like Buford from phineas and ferb
I think maybe minor antagonists every now and again, and have a couple spinoff episodes where they are the leads, the theme song changes to match

Eh, they’re actually a wholesome Father son duo. But if we had the Koopalings added that would probably lead to some funny situations.
This just made me think about sir pelo’s “Gimme the gun”
My idea is to have Bowser as a villain for one season and Jr for the next for Bowser to return after that season after Jr’s character arc. It doesn’t seem right for Mario’s main arch nemesis to be completely absent for the shows entirety.
What theme song would the show have? Because let’s be honest, you can’t beat “Do The Mario”.
Remix of “Do The Mario”? It wouldn’t beat the classic one though
@@thecreatorofpc7929 That's probably the only way, but just make it the general beat while everyone dances in the background. Remember the Sponge Out of Water credits? Something like that could work
Well i think they should do the regular mario theme song but with new lyrics
I'm thinking that it should be "Jump Up Superstar"
I think the music for the intro should be modeled off of the SM3DL remix of the SMB theme (seen in 2-3; the level where you travel across large 8-bit sprites),
also heard as the sky bonus theme in SM3DW.
This would definitely be a good idea, I also feel Luigi could also fill a similar role to this with his clumsy and cowardly demeanor.
Capn Crunch Master I feel that would also work good but I feel making the person you’re pitying shouldn’t be one of the main characters and also have some evil intentions so you don’t mind always seeing them at the butt of the joke
Bowser should have his personality from BIS since thats probably his best role.
Wario and waluigi could also fit that role too
I love how he was portrayed in Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story.
Why not have it go to Netflix instead?

Yeah some real nice fanservice would be nice like 🍑

Junior world to try to bring his dad back throughout the series that sounds good
Or bowser returns as dry bowser for a season finale
There could be little scenes in episodes that show Bowser Jr. trying to make that one thing that brought back Bowser in New Super Mario Bros. DS.
Those would be sad moments
How many methods of reviving the dead can you think of
The blue diglett I think that would be a bit dark if he was dead. I’d prefer Bowser is away on holiday and Bowser Jr thinks he can take over
Woah, Mario and Luigi have color coordinated shoes with their outfits.

My idea for a Mario cartoon:
Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Daisy are the main characters, always having to thwart Bowser.
Perfect, its Holistic
So, essentially Nintendo's version of Phineas and Ferb.
@@themightygallium9509 i guess, i wrote this over 2 years ago, my idea of what episodic plots for childrens shows could be was a bit limited then
i do remember wanting to have a running gag of Waluigi really liking Poodles, if that means anything, lmfao
Having Wario and Waluigi be sub-plot character could be amazing, especially if they are comedic relief. Like Bulk and Skull in the original Power Rangers or Team Rocket in Pokemon. They slow the good guys down but are generally a harmless threat.
yeah having Wario and Waluigi as crocked con men is a brilliant idea
Kirby Over Yonder
Actually... Mario has been serious plenty of times in the past. Mainly in the RPGs. Remember the Shroob invasion of partners in time? Or how about Super Paper Mario, where Mario was literally forced to travel through HELL. Including swimming in The River Twigz, an alternate version of The River Styx!
In games it’s one thing. But a cartoon for children? Let’s lay off the drama and nightmares a bit...
Rodrick Goldberg I haven’t many of the RPGs so you have a point there, but I totally think cartoons can have drama and story arcs. Adventure Time, Avatar, Gravity Falls, Star Vs, Steven Universe. All of these shows are loved by both kids and adults.

My ideas
The villains from Mario and Luigi should appear as secondary antagonists throughout the series
Bowser would be like how he was in Mario Galaxy, hammy, but still threatening and serious.
Wario and Waluigi would have roles.
Since Daisy is part of the central cast, Tatanga might be ideal.
For an adaptation of Mario land 1, Luigi should be the protagonist instead
King boo, fawful and cackletta, wart and the broodals can be more threatening villains
@Pally Dan Everyone keeps forgetting that Tatanga exists, because we haven’t seen him since Super Mario Land (well, besides appearing in Smash as a spirit).
@@pallydan893 If i made a Mario anime series i would defiantly make king boo from Luigis mansion one of the villians

If this were a thing, I'd imagine they would make Bowser the 'Lord Hater' of the show and introduce much bigger villains than him.
The Super Paper Mario bowser was the one i liked the most out of all of Bowser’s personality’s

Uncle Ed Wario has no brother.
No, Mario and Luigi are more popular, and people will confuse Wario and Waluigi's names with theirs.
this is perfect
That would be a neat idea. I also have a Mario origin story to come up where:
Mario started off working as a carpenter who constructed buildings and deals with hazards.
8:39 (I can’t help but NOT think of this)
Luigi: Hey Mario, you eva wonder where babies come from?
Mario: Well ya see Luigi, when a Paisano puts his spaghetti noodle in a mama mia’s ravioli, a little bambino covered in prosciutto comes out about nine months later
All jokes aside, I really like this video. It’s well paced, well thought out, and I can really feel the passion behind it. And who DOESN’T love the Super Mario Adventures comic? It’s a masterpiece!
Ok that was funny
I don't think a lot of people like Yoshi to be a called a pet
Mario second family.
Agreed, in no game in the series Yoshi was ever a pet.
All the Yoshis are sentient creatures capable of pretty much anything Mario and Luigi can do.
They even talk depending on the game.
Mama Luigi and Daddy Daisy.
I agree on this. He's more like Mario and Luigi's best friend besides Toad.
@@siga.7578 I still say we should take the mama Luigi angle though.
As for did Yoshi that help Mario find his brother he should be older Yoshi like the one from paper Mario.

I think it’d be really cool if Ludwig and Iggy are the two characters who make things for Jr and the rest of the Koopalings
“This is not to be taken super seriously.”
Now we can’t have Mario’s Bizarre Adventure: Plumber Crusaders
I have 2 great ideas of episodes that can be based off of Super Mario Maker:
This reminds me of a tumblr post I made several days ago: “I can't sleep so l'm fantasizing about a well made or at least decent Super Mario
Bros Super Show reboot, titled The
*New* Super Mario Bros Super Show, in which I want the Koopalings getting up to various schemes and having hilarious sibling antics.
I would like if the show had individual stories, but every episode had a “story section” which furthered the plot of the show.
Like OK KO?
2:07-2:40 That's MUCH more of what we want in Princess Peach! Heck, even Illumination may do it!
Me thinking it's a good idea but sadly knowing that if there's a Special half hour episode in space, Rosalina will only show for that episode and never seen again.

A Majestic Encounter
After a few instance problems, Peach became alone, her manners are too obnoxius for her friends, and after saw that from Kamek's Crystal Ball, Master Jr. sends Ludwig to Peach. He tries to convice Peach to drop off her friends in order to stay majestic and formal. Is he succeeded? Peach fell in his trap?

Fun fact: there are mario animations other than the american ones that exist
The japanese mario movie, the 3 storytime episodes, the phone console game and the car safety video.

@@ender7278 Terebikko Mario. Its animation feels like an 80s movie of mario world.
I feel like daisy should be a reoccurring character like Toadette, Egadd, Yoshi, etc. I really liked the idea of Toad being Peach’s right hand man.
I would like to see this cartoon idea expand on Luigi's more mechanic side. Seeing as how he can build things out of pipes and other objects.
I could see him as kind of a "Tails" to Mario's "Sonic". Imagine him building a bi plane called "The Koopa Stomper".
TwoTailedSponge i would love this. It feels like Nintendo wanted him to tinker in Mario Party and then just threw the idea away
@@SoggyHotDoggy It makes even more sense when you account for his association with E. Gadd.
Don't forget Luigi is an expert casino player
TwoTailedSponge
I have to disagree, unfortunately.
12:22 "I don't expect everyone to be completely sold on my interpretation"
I'm sold.
I like this idea!
Here's my take on the concept,(if anyone cares)
A Mario cartoon made by me would be similar in tone and style to the 2017 DuckTales by Disney.
There would be:
"Super Mario Universe Season 1: Tales from the Mushroon Kingdom",with stories based on every Mario game that takes place in the Mushroom Kingdom
"Super Mario Universe Season 2: Vacation Mishaps",with stories based on all Mario games that have the cast go on a vacation, including Luigi's Mansion 3
"Super Mario Universe Season 3: The Sky is the Limit!",with stories based on Galaxy,Odyssey,3DWorld,SMB2 and an occasional Captain Toad episode
"Super Mario Universe Season 4: The Super-Mega Games",with an original plot that revolves around the Mario spinoffs and sports games.

I do think I'd probably switch Season 3 and 4's places, you know, get an epic finale in the middle of space.
@@linksnivey1161 Season 4 would not be the end, though.
That was just all I came up with at the moment.
Odessey and galaxy have enough material to warrant their own seasons
I like how you gave mario and luigi red and green shoes it really makes them stand out in a charming way
I love this concept, I love this art style, I love the characterization, this video is a full package.
This is just a pitch. I do agree that Bowser should be the main antagonist, but the Mario universe has tons of villains to work with
Here's an episode based on super Mario land
It was a beautiful day in the mushroom Kingdom and Daisy invites them to sarassa land but when they get there however it's being taken over by aliens led by tatanga and so mario and co have to stop him.
So basically a combination of Mario 2 and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team? I like it!
SkyanUltra Wario work along.
Season 1 : Super Mario Bros - Super Mario 64
Season 2 : Super Mario Sunshine - Super Mario Galaxy 2
Season 3 : Super Mario Maker - Super Mario Maker 2
Season 4 : Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
The true villain could be Prince Haru from the Mario anime. (Nobody loved him due to the ending.)
Episode 13: 17/10
The Bee Showdown
Mario and his friends arive in Jungle Japes only to know that the Zingers and the Honey Bees are declaring fight under the orders of Honey Queen and Queen B.
Just the thought that there is a small chance that a cartoon like this might exist makes me happy
I think the other big bad villain could be “Count Bleck” and/or Diementio (not sure if i spelled that right) they could probably be the villains of the final seasons. Or maybe the Master Core (I doubt this one) and he would transform and clone himself to fight the Super Mario Gang
I also wonder, who would be the animators for the show?, I haven’t ever watched a full episode of Steven Universe and i mostly forgot the plot and stuff, but I think the animation was pretty good, so maybe a couple of the animation team could hop onto this show after Steven Universe ends (not sure if it already ended. But i did see that a movie was released recently)
I have seen full episodes of the DuckTales reboot. And the animation was quite possibly the best i’ve seen. And the art style would probably fit so well with this show. I would love to see a Super Mario show animated by the DuckTales team
Also, i think Disney would be the best channel this show would go on.
Nintendo/Illumination Entertainment be like "Write that down! Write that down!"
I always thought it would be cool if they did episodes where it would crossover with other Nintendo games like Splatoon or The Legend of Zelda.
Or just straight up have a smash bros episode lol
Kind of reminds me of how sonic x sometimes made episodes off the actual games
Despite the fact that they worsened them with Chris.
Examples?
The sonic adventure 1 and 2 episodes?
Surielle the Cookie Kid
They had Chris replace Amy and Tails in some situations that defined them as characters, the worst example being Amy talking Shadow into saving the planet instead of destroying it in SA2.
@@rainpooper7088 Chris shouldnt exist but be just...does
Nintendo and Illuminations would be very proud of you.
This is my dream as well! I've always thought of a true Mario show existing one day :)
I was just gonna drop some Mario cartoon meme like, _IT'S A STONE LUIGI!_ or whatever, but I'm now legit amazed by all these ideas.
You're a truly talented person, sir! :]
Now I wish that someone on the official Nintendo crew gets amazed by this as well...!
How about a really obscure reference episode where bowser steals and resells prized possessions to buy hair dryers to melt antartica (which in this case will be snow kingdom)
The episodes based on Mario Games should be 22 minutes specials
I feel bad for yoshi being a reference to the super Mario bros movie
I can see a Mario show having like an Adventure Time vibe. Where it’s not necessarily episodic but still has a continuing story.
9:18
Thats the plot of Mario Party DS

In regards to your point about making no mention of Brooklyn, I propose an idea:
Maybe they were originally from New Donk, and moved to the Mushroom Kingdom?
Honestly, I think both would work best. Five protagonists is a pretty standard setup, and if you make Toad blue they each have distinct color.
@@ender7278 It worked for Sonic Boom, so surely it'll work here! Sega does what Nintendon't, but then Ninten-do what Sega does!
I have an Idea for an episode, titled "The Great Mushroom Cook-off"
Where Peach and a new female character compete in a cooking contest with cake, souffle, and other stuff....
it could work.
King Boo should DEFINETLY be a reocurring villain. Maybe i'm just saying this because he's my favorite Mario character, but it would be awesome if he was a season finale villain, and Mario and Bowser Jr. had to team up to trap him in a painting for good. Maybe Bowser Jr. could want to beat him because KB, like in the games, uses Bowser's body like a weapon to defeat the Bros
maybe some of the episodes could include cameo's from other mario villans! such as bowser jr making a deal with king boo
Dimentio what about you?
@@solarboydjango5219 possibly
If I may I’d like to throw my idea of some vague Mario animation that I mentioned on another video for the inspiration of the underground theme:
I can’t help but imagine a cheesy 2D 70’s/80’s animated
detective-esque Mario movie trailer where, along with this song playing, at the start of it you only see a black screen and then the faces of Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Daisy are illuminating with neon lights of their respected colors. Mario looks angry, Luigi is a bit passive, Peach is a touch frightened but still optimistic, and Daisy has a confident smirk on her face. They all do their own unique walk cycles and then you hear a narrator say:
“These two plumbers have snaked their way down the wrong drain pipe.” As you actually see them wobbling and zig-zagging down the warp pipe.
Suddenly you get a glimpse of the underworld which looks like a cramped, monster infested, grimier version of New York but only illuminated by the neon lights outside of the buildings.
“To find their way back,”
‘I wanna go home...’
“Its gonna take two pros,”
‘Cheer up Peachy Pie. Us girls gotta stick together.’
“Two Bros,”
‘Here we goooo!!!’
‘You can run Mario Bros. But ‘cha can’t hide from me!’
“To unclog this mess.”
And then around there’s a bunch of different clips of fight scenes involving Charging Chucks, chase scenes of the gang running from chain chomps, Thwomps, and so on.
“Welcome Mario and Luigi to...”
* warp pipe sounds as the title card falls *
* 8-bit bullet bill/Firework sfx plays as the title lights up*
“The Underground.
Coming soon to a theatre near you.”
...Something like that. ^^;
I don’t really see it as something that could potentially exist, let alone something that could be made by Nintendo, but it’s still fun whenever it runs through my mind as I hear Friendship’s “Let’s Not Talk About It.”
A concept: Is 'Mario' actually Marc Lovallo, or is 'Marc Lovallo' actually Mario? The world may never know... (awesome video, Marc)

Based on the plot RPG Nintendo Game in the Super Mario Franchise Mario & Luigi.

@@josemarquez9454are you going to make this
i would like to see a 90s anime of the First two Paper Mario games.
i just love the partners. and i would like to see them interact with each other and Mario. (Or Bowsers and Kammy's interactions, in an anime format.)
to me, Characters like Goombario, Vivian, Koops, are a few of the more interesting characters. because they've opened up a new side to species like Goomba, Koopa, Lakitu, etc.
I like including daidey. She has such a big personality!! I hope she makes an appearance in Luigi's mansion 3
Part of me would also like to visit the “every episode is a Mario take on something” from the Super Show.
I’d watch it.
One thing that I really liked about Super Show was how it included musical segments. I know it doesn’t make a lot of sense, but if “What’s New Scooby-Doo” can make it work with 2000’s rock, this new Mario show could do the same with a genre of music more representative of Mario.
What about Pauline singing some songs for the show? 🤔🤔🤔
