@@zewise1 Yes it was an automatic n the show, but if you got to all that work and expense, make it right. Once you put a Ferrari emblem on it, go all the way. The "Vice" car's, did not have Ferrari on the valve cover gaskets, they were modified vets. I was on location in the 1980's and saw car (s) in detail.
Bill Kuhn I saw the cars too I mean it's his car, whatever floats his boat. Like you, I would prefer manual if it were mine. But it isn't. He got a lot right compared to many copies.

Ich liebe dieses Auto! Die Replica ist schöner als das Original!
Ja, ein feines und besonderes Auto! Da geht auch das Herz des Filmers auf, wenn man so tolle Models hat. :-)

I can't get over those little roads. It makes me want to ride a Ruckus scooter on them.
For sure that would be much fun, too. Come to Germany and we show you those roads. ;)
That's a nice car! Is it made by McBurney? That's an elaborate Daytona that looks more like a Ferrari than the replica used in miami vice!
Tom McBurney IS the man who built 5 cars for the Miami Vice show. This car must be one of the 79 he built before Ferrari shut him down.
was that the v12?
Chris Cars no, V8, Corvette C3, 1981
With a Corvette Automatic? LOL
@@billkuhn615 wasn't sure. You know they can mate different engines to different transmissions with conversion plates. (Not sure why anyone would)
