SO many memories, so much joy... it makes me deeply sad we'll never see the three of them together again. Brothers in Arms was the perfect song for that.

Yeah, James was always the stoic one. Even in the last episode of Top Gear - where Hammond and May presented it without Clarkson, May seemed unmoved by it all while Hammond was quite somber. So to see James May emotional in this last episode, that's something.
"And it will come back", it came back right in that moment James. For you and for every single person who watched it. You brought so much happiness you can't imagine. Thank you.
They said earlier in the special that the BBC wasn’t allowed in Zimbabwe, yet all three of them are *still* famous enough to warrant being front page news there. I’d say they brought plenty of happiness.
Aww James, I'm gonna cry. Its ok, get emotional. This is no time to be stoic. You, and Jeremy, and Richard have brought me more joy and happiness then you'll ever know. You were the three ingredients in the best recipe every written for a television show.
"I hope we brought you a little bit of happiness" James may you and the trio gave us happiness, hours of laughs, and entertainment that will remain relevant and ageless long after the series has ended.
I iust finished watching, and it made me laugh, reminisce, and... full-on cry. I can't believe that after 22 years, we've reached the end of an era for these three. Let's make sure history never forgets the names: Jeremy Clarkson, James May, & Sir Richard Hammond. Enjoy life as free men, free from the shackles of contractual-media-obligations... 'you know’
Here's the thing, James. You and your friends brought more happiness than we could ever count. Ever since 2006-2007 when i started watching, i was laughing, being amused and educated about the banter between the trio and the review of the cars. Thank You, Clarkson, Hammond May. You all did brought us happiness
If I may be so bold. I think I speak for everyone here. I’ve watched hilarious films, comedians, plays…Nothing has made me laugh so much as these three gentlemen. Through 22 years of Top Gear and the Grand Tour. Thank you!
It's weird. I'm actually feeling a loss. I've grown up watching the trio, laughing at the trio, wishing I could visit half the places they have, drive the cars they have and now that's all over. They brought me more happiness than they would ever think and I'm eternally grateful 😊
The BBC can reboot Top Gear all they want. But I'm going to say this, these three are Top Gear as well as car cult heroes. There will never be another Clarkson, Hammond and May trio. Never. The banter, mockery and unhinged jokes about everything and everyone including themselves whilst talking about cars is unmatched. I feel like the car industry is not going to be the same knowing we are moving away from big V8s, V10s and V12s to electrics and of course without the trio. James last words is only scrapping the surface. It's an inspiration and joy.😢

I'm 40 years old and have watched Jeremy since the old Top Gear days. I have never cried at anything I've ever watched, but the scene at the end where they come out of the mirage across the Makgadikgadi had me bawling my eyes out. I will miss these chaps antics. Thanks for the memories.
More than happiness!!! You three gave me joy, laughter, entertainment and amazing childhood, teenage and early 20's age of TV / Streaming services! Thank you champions! 🏆 🏆 🏆The best trio there has and will ever be! 22 years of happiness!
First time ever I wasn’t looking forward to a Top Gear/Grand Tour episode. I knew I just wasn’t ready to say goodbye. I was actually dreading watching it. You bought me & many others so much happiness May. Don’t you worry about that.

Little bit of happiness is not enough to describe when I discovered compilation of them doing specific things and heck even watching them back is still funny
I'm not an emotional man. I grew up in a tough area, with a tough family and at 16 I left school, joined the military and went off to a couple of hot places where some people didn't like us very much... I do not say this to try and come across as a "tough guy" or anything, it's for context... the final episode, the end here and the montage at the very end... First time i've cried since I was like, 12? ... i'm 38. I've seen Grandparents and Great Grandparents die, Friends die, and yet it's the end of Clarkson, Hammond & May as a Trio on our screens that finally brought me to tears! ... I honestly didn't realise until I watched this, how much those 3 meant to me in my life. 3 blokes I've never met, never had a conversation or a beer with, yet it feels like family.

These three brought me so many laughs, and I was privileged enough to be in the Top Gear audience a few years ago. I never thought I would be this upset for the final episode. I cried my eyes out.
Seeing May, out of all of them three, tearing up just got me. I was doing my best to hold back any tears before this scene, but here, i just lost it. I'm gonna miss these three.

I ever read it on an interview with Jeremy, he said that James had an emotion of a stone, as he didn't get emotional whatsoever upon parting ways with everyone. Jeremy got emotional, and so did Richard. But James? He just handshaking everyone and said goodbye without even looking sad. And I thought, 'did he? Or did he hiding it?' Just watched the finale tonight. It wasn’t the montages, or the flashbacks, or the music that got to me. It was this scene where May describes this little green bag as he wells up. I don’t know why but my eyes started to water for a second at this part
