Seems like it would only work if you had enough hook shank length (or enough exposed hook shank) to touch both the tip of the tool and the loop on the tool?

I called the phone number on the web site and it goes to voice message. Really!!! What's going on there. So, now if I try to purchase the tool and actually get to the order page, will I received the tool????

Spoke to Michael Pisano at DHUKR and forwarded your question; he said "Yes it will work on 4x treble," while sharing a photo of a 3/0 4X treble with DHUKR in action. Obviously, if you have TWO or more of those trebles in at once, it's a bit more of a dilemma. -JH

De-barb your hook, and the problem is solved. Your chest beating photo is not that important, seriously. Spend $60.00 for a tool, or smash your barb down with a tool you already own!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Pretty easy decision!! I was told by eye doctors back when I was guiding that a barbless hook in the eye is easier to save. A hook with a barb on it, very much a different story!! Of course, this is my 2 cents on the subject that no one asked for!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
