    I love this video and Jim's narrative. As an instructor, I hope that I can someday talk thru a track the way Jim does - man, is he great at it!

    That is a really pretty race track and a great commentary from Jim. I had the privilege of driving an E-Type 18 months ago so I can appreciate the skill Jim showed.

    Jim. You last two videos you are driving my two favourite cars of all time. I get to see and touch them and watch the race at The Goodwood Revival in the UK each year, but not this year. The XKE or as we know them in the UK the E Type Jag and the GT40 Mk2 1966... Wow sight and sound to make your knees go weak. I`ve just lived two special moments watching you. Thank you. Wonderful wonderful post

    Heading down to VIR for my second time and this video was a great refresher. Also pointed out things to me that I'll try when I get there.

    VIR is my favourite American track. Was amazing to see it being driven in a British icon. Superb commentary.

    He's hitting 151? Either this thing is modified (sounds like it) or I am not giving the XKE enough credit. This is fairly tight track that the straights aren't super long, so I'm impressed with the top speeds he's hitting

    • @JimPaceMotorsports
      @JimPaceMotorsports 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes GPS indicated 151 mph on the back straight. The car is a vintage racer w/ 4.2L six cyl. Drove another E type roadster w/o windscreen shortly after that was a touch faster topend. Thanks for watching.

    Drum brakes only??

      @bachelorchownowwithflavor3712 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very late reply but, no, the E-type had four-wheel disc brakes from the factory. Jaguar was something of a leader in that area back in the day.
