Male friend I knew had a girlfriend who was Filipino as he lived in Manila for 1 year. She moved in with him so he added her name on rental contract as she wanted that address as well to receive mail and orders. He noticed money occasionally missing from his wallet so he started to mark it with a pen on his notes. When out he noticed these in her jewellery box with money he estimated missing. He also found pics of her and another Boyfriend , there were 2 or 3 also foreigners she was probably extracting money from as well. So one day when she was out he packed his bags to head back to UK , took all his money he calculated she had stolen and even had another suitcase to pack all items he had given her including shoes, laptop, iPad, cameras, clothes etc with plan selling all on ebay. He then emailed landlord and said he was leaving and his Filipino girlfriend would be responsible for the rest of 6 month contract - she never had any choice and was forced to pay the rent as he left country, considering this was a luxury apartment far more expensive than she would normally live. She was totally pissed but deserved it! Revenge can be sweet!

    • @tremainw1413
      @tremainw1413 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

You might find that one of those other foreigners was only too happy to pay up for the room... Also, it's not certain here, that the landlord may also have been the naughty one, with a bit of all too useful 'openall rooms armour' up his sleeve... Your friend could have removed all doubt that it was definitely her, before absconding. It's weird all the same, how there seem to be more stories of slippy fingers coming from here, compared to say from LOS, where there are many more foreigners both visiting and residing. Different attitudes and, sadly, more who are facing desparation, may well be the cause.

They are poor people trying to survive. He shouldn't have taken the gifts back because they were her possessions, not his. He knew she was taking money and let her continue, he set her up. He should have left her with the money as well, for being so stupid. She deserves it more than him.

While in the US AIR FORCE I flew through Clark Air Force Base but I never had an opportunity to see any of the country and I have four ever regretted it. Recently A friend of mine tried to get me to go with him but because it was so foreign to me I did hesitate. You video here now is encouraging me to go I think I will come and visit this winter and it gets cold up north where I live. it would be a good place to spend winter I'm sure I'm told there are lots of former Navy and Air Force who are living there now, expatriates. Thank you again for you video, it did prompt in me the urge to travel again.

Michael the majority of slags online are there for online bf only. Most have kids, a live in bf etc. Will tell u differently. U will be hit up for meds, school fees, rent, family emergency. U need to use logic. If a person does not work, why would their family expect them to pay ? . My strong advice, try to find a pinay a few months before going over. Have about three for four lined up for a meet. Most of the time the pinay will back out or delay the process of meeting. Any slag who wants to bring a friend along for a meet is a freeloader. Just want a meal, she is not serious. Ignore these types of slags. Many online who are in the major cities like manila or cebu, are happy to meet up at a hotel for a night. Most and i mean most, cant travel away from their city. Reason is most online have a bf/hubby already and/or just interested in cash. U can find but u probably need to type to a few hundred. Just remember any slag who directly or indirectly wants some cash, ignore. There are filipinos who are sincere and wanting a white bf. These types will not ask for cash. Does happen they do exist. I have watched other dudes vid's on youtube about dating sites. I would give those a miss. Waste of time. Try tagged, more of the same but u dont have to pay.

First, I am 6 years married to my Filipino wife. Second, I have been traveling to the Philippines since 2010. 3. Philippines is not the only country that is a haven for "paedophiles" _[sic]_ Here's the correct spelling pedophiles. The USA is a big haven of Sexual Offenders, and pedophiles. As well as Thailand, Brazil, Sri Lanka, and many European countries. If you have insecurity about your intention in the Philippines, then it is you with the problem.
I have never thought about people looking at me as a "pedophile" or "sex tourist." Those that are weak minded and worry about what others think of them are the fools. Being "horny" is a natural urge. People will act on that urge with their significant other, spouse, girlfriend, or someone they are attracted to physically and or mentally.
If YOU have insecurities or moral issues with what people think or what their intentions are in the Philippines. Go right up that person or people and voice your concerns, disdain, or moral issue in what you perceive as "paedophiles" _[sic]_ or _"their safety above their being horny."_ Why don't you get a camera, and film these men and women. Post online and shame them into submission.

Red Carded where did you come up with that information? I've been visiting the Philippines since 1999 and I am currently married to a Filipina. We travel there twice a year minimum. I've also lived there for four years straight. Do some foreigners go there for sex? Yes of course, but I would say that would be less than 10%. And what is the percentage of that looking for underage? Really not sure it would hard to come up with the statistics for that unless I would actually watch each individual person have sex. So I would like to know where you gather this information and then call the facts.
Because myself along with a lot of my friends and family go there because it is extremely cheap, we love the food, The people, the scenery, we like to explore and of course the beaches/water is beautiful. I think you're hearing about one or two bad instances and assuming that that's why millions of people go there per year to visit. I'm not saying it doesn't happen because it does, but that is not why "most people go there."

The Philippines is a fantastic place. I was there in 2009 in a visit with my future wife. Required by US immigration to get her a marriage visa. She is here now and a US citizen. Anyway, we stayed in Quezon city at a nice Hotel, Lemon Tree. I had no issues as she kept close tabs on me but I had some time to walk around at night, close to the hotel, and had no problems. Food was great, people were wonderful, and the climate??? HOT, even in March and April. Went to several malls, Rizal park, Subic Bay for a weekend, a zoo, if you could call it a zoo. Had a great time. I would say it would be very dangerous to go there by ones self without escort. If you have a trusted escort there, or go there with a person that knows Tagalog, you should be ok. I highly recommend it for a vacation on the other side of the planet.

Nick uk Get a picture of his meter, his face and his license plate, and turn him in to Duterte's anti-corruption "task force." Better yet, a video with sound would be better. He'll take you to your destination for free after that. Then you can decide whether to turn him in anyway.

with taxi drivers wanting more than the actual cost. U can refuse to pay the fare. Refuse to pay after reaching your destination. Does not matter if the taxi driver say this or that regarding the fare. If u see a security guard or even a police officer, can flag the guy down. No doubt the taxi driver would flee. What is a taxi driver going to do, if a white refuses to pay the fare ? fook all. Of course only to be advised if going to a shopping centre or hotel, where the foreigner would have some assistance against the corrupted taxi driver. With the duterte administration, the corrupted taxi driver would avoid drama in a public place.

taxi drivers want to make more money with foreigners, thats why they charge higher. Its their car, they can set the price. You can take the offer or refuse it or make a different offer by yourself. Thats the free market ^^

You are right I have been to the Philippines 3 times and stayed 45 days every time and it is beautiful and peaceful and you also have your ghettos like in USA.
I like to add that if you go to a restaurant remember to bring your napkins or a towel as these type of paper items are not handed out as freely as in the USA. Oh and take wet ones or toilet paper with you to the restroom including government buildings.
when I go I use sunglasses and those kids you talked about spot me a mile away at the beach and outside markets. People their will reprimand the kids to leave the foreigner alone
sometimes it works. Just be vigilant, carry in front pocket or closed pocket books, don't get caught drunk in the streets, and don't go out alone at night. Use common sense.

Great video. I live in B. Rodriguez near Mango Ave and even I never knew about it's bad nightlife. Then again I refuse to go out after 6pm because of snatchers and pickpockets etc. Of course if some guys are in bars after midnight then they are inviting trouble. One other thing - I take on average 2 taxis a day and have never had a problem with the driver not wanting to use the meter unlike in Manila where taxi drivers want to rip you off all the time. But I do hate the new ''variable meter charge'' which Grab just introduced last month since taking over Uber. Now they're a monopoly and they're starting to ''grab'' all our money huhu. They sure need consumer protection and noise pollution laws in Philippines. Love living here - talaga.

Such a shame that the PI is not what is was when Clark AB was there. I lived in the PI for two years back in the late 70’s. Met some of the warmest nicest people back then. The true PI culture is warm and as a guest a Pilipino would give you the shirt off their back then. Losing the income the military brought to this small country has severely impacted this country so now I think a lot of them do what they have to in order to survive.

I was also here back then some of the best times of my life. I knew then I would retire in the P.I
I lived long enough to do just that. I believe my prior experience made me more aware of the pitfalls. I don't deal with Bar girls. I never bring any woman to my home right away .I have no intentions of getting married and I tell any woman I am dating that first up front .
when I do go to bars I do not buy drinks for the girls .
I have found they will leave you alone once they see you are not a sucker or a fool.
They get tips for bringing my drinks ONLY.
It may seem cold, but after a time we become friends .I sit back and watch them play the foreigners for drinks and more while they wink at me . They know I know the game.

Good information. I encountered most of what you are speaking of when I visited the Philippines. The best advice I can give others is to be streetwise and be aware of your surroundings. I experienced an attempted robbery on the street and on a jeepney. However, it was not violent and as soon as I resisted they backed off. Once they know you are not an easy target, they will move on and leave you alone. I also met lots of really great people and had a wonderful time each time I was there. Don't let the few bad apples discourage you from visiting the Philippines. It's no different than any other city or place. A little common sense and you will be fine. Don't drink so much that you pass out, and stay away from drugs. This is no different than any other country in the world. Fools will be taken advantage of wherever they go. Don't be a fool.

I don’t understand why Filipinos take advantage of the foreigners. Sometimes I think it’s the Filipinos who are racist, not the foreigners. The tourists that come to the Philippines are very honest people and they work very hard for their money. The locals should be very grateful that the tourists are bringing money into the economy and should also be treated with respect. In Australia where I am from nobody cares if you’re rich or poor it is never OK to rip people off. A country is more like a business. If tourists get ripped off, they will never come back again, and it will very likely destroy the Filipino economy. If I was a taxi driver in Australia and started ripping people off, I would lose my job in an instant. My message to all Filipinos is: “When you cheat other people you end up cheating yourselves,”

In Europe? the electric man, plumber, mechanic, etc...they all rip you off…
Taxi drivers? they can t do much, because laws are very strong and inspectors often control them, but they will test you, if they find out you do nt know the way, they will drive you double distance…
      etc etc
Come on, the world is all about scamming others. I know many honest people, i dont know any honest jobs and most of bosses push their employees to screw customers.
If in Philippines, they do, it s because of the lack of laws, lack of policemen...Some call that freedom

If you bring a girl to your room tie her up before you go to sleep, I use hand cuffs on one leg then hide the key in the bathroom, best to connect one leg to something solid. It works great, but do not be cheap give her tip when you say good bye. Be up front when you meet her if she says no just move on. That way when you wake up she will be there and so will your possessions.
