- You are in for a treat today! My mama has a gorgeous, mature garden nestled under large pine trees, and I know you will enjoy taking a walk through it as much as I do. Right now it is in all of its Spring glory with the azaleas & dogwoods blooming and the perennials have emerged from their winter slumber. Settle in for a sight to behold!

That is the way my grandma gardened ,she took cuttings every where she went. She carried a little knife in her purse !! Friends back then would give or take cuttings because money was in short supply and amazing garden centers worn’t around .
Happy Monday! Love your Mama’s garden. It’s beautiful! I have a lot of plants like hers that came from family members and friends. Some of those have since gone on to be with the Lord so the flowers are kind of sweet memories of them besides being beautiful. I also love to share plants with others. We know where you get your love of plants. It’s all just gorgeous! Thank you for sharing and thank your Mom for sharing.

Maybe if your Mama won't/doesn't feel comfortable getting on camera she can just walk along behind the camera and have a mic on to fill in with whatever her heart desires. Kind of the way Aaron is behind the camera with mic on when he and Laura film their Q&A videos.

I love the massive drifts of colorful azaleas. And that one darker pink among the pale drift. So breathtaking.
Your mama's garden reminds me of a public garden here in Minneapolis on a big lake (Lake Minnetonka) that the daughter of a wealthy family donated to the county. Many have their wedding there.

Jenny, I know you joked that your mom would talk for hours... would you guys consider doing smaller segments with her? Like maybe the first video is the patch of azaleas she got from family & friends. Maybe another segment on her centerpiece/island with the wood stumps.

Well, Jenny, I have watched Mimi's garden tours so many times I can't count. This is my favorite garden on TH-cam. It reminds me of my Granny's garden she used to have. I'm just sitting here waiting for new garden tours of Mimi's garden. Love it!

This reminds me of my Mamaw’s yard in Alabama. She had tall pines with azaleas underneath and the occasional magnolia. Your Mama’s yard is beautiful!

Your Mama’s garden is gorgeous! I used to live in Georgia and my plants would get huge! I attribute that to the hot, humid climate. Couldn’t believe how big your Oak Leaf hydrangeas get there! Thank you for sharing.

Those Azaleas are spectacular. ❤️😍A lot of time & love has gone into her garden. I can’t help but wonder about poisonous snakes under those shrubs.😬
Just for the record: snakes are venomous, not poisonous. This saying may help you to remember: "If you bite it and you die, it's poisonous. If it bites you and you die, it's venomous." 🐍
Jenny, tell your mom we enjoyed visiting her gardens. She has a work of beauty there. I had to laugh when you were showing us the Trillium. I have them along with the Jack in the Pulpit popping up everywhere and just pull them up all the time. They upset my hostas when they get to close 😊 I have some of my gardens much the same as her in the shade in our yard. One thing I didn’t see was Oriental Poppies. Now there is a spreader. In the spring, you will have a sea of yellow blooms from them and they love the shade. They reseed so much, that I have to pull some of them out and feed them to my chickens. The Painted Ferns are another easy spreader for me as well. I seem to be always finding a baby and tucking it somewhere. Please tell your Momma we would love to see her next time and hear her stories. Thank you!!

Just lovely ,only in my dreams could I have a garden like that . Lost most of my plants this winter from our 0 degree temp. All of my azaleas are dead ,I’m just sick , will take years to get everything replaced . Tell mom that is the most beautiful garden 😁
