Now, this is a "Fairy Garden." Absolutely beautiful and magical!! I love how she uses wood pieces in her garden! I could sit for hours in her garden. It's just peaceful and relaxing to see.

Oh how I love seeing your mama’s garden! It is so lush and natural. I love the whimsical nature of it. The tree trunk table is gorgeous. The lifetime of work she has put into this garden is so apparent. Tell her thank you so much for sharing it with us❤️
I love seeing your Mom's garden. So beautiful!! I had my notebook out taking notes like I was back in school (that's been a few year or decades). I did not realize your Mom's house was so close to yours. I am a hydrangea, fern loving girl so your Mom's garden is right up my alley. Thank her for allowing us to drool over it.

Personally, I prefer this garden over a formal planned garden. It’s such a magical place!!! I bet she had to really watch for the sun patches to be able to plant some of those plants such as the roses.

I have enjoyed every moment of your video today. I have cried through the whole thing thinking about the beautiful moments you have shared with your mama. What a great heritage to have been groomed with such a love for plants and how to store the knowledge to repeat many of the same in your beautiful gardens. I recall of my childhood remembering the gorgeous blue hydgrangers at my home. This has been one of my favorite videos yet. Thank you for giving so much of yourself and your precious mama. She gardens like i would absolutely like to achieve someday. My cottage garden is a work in progress for 5 yrs now. Im slowly getting my spots of shade. Started out full sun everywhere, but slowly am getting more shade in certain spots. I too use things in nature as accents, planters, risers, etc. Thank you for another tour. It's so gorgeous

I have goldfish in my pond and they get big fast feeding on mosquito larvae. The only time mosquitoes can be useful.

Stunning garden that your mom (and dad) have created! And obviously still a garden in progress, there is a totally different energy to visiting a garden that is always being tinkered with, and a formal one that is meant to be static. Thank you and your mama for sharing with us!
I love whimsy.
When I had a mature maple tree cut down, I asked the forester to save me some pieces. He left me the section where the tree forked (main reason I had it removed). I turned it upside down and it looks like a man's lower torso standing knee-deep in the dirt.
I plan on getting a thrifted belt to screw onto the top (waist) and move the stump to my front yard so neighborhood kiddos can sit in it when they head to the nearby park. 😆
I enjoyed this tour tremendously. I try to emulate natural gardens and I am happy to say I am succeeding. My space is just a fraction of your mom’s space but I am loving the results of my efforts. Your mom’s garden is so peaceful! Loved it much. Thanks for the tour!🥰🌈

Your mom’s garden is exquisite. Thank you for sharing. Does she have any azaleas or rhododendron? I was born and raised in Raleigh and now live in a small town south of there. Every year I keep adding plants but have a long way to go. Your mom’s garden gives me inspiration.
Mimi’s garden is amazing. It is more beautiful than other garden tours I have been to. I can’t imagine what it looks like in person. Even though I like sun loving plants there is something to be said about shade gardens. Thank you for the amazing tour.

I am just now 62 and have started my own garden and it is true you will move, plant and move again until you find the right spots for everything . My yard is almost all shade. Except for afternoon sun which is too hot for baby plants. But I how to have a garden as nice as hers some day!

Jenny I haven't seen all of your momma's garden yet but WOW she has at least 2 green thumbs 👍👍 I absolutely love how she has filled it with all of the pockets of different colors of green and all of the pots and whimsical structure that she has collected over the years. I hosted a garden tour in my garden for my local garden club, members only, about 60 people, just a few days ago. Sandhills NC zone 8A. It was intimidating to be asked to do it, but I'm so glad that I did! I have learned so much from you and Laura about garden design. The best comments were those that said they were inspired by my ideas to go home and try new things! It felt great to answer questions somewhat with confidence after following you and Laura almost from the beginning of your channels. Thank you for your inspiration. Btw, my Aquapot from Creekside was absolutely stunning. Just Baby Tut and pink dragon wing begonias. It's massive! Your advice before I planted it was excellent. 🥰

please ask her to tell us the steps on keeping a Boston fern (I think that is the one she has inside the terra cotta pot) alive when she brings it to the garage.

I tried saving all my ferms last winter, hauled them all downstairs, lay them be in a dormant state, watered sparingly as Pinterest instructions stated. March I started watering regularly, green was coming on new fronds. April I divided them and put in new containers with fresh soil, fern fertilizer.. and it all went down hill after that!! LOST every single one of them!! 😩

Jenny, I have a horrible problem with voles. My husband helped me try to fashion some wire protection from hardware cloth. I had no idea that you could buy them pre-made. Thank you for linking that company.

Love your mom rain system. I am also a hand waterer and collect water. May i suggest a net over the rain barrel she can slip on and off to keep mosquitoes away. That is what I was going to do until my bf got all high tech and added height and spouts.
