Never heard of this scam? I was approached a total of FOUR TIMES over a period of 10 years beginning in the 1990s. I knew from the first time I was approached that this was a scam and declined their offer. The second time I was approached in a Sam's Club parking lot, I said, "I'm not interested in buying any speakers." before the guy could say anything. The third time I was taking the trash out in my apartment complex and was asked if I wanted to buy some speakers. I laughed and said, "I knew you were going to ask me that." The last time happened again in a store parking lot, only it was two guys in an SUV, and one guy asked me if I wanted surround sound. This time I said, "You guys aren't driving around in a white van asking people to buy speakers anymore?" The guy got pissed off but I didn't hear what he said because I'd gotten in my car.
Fell for this yesterday in missoula montana. Luckily opnly out 100 dollars for a "2000$" sound bar. Man i feel stupid. It was a compelling story he had.
@@TrustDALETV absolutely. Scammers are some of the worst people. Not doing honest hard work for your money is one of the scummiest things people do in my opinion.
One time, I worked so hard and my income got taxed and I bought a t-shirt with my taxed income and got taxed on it and then I sold the t-shirt and I got taxed. That was the biggest scam 😃
My dad bought these scam speakers back in the day. Unfortunately we hooked them up annnnndddd they sound terrible. I still see people trying to do this at my local mall!
Most arent really scams. Just cheap speakers for cheap prices. I got a whole surround sound home theatre system that slapped for 2 grams of hash that i grew n made myself and 40 bucks. I knew it wasnt worth thousands like they were saying plus at the time i was actually shopping for a system so it was a fate feeling also. And also it lasted me for a few years until i sold it to my buddy. I still feel like it was a win on my side.
A legit white van got me as a young 20 year old fresh off the farm in Denver. I think I bought one speaker for $100 because I was broke. It of course was crap but I had no idea until I was an adult.
Vanderbach? I thought it was candy. Lol
its one hell of a scam, I can't imagine how many people they have succeeded in ripping off................

White van speaker scam is a little misleading. A more accurate way of describing it would be simply be speaker scam. They could be using any vehicle.
