Nice video. PSW is a scam - thanks for exposing them. Just as an FYI, sensitivity is the amount of sound a speaker outputs using one watt at one meter. It's typically written as: Sensitivity 86dB/2.83V/1m axial. The average sensitivity is around 90db. The range can be from the low 80's to 100+ (in Klipsch, JBL, etc.)
Same thing happened to me the other day, dude came out his van and told me if I wanted a home theater speaker.. he had a QR code on the box which led to a website where the speak was listed for 2400$. He said he was doing deliveries and had to get rid of the speaker quick then he offered me he would sell it for 700. I told him I didn’t need it then he kept forcing at some point I felt uncomfortable so I just got in my car and left. I dodge a bullet on this one. 😢😢
I got scammed once bought the s3 and the s5 for $260. The sound bar has sand bags in it to make it feel heavy. Today another crew tried to sell those to me I set them up with the cops the cops investigated they opened their trunk and I showed them your video. But nothing worked. they had nothing on them in terms of law. How can they get away with this? There are tons of videos like yours. How is the law not protecting us from these scammers… UNBELIEVABLE
Yes it's a fine line. You have to show the documentation on the items is wrong. But police don't have the time or ability to check the ratings on the equipment. Just know, never buy from out of a van.
Yeah, don't buy any audio equipment that showcase the specs on the box itself. On high end audio that doesn't happen because on those legit brands you already know what's inside and what are their specs
Got scammed today wanted 600 I gave up 130... felt soo stupid after i checked online.... story was they were delivering them and one of their deliveries got canceled and they either had to sell it or bring it back to warehouse and they would sell it for 600. Told dm I only got 100 on me and they said 130... that's when I should've seen red.. but I was too dumb. Feel like shit but guess we all gotta learn a lesson one way or the other
Long time back, some bloke wanted to sell me Pold audio speakers (knock off Polk audio). Told them to change its name to mold audio. Gave them a spare spray bottle containing vinegar to use on them. Bloke went speechless and got back in their van to harass the next parking lot.
My neighbor got scammed but with a product called "Granger bessel home theater system which is the Granger Bessel GB-80 soundbar comes with a subwoofer also so she decided to give me coz it wasn't turning on but when I got it actually turned and worked fine but the sub keeps clipping out lol Still have it n it works fine still... and they claimed on the box the total power is 1200Watts buts its 94 😅
🤣 dude this been going on since the 80s, can’t believe you fell for this in 2022. it’s not just “psw” out there, they come up with fake names all the time, usually mimicking high-end brands. learn your brands and these things won’t happen.
@@HavocSun back in the 90s they approached my mom, but she called me for advice... i said tell them to get lost. they wanted $400 for a brand with a name similar to genelec (an actual high end brand). "psw" is probably mimicking "psb" which is also a high end brand.
May God forgive you. One day you will answer to God. Do you have a spouse, a mother, a aunt or grandma? Imagine them being tricked into buying an item they want. But it’s very fake and the seller knows it. Shame on a heart like that.

I paid $39.99 no tax for PSW S5 set in the box at Goodwill. should I return for store credit?
I found one of these setups in a trash bulk pick up pile and thought "yay I'm so lucky"
Did you ever test the speakers to see if they work at all?
I hooked mine up and they will actually bring forth sound
So funny I had a guy in a white van at a gas station trying to sell me a home theater lmfao.

4 to 8 ohms is the impedance that they represent to the amplifier you don't pop a speaker with ohms
