Finishing Dressrosa here. As a newer fan to the series I’d like to provide my perspective. I think the Blackbeard Pirates have to be the final boss. Between Teach’s being one of the strongest Logia Devil Fruits and Whitebeards’ being the strongest Paramecia, his executives’ knowledge of the technique to “catch” a Devil Fruit ability leaving its owners’ body and give it to someone in the crew. I know it’s not strong evidence also, but his laughter style of “ze-ha” could refer to Z being used as the end of something, and Oda has been foreshadowing that Teach would be the final opponent Luffy would face for the One Piece since Mock Town. There’s obviously nearly 500 episodes of context that I’m missing, but somehow I don’t think that the Red-Hair Pirates will seriously contend for the One Piece. I think Shanks recognized that Luffy was going to become King of the Pirates after seeing how similar he was to Gold Roger, and he has perhaps decided to guard the One Piece by proxy until Luffy comes to claim it. I’m certain, though, that the World Government is going to force Shanks’ crew to fight sometime near the Strawhats’ arrival on Laugh Tale. Shanks told Buggy that he wasn’t ready to go after the One Piece yet, but it may be that he doesn’t intend to at all, and that was before he met Luffy. It’s possible that he phrased it that way to keep the uncertainty of Shanks contending for the throne in Buggy’s mind, possibly to deter him from trying to take the One Piece for himself.
I get your point about the fight even if it is hard to argument for. But the last one changed my mind when Shanks wants to stop luffy from fighting blackbeard and zorro stops Shanks. I can feel this idea very strongly but dont think its realistic.
Yeah, that's fair. It isn't a fully formed idea. I think the pirate that Shanks went to go see the Gorosei about was Blackbeard, but I don't know what his plans are for him. If he were to stop Luffy from fighting Blackbeard I'd imagine it would be similar as to why Roger helped the Celestial Dragons at God Valley. But no one reason seems clear to me as to why any of that is. So for now I'll wait and see if the theory gets any more likely or unlikely, because I don't have a lot to go on right now 😅
If you watch the live action one piece you have milhawk meet up with shanks after he defeats zoro and shanks comments even with one arm behind his back he could beat milhawk. Oda himself approved this scene.
First thing, I actually can believe Zoro could fight Shanks in a 3-way crew fight against BB and Red-Haired pirates and I do agree that it's nigh impossible for CG to have a direct fight against the SHs, but I disagree on everything else. Zoro being pretty apathetic towards whatever Mihawk does make perfect sense. Mihawk is a grown man that can make his own decisions and Zoro is a stoic guy that doesn't have a nosey personality that would try to always know what's Mihawk's business. He appreciates and respects Mihawk, but he doesn't care enough to try and manage or hover over Mihawk. In every single direct comparison between Mihawk and Shanks, Mihawk is always either at worst comparable to Shanks, or better. Mihawk is always presented as "the World's Strongest Swordsman" or "the World's Strongest Swordsman and former rival of Yonko Shanks (clearly implying that he's surpassed him)", or "the World's Strongest Swordsman and better than Shanks". Shanks is being built up more recently, but that doesn't mean he's stronger, it just means he's going to be used sooner. Similar to how BM was built up and her feats were shown first before Kaido was, because she was going to be used first, but it wasn't logical to say that she was stronger than Kaido att too. And also in terms of who could Oda build up powers up more, Mihawk has far more basis for Oda to make new powers from, compared to Shanks, who he kinda already revealed the powers of. Kaido's point with Roger was that you could only really reach the top tier with advanced haki and Kaido used him as an example because he's probably still the strongest non DF fighter Kaido's fought, or at least those that Luffy also know of, so discarding Xebec. He didn't say or imply that Roger was the strongest or the World's Strongest Swordsman.
When you blatantly go against Oda saying that Mihawk is the greatest swordsman in the world not in just name but in actuality is crazy bro. Also Zoro not mentioning Mihawk is false when he crossed blades with S Hawk he says Mihawk is more of a monster than the seraphim this is a reach gang no bap
I didn't say Zoro never mentioned Mihawk post time skip. I brought up the example when he found out Mihawk was in the Cross Guild. Also when Zoro encounters S-Hawk, he doesn't say anything that builds towards his fight with Mihawk, so I didn't bring it up. My point is that Zoro doesn't mention Mihawk like he's looking forward to dueling him.
@@LeeTSimba first point ok cool second point he specifically stated that Mihawk was more of a monster than S hawk was stating that crossing blades with a hawk seemed more human than crossing blades with the real human Mihawk
@nexis6694 that was actually such a cool reference to Mihawk's strength. A really sick moment for sure, but it wasn't enough for me to say they're building up the fight. If Zoro said something like "you might be good practice for the real thing" I would have been more sold.
@@LeeTSimba I feel you bro everyone has their own criteria that statement was good enough for me. But check my other comment to it’s separate from this one
L video, Shanks is not a better swordsman than Mihawk, even if you wanna debate if he's stronger, he is not a better swordsman Mihawk is stated have have greater skill than shanks in swordplay, that alone debunks your entire video because Zoro's goal is to become the best swordsman, you don't become the best swordsman by fighting someone like shanks when it's already stated that he isn't the best swordsman since Mihawk is more skilled than shanks with a sword You are delusional Brodie, Mihawk and Shanks has an unsettled score, meaning you could debate Shanks being stronger Mihawk's clone was capable of pressing Blackbeard with copied swordsmanship from Mihawk We do not support Shanks being a better swordsman than Mihawk, it's fucking stupid When Zoro goes up to the rooftop, he says, "I came to see the strength of who is claimed as the strongest," referring to Kaido, because he has the world's strongest creature title. Because of this, Zoro wants to fight him to see the level of the strongest The reason for this is mihawk is titled the strongest, so Zoro wanted to see the strength of another strongest However unlike Kaido, Mihawk is stated to be the strongest among the strongest, meaning you could debate Mihawk being over shanks which I'm not doing right now because it's a brain dead argument, Mihawk has the advantage in close corners combat he has more skill, so I'ma let shanks have that edge in strength for now until Mihawk proves himself However Mihawk is also stated by Oda to be the strongest not only in name but in reality as well, meaning when it comes to swordsman, you shouldn't even have to debate it, Oda fucking said it years ago Now from the live action, it's applied that even with one arm Shanks could take Mihawk in a fight, however, it is not implied that Shanks would win it is only implied that he could take him or contest him in a fight. Mihawk looks almost as if he's completely uninterested in shanks comment and shrugs it off knowing that Mihawk would win in a fight due to the loss of Skill that came from shanks loss of an arm. Shanks still has the strength to contest Mihawk, even possibly the strength to overwhelm Mihawk However, Mihawk, who is regardless of how you view it is on a strength level similar to shanks still has the increased skill factor in which shanks is suffering from. Due to this, even if Shanks is a slab above Mihawk in strength, Mihawk is still the stronger swordsman because Mihawk's skill will allow him to output himself more effectively than Shanks. Mihawk is a better swordsman than Shanks Mihawk waits for a swordsman to surpass shanks to take his title, check the viber cards Brodie For Shanks to be above Mihawk, Shanks would have to be stated by Oda, to have surpassed him which was never mentioned or even hinted at in the slightest, in fact the opposite is hinted at nearly Everytime these two are on screen Red hair is always with his crew, Mihawk is almost always solo, Mihawk mocks the idea of Fighting shanks The only bit of leverage you Shanks supporters have is marine Ford and it's genuinely retarded Mihawk agreed to fight Whitebeard for the government, not red-hair plus his entire fleet When Mihawk leaves he advices everyone to stand down as well, this is literally your only leverage against Mihawk and it's mainly because of Mihawk's character not his fighting ability Zoro fighting Shanks to become the greatest wouldn't mean anything in the story because it's already implied that they're are better swordsman in one piece than Shanks, being Mihawk Mihawk wants to see Zoro surpass Shanks to know he is Worthy of fighting him at his best Mihawk and Shanks has an unsettled score and it's implied they haven't fought since shanks got nerfed and had to train his skills again Meaning if Zoro surpasses someone that has an unsettled score with the greatest swordsman, than Zoro would be in range of said greatest swordsman by surpassing his previous rival in shanks However Zoro fighting Shanks isn't likely to happen, Zoro surpassing shanks just like Mihawk's viber card suggest however is likely L video bro, ain't no way in fucking hell are you trying to say Shanks is a better swordsman than Mihawk, get this trash outta here this shit is insulting
Zoro won't fight shanks or mihawk. They aint black. Zoro'a final fight is against Imu no cap.
lol
mihawk's sword tho.....
Imu is not Black
If your going after the number 1 you got to beat number 2
Oda would never give someone more spotlight than Luffy, but shit i can cope. This video got me hyped up for something i know will never happen
Don't worry, this will definitely happen (I'm also coping)
Very good delivery and fun to watch tho
