Both of these have happened and both players were ejected for 'making contact with an official.' Break them up, by all means, but don't throw a flag every time one of them bumps you.

Also one sense is it when you kick guy from game and there is 45 seconds left in the game they should have to sit out the next game as well. Stupid ways of doing this stuff. It is so simple to police also if a player has 2 ejections the penalty should be 5 games including playoffs if they are near. The late hits at the sidelines, gotta fix those. Too many people get seriously hurt on them. You hit a guy heading out of bounds like that you gone brotha. Plus you push a referee instant 5 game suspension there has to be respect and professionalism in sport.
