I'm so proud of you! Anyone can live that same life in Africa instead of the United States. No place is perfect in this world, but Africa is where I'm going to live among my people.

Wow, OMATAKO translates to buttocks just like in the Kongo's language from Congo, MATAKU translates to buttocks as well, similar phonetic and same meaning. I guess Namibians are the same Bantu peoples as Congolese are.

The vast majority of Namibian inhabitants found in the central to far northern part of the country are of bantu origins. Ofcourse some words are spoken the same but may have different meaning. In this case the word Omatako translates to the🍑 back side in otjiherero, themba, bemba and oshiwambo languages.

Being that you are in Africa for a while now, have you made any good friends to hang out with? Do you send Lance to camp in the summer? Or do you have school in June/July because it’s cold outside. Do they have Jamaican restaurants there too, just curious it’s nice to have different foods from time to time. I love your stories of Namibia. I love Africa and learning about the countries there. If you want to watch fun TH-cam Woda Maya has a great channel bringing Africa to the world and breaking stereotypes. Miss Trudy also has a cute channel.

Hi! Yes, I have some close friends but most live in another town. They don't really have summers off like in the U.S. The biggest holiday time off from school is xmas break. They do have school in June/July still. I don't know of any Jamaican restaurants here but I do know a few Jamaicans here! Thanks for sharing those channels!
