    Money: coming from the US, you might be used to get groceries at supermarkets and eat a lot of ready made food. This will turn out very expensive in any other country! So number one lesson must be learn to cook with fresh ingredients... Adapt to the local food and buy your groceries where the locals buy them.

    • @angelrenate
      @angelrenate 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Had a friend move to Costa Rica and she said there was one brand of everything (one brand ketchup, one brand bread, etc.) and healthcare is like you get a shot for everything and that's it. Just a shot that may or may not work and send you on your way. So there's that too.

    • @makanaki513
      @makanaki513 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A good number of African countries have food VERY CHEAP and highly available... n there is a lot of freedom to grow your things. Just learn the local lingo accurately and eliminate the accent d'americano, that twenging makes the grocery prices double in a second.

    • @makanaki513
      @makanaki513 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Erich Weiler still doesn't change the Fact that food in Africa is surprisingly cheaper, richer, less likely carsinogenic, has minimal control by governing bodies (which ironically leaves people with a wonderfully array of food choices and an ability to grow their own food n keep their own chikens even in the surburbs). Corruption is another thing. Fun fact, did you know that if Africa and South America decided to not export any of their fruits n raw material 1st world countries would slowly but surely get malnutritioned? The wealth of African soil is the gift that keeps the world spinning. Otherwise, why would Africa be so invaded? I have a theory that corruption is a colonially caused issue since all european countries that had colonies still havent let go of control over the territories they created that we now have to call countries

      94110mission hi bro and u r still into it remember to always have a tour guide don't try to do it alone,bonfire adventures and tamasha africa travel agencies are highly recommended.if I were u I would take a kenya,rwanda and Botswana trip which would give better evaluation in terms of business opportunity. Rwanda is 9th safest in the world and business friendly. In Botswana safety is also very good with huge opportunities in beef industry I highly recommend. For kenya safety is just normal.you have time tour the 3 countries it will give you a clear picture of africa instead of just one.I wish you had booked your air bnb through one of the tour guide I gave don't do things on ur own for ur own good enjoy ur trip.for real estate deal as usual with Nancy she has a good reputation and kindly make a vlog when u come pliz tag me along

      @@kingjoshuamhuamk2559 You answered my question before I asked, which is, where would you rank Kenya overall, compared to other African countries. I'll look at other countries for a future visit, but this trip will be all Kenya. I will visit other cities besides Nairobi. And I'll be in Mombassa for my final week in your country. And yes, I will vlog and I'll add you to it. Who knows, maybe we'll get a chance to meet.

    • @kingjoshuamhuamk2559
      @kingjoshuamhuamk2559 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      94110mission on ranking I will do it putting in mind three things : the ease of doing business ,urbanisation /infrastructure, security/safety.overall I will rank using country's which are business friendly to foreigners:Mauritius, rwanda,south Africa,Angola,botswana,Kenya, that's a 5 for kenya.for ease of doing business rwanda and Mauritius rule coz they don't tolerate corruption. For safety rwanda rules since kigali is ranked 9th worldwide together with UAE its also very clean, followed by Mauritius and Botswana.for urbaniation/infrastructure south Africa rules followed by Mauritius, Angola then kenya.so the three points categorize everything and when considered will give different ranking.however the best time to rank African countries will be around 2025 since many are still working on their infrastructure projects which come to completion on same year extended to 2030 maximum. If for example the sgr rail project was complete u cld have traveled from Mombasa to Nairobi to kisumu much easier but ur arrival in June coincides with the project being halfway through so yah I know u get it.a good tour timetable prepared by ur tour guide should be able to give u a clear picture of kenya and a unforgettable experience, there is nothing like touring the maasai mara park,malindi and ndiani in Mombasa so memorable. So yah all the best as u prepare to come

    I am an Black-American living in the Philippines. Just like where you are tissue is hard to come by when you are out in public so you had better carry your own supply. However, over in your home here most foreigners use a portable bidet for hygiene. This device attaches to your toilet and you have a water hose you spray for cleaning. It really is much better than toilet paper and I wished I had this item before when I lived in the states. The locals use for hygiene a little small plastic pot with a handle they put water in in the bathroom. But, I could never use that thing because I had water going all over the place. Yikes!
